Always great service from everyone, good drinks that are well worth the money, chill vibes, good variety of music, and lovely bartenders. Long Island challenge is fun and looking forward to finishing many more!

You get free entry but you must buy one drink. I went here on comedy night.....there where about 15 people performing for about 10-15 minutes a piece. The comedians are newbies that's up and coming. But I enjoyed it.....there is also a special day for people with dogs. The martinis are decent too....they have something called the passport award if you drink so many.

I can’t comment much on the food or drinks since I’ve only been inside the bar once but as someone who lives right above Shakers, they are super disrespectful to their neighbors in the area when it comes volume level of music. Hosting Karaoke/comedy nights multiple times a week until after 1am (sometimes as late as 2:30/3) is very disruptive and inconsiderate for people who live in the building and actually have jobs to tend to in the morning. Also, I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen more than 20 people inside the bar, so there is really no reason for their music/speakers to be so loud and obnoxious. My roommates and others in our building have tried to call numerous times to ask them to turn down the music and they either don’t pick up or hang up mid-call after we’ve ask them to turn it down. Please go to Trader Todd’s if you want a good Karaoke experience! Better atmosphere overall and to my knowledge, they do not have any apartments in their building so you won’t be disturbing residents :)

Sincerely, a tenant who lives above Shakers and is reaaalllyyy tired of not being able to fall asleep multiple times a week

Came here to enjoy my friends open mic and unfortunately claimed that their name was “erased” Turns out my friends name was in fact NOT erased, I heard it being called on stage and they missed their set due to the bouncer turning him away. Bouncer seems to have trouble resolving solutions and a bad attitude when it comes to confrontation, turning away people at the door based on his own bias assumptions.

Shaker's is a fun neighborhood bar for everyone and they don't mean that lightly. There's a diverse group of people that frequent here and the staff is very friendly. I've had great conversations with Bonnie, Mark, Nancy and Joe. It's a fun place if you just want to have a drink, listen to music on the jukebox, play pool or darts or take the challenge with their Long Islands. If you want somewhere to go where you know you're accepted, this would be the place!

No food to rate but bartenders and KJs are great. Mark is always happy to greet us and they have karaoke most nights- Saturday, Sunday Wednesday and Friday for sure but I think they are adding more nights!

They have popcorn and a bunch of long Island flavors.

Gay friendly dive bar! Good specials, very clean and friendly bartenders! Also, a few minutes walking to the other big gay bars. So it’s nice to pre-game here before heading to the other crowded gay bars in boystown.
