Such a beautiful place to spend time with your family, friends, and pets. Everyone is friendly and you can set up a chair right next to the lake and just hang out. Downtown Clermont is steps away for lunch or dinner, and the farmers market is on Sunday. There are usually events going on over the weekend so you can often find cool things going on around you, like food festivals and even dragon boat races! There are clean bathrooms, a playground, splash park, picnic areas, and kayak/paddle board rentals. This place is a local gem!

Amazing getaway with the family and a perfect place to ride your bicycle or do some barbecue.

So beautiful, relaxing, and fresh water, not salt water. Such a nice vibe, free parking and picnic tables if you get there on time. I love this place.

I absolutely love this park! It is great for families. Splash pad, park, picnic tables, and beach on the lake! The splash pad has a fee for entry, but you can come and go all day if you keep the bracelet on. Bring lunch with you and enjoy it lakefront.

Very pretty park. Always clean. Not that many people there. Good place to have your lunch they have tables and even a restroom. I go here every so often to have a picnic with friends or family. There is a small trail I walked my dog in before. Occasionally, they set up games in the area.

Love this local paradise. Has a small playground on the beach, splash pad, ice cream truck, and idle lake waters that are not too deep for me to be scared of for my kids (2 and 5). Also important that they have bathrooms for changing. We had fun playing basketball too on the court as well as celebrating a birthday at the pavilion. The boardwalk provides GREAT sunset photos!

Gorgeous area. Fun beach on the lake. Plenty of places to roam, ride a bike, or enjoy the sun. And a play area for small children.
Beautiful park with lots of shade. Great place for a picnic. Clean restrooms on site and this park also has frisbee golf.

Beautiful beach at Minneola Lake, the water at the lake is cold this time a year but the weather still sunny,, I wanna bring a book and relax here all day. Also you can relax your feet on the delicious sand at the beach. There's public restrooms
Great for a quick walk. Nice views

Beautiful scenery and view of the lake, really feels like youre in the wilderness. Dogs arent allowed in order to protect wildlife and protect the dogs from said wildlife and horses. So please respect the rule and nature. Dont come here and let your dog off leash like some other reviewers. At least one panther lives here probably bear too so be smart and be safe. The playground is amazing.
Elderly couple think this is just right. 1.7 mile, well marked trail, with benches and views. Took us a slow hour to enjoy. Be sure to see the sink hole. You might just catch a gopher turtle in the scrub section of the trail.
Beautiful nature walk with different flora to explore. It has a kids playground however it’s not kept like a regular kids park so beware of spiders and other insects that are native to the area. Other than that this place it’s amazing.

Waterfront park is a beautiful and peaceful place. The lake is serene and the area is loaded with things to do. From dining to swimming or boating, there is never a dull moment. Come down for Christmas and check out the lights. It’s my favorite place to be.
Had a nice Memorial day celebration. The Oaks are beautiful with moss. There are lots of birds and squirrels. Playground for the wee ones. Lots of folks walking thier dogs. But there are yellow flies with mean bites! Bug spray recommended.
Its got some nice trails, it's pretty small, nothing crazy special, but we did see a snake which was pretty cool. Its close to our house, so we've been a handful of times. But we haven't like really explored it, there's probably a lot we haven't seen yet
An other day on a dog owner life 2023 .. No dogs allowed , Some rules sometimes I decide is better to break always as long as I’m not affecting some one else . God bless you too

Sandy but easy to walk trails. Peaceful short walks for all ages. There are maps available a restroom and some picnic tables.
I had recently found out about this place and decided to stop by when I got the chance today. It was quite a popular place and the parking lot was much more full than I expected. Im not surprised since the weather was so nice today. There is a bathroom next to the parking lot along with information boards about the preserve and other around Lake County. The trails are well maintained and well marked and the views of the lake are stunning. Don’t forget to stop by the sinkhole either. I’ll absolutely be back.
Nice hike with a few hills. Great views overlooking the lake.

This park has lots of good shade and walking trails. Playground only way to the single slide is the spiral staircase. Only two swings. Not a lot for the kids to do. Includes a see-saw. The disc golf course is really well kept but extremely popular. Had to wait in line to play. Lots of beautiful large trees.
Hard to give a beautiful nature trail a “bad review.” The trails are all marked and path is clear. There’s a few spots along the way to stop and sit, take in the beautiful scenery.

Great place for dog mamas and moms of humans ;) free park, separate SMALL & LARGE dog parks; both very large. Lots of tree coverage over entire park, perfect for walking. Disc golf trail, beautiful playground for kids 5-12 and clean bathrooms. Across the street beautiful picnics areas with trash cans and walk along lake minnieola
Such an amazing day we have here with kids.
This park is great for kids and adults, we played at the playground and after went to walk, the beautiful trees and the trail is just awesome.

This was the best park I have been to in the area. There was so much for the kids to do. There had swings and the usual playground stuff but they also had a water pipe that shot water down on to the play area for kids. There was huge walk trail too. We actually didn't finish the full circle but it was 1.5miles and 3 miles for a full circle. There was place for Golf and plenty of parking. This is opposite lake Minneola as well, so even better for a entertaining evening. We had a blast.

Really beautiful park with it's perfectly manicured plantation look and old grandfather oaks. Very nice and clean restrooms. Picnic pavilion and lot's of places to sit and relax. Kids playground area was nice but limited. Couple swings, teeter trotter, and high slide. Climbing up the spiral staircase(water tower) was really intimidating with an almost 3 year old. He was unusually terrified! Maybe better suited for an older child but not enough to play with to keep them satisfied I'd say. Safe clean and lovely park though. Great find.
We found this looking for a local hiking trail and this FAR exceeded our expectations. Really peaceful and beautiful! Not difficult, relatively short, and a few different path options. Great for all ages and abilities. We came back a few days later to kayak and canoe - WOW. Magical!

Nice park, great restrooms, easy Canoe/ kayak launch area. Took our scout Venturing Crew out on the lake, had a great time then enjoyed our lunch in the shade on their picnic tables. Beautiful inlet traveling down the crooked river!

I love this place. Great views of Lake Apopka. The trails are well marked and laid out. Great altitude change gives the trails a modern edge. I ran into a Florida Panther on the trail by the lake. Without a doubt that's what it was. So keep an eye out.

Nice place to take a walk. Can see the lake from several areas. Some of the areas can be a little wet during rainy season or Sandy but most of the trails are dry and level.Just be aware there are snakes and can be alligators. Playground area and also restrooms. Nice parking. But dogs are not allowed on trail. There are horse trails also.

This is a beautiful nature park that is very well kept and still hold on to Florida's natural side. It is a historic site as well. There is a great playground and walking trails suitable for all families to take a break from technology and experience nature right in our backyards.
Great little piece of nature in restoration in the West Apopka lake area. They have horse, bike and hiking trail with beautiful views of the lake and a nice variety of wild life. Parking, bathrooms and playground is in the trailhead. Totally worth for a short (30 to 120 minutes) hiking.
