Nice place for all day with the kids. You can feed with a carrot (£1 a box) alpacas, donkeys, pigs, cows, and bottle calves and lambs and pet the rabbits.
If you choose farmer experience admission then you have a lot of privileges. You can meet and feed the meerkats. But it’s from 6 yo.
They have a huge baby change room, toilets, big cafe with a nice price. As a big breakfast cost £7.50, burgers with salad and fries 7.50. Hot chocolate £2.50. Plus they cake a cakes there too. They sell eggs pack of 6 cost £1.50.
As all area is a big field so better to have a boots as it is very dirty.

Lovely day out for families. You get to feed the animals with carrots that you buy as you go in. You will need more than one box though,as you will get through one box in the first shed with the cows. We got to feed the baby lambs and calves with bottles of milk. It's a lovely experience. They have an amazing menu in the cafe. Plenty of choice.

Our visit to Swithens Farm was absolutely fantastic! We had a blast feeding the friendly animals and even got to feed milk to the cows. The farm had a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere with a delightful play area for our kid.The staff were welcoming and made our visit even more enjoyable. Our day at Swithens Farm exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to visit again. We highly recommend this place for a fun-filled family day out.

We love Swithens Farm. Such a friendly, welcoming place. The staff are phenomenal, so helpful and great with the children. The animals are well looked after. The outdoor play areas are currently having an upgrade, but there is plenty to see and do. It's not too expensive for anything food and gifts included. It's just a wonderful place to visit 😊

Very fond of this place. I have been bringing my children here since 2019 and made some unforgettable memories. Far far better than other open farms in Yorkshire. The kids can get up close to the farm animals, feeding etc. There is plenty for them to do. Lots of spaced out indoor and outdoor play areas rather than all in one place which I like including a new sand play area which looks like great fun in the summertime.
I find the pricing reasonable to say some of the other open farms are almost £50 for a small family. Would definitely rather spend my money here.
Can't wait to visit again !

Brilliant day out for all the family my kids age 12, 9 and 7 all really enjoyed it, as well as myself, my partner and grandmother in law. We were there from lunch time til closing, and they enjoyed it all. Feeding the calves and lambs there milk, seeing all the animals, playing on the tractors and climbing wall. Lovely food in a nice clean cafe at a great price. Would love to come again if we are back up in the area.

A jam packed fun day out for the family, great for all ages. You could easily spend hours and hours here, there’s so much to explore and experience. The staff are extremely friendly, you can bottle feed calf’s and goats. Purchase cartons of carrots for 50p and feed the other animals including cows and pigs. There are interaction stations for children to pet baby chicks and brush bunnies. There are rope swings, slides, tight rope. Including trampolines, bouncy castles and electronic cars. If you pick a warm dry day, you’re going to love it.
A haven of tranquility. Very easy to find on google maps. A miniature japanese garden so many beautiful flowering shrubs & acers. A place of beauty & harmony. Great to spend time on your own or visit as family. There is a small free car park & the gardens are free entry which makes it worthwhile & lovely to visit. The blossom trees are in full bloom & give the gardens a glorious presence. There is birdsong everywhere & a small lake with lilly pads which attracts wildlife. The azelea bushes once in full flower will add so much color. A pleasure to visit & while away the afternoon & enjoy peaceful surroundings❤️❤️❤️
Lovely place for a relaxing walk! My baby loved looking at all the red 😍 even in winter this was a really peaceful place to go!
Really lovely place for a wonder, beautiful flowers and gardens and wild meadow-y sections. A great place to see dogs and there's a cool skate park too. The Japanese gardens are small, but lovely. Right now there's no waterfall which is a shame, but it's still a lovely spot.
It has only just reopened and was incredibly peaceful when I visited. I have a feeling more colours and blooms will come through which should make it look amazing. One disappointing thing was the litter in and around the waterfall. I avoided showing this in my photos obviously!
A little bit of tranquility in horsforth Hall Park. A bit of respite for thirsty dogs, a good place to watch the carp in the pond rise. Some beautiful specimen plants and unusual windows in this walled garden. It's not large, but packs a lot in!
