A nice scenic place to walk and sit on benches to watch people, ducks and boats on the riverbank. Plenty of parking spaces and benches to sit on. There’s also some art pieces displayed in the park and from a distance there’s nice views of houses or buildings. A must visit place

Love this park. Wish they would put some exercise equipment in, on a circuit!!!

Beautiful place to relax at. It has a great view over the Hudson River. The Metro North train has a stop literally steps from the park. It also has a small playground

Stopped by to check out the Cherry Blossom festival and plant sale. I had seen the are many times from the Empire Service train going between Albany and Penn Station. Huge crowd of people was enjoying the festival. The grassy are along the waterfront was just the break I needed during the drive to New York City. A multi use path passes through here. I plan on giving that some attention this summer. Paddling in this are seems like a good idea also. Check out the restaurant scene just across the tracks!

Very nice park, clean with restrooms, playground dog friendly and free parking on weekends. The views are amazing, right in the hudson river. I drove here however park it's still accessible by metro-north which drops you off right on the park. When you have time definitely visit this beautiful park and take in the views of the mountains like bear mountain. As you enter the park you will cross the railroad tracks. You also have eatery nearby and ice cream shop.

This is part of the Peekskill Riverwalk. It's very pretty here and quite relaxing. There's Fleishman Pier you can walk out on as well. The views of the Hudson River are quite amazing from this spot.

Beautiful place to visit, nice city, friendly people, great pizza 😋👍, nice local coffee shop, great view river, nice park to relaxing and meditating 🙏😊
I walked from Peekskill train station to the entral city about 15 minutes. Having lunch at the city and relaxing at the coffee shop. It was a great escape from the busy NYC. it takes 1hr 20min from Grand Central and costs only $13 one way off peak.
The City have many potential for tourist attractions. I should try hiking, trekking, or camping near Peekskill City. There's a mountain and park surrounding, hope the city has tourist information and more tourist attractions to visit 😊🙏. You have this potential, Peekskill 🙏🙏🙏

Great space, fun and interesting collection. What a gem to have up here!

beautiful park! loads of great trails and vistas

I think this place is nice! Although the kids there aren't my cousin was just going on the slides and some kid started cursing at him, I know this has nothing to do with the park but parent's should really take better care of their parent's there is just way to much profanity and bad things, But the park itself is great with hiking trails and a playground, Below the playground there is a turf field to play soccer and football.

Nice park, trails are a bit confusing but okay for a stroll

Great range to train and shoot. Plenty of ranges for various calibers, pistols and rifles. Range instructors and staff are awesome. Plenty of parking and reasonable range fees.

I want to t3sch my son tennis 🎾 at the city. I live and pay my tables and have my company, where I played tennis with friends when I was more young...Unfortunately, they are renovated, destroying, fixing the area where the tennis courts are, it being many months with this project, bot sure what is going on.
Last weekends we were lucky yo found an open gate door to get to the concrete court, what u think was the best; I teach my son how to play for many hours and we decide to come back in 2 weeks, when we went back, the one we went before was lock amd we found the artificial grass was open. Of course, the field was. It's as good as the concrete, but we played any way.
I wish it is a sign in the 2 ways to get in, explain it what the city of Peekskill have in mind about leaving 2 of the concrete courts close by fence and no explain when we will have them back.
Hope we can go next weekend with my son to keep teaching him and don't find cage door locks

We went there in the afternoon, The temperature was a little bit high. So we did not get enough enthusiasm to explore all the area, sat under the tree and enjoyed the spectacular view from there.

Small park but the views make up for it. Park faces hudson river and bear mountain. Parking is free to all. Very quiet so it's a nice spot to just relax.

Beautiful use of space. The exhibit were well placed and very interesting. The staff was very friendly. I recommend this to everyone.

Had a great day walking here.

Much pricier for admission than it warrants. A worthwhile selection but the cost stymies return visits or guesting first timers.

This is a great place to come and chill. Nice little walking path, near the train and ice cream near by. Beautiful sunsets and friendly park goers! Nice to see the kids out and playing too 😌

Great park. Excellent to bring the kids fishing, play sports, or just sit down on a bench!!!

This is an amazing river trail that has so much to see and enjoy. This park as well as the surrounding area is deep in history including manufacturing and river history. The views are amazing at any time of the day. This should be a place on anyone's list to visit

Expensive but great addition to Peekskill town.

Interesting and unique pieces from local artists and more well know and interesting exhibits. Not very large but just enough to spend a few hours. It was a nice visit with some cool modern art pieces. The only thing I would say is the entry price should be a little lower. It was empty when we arrived which might account for the high entry price. Open only on sat and Sunday with limited hours. It was something different and unique to do on a sat.

Gem of a local museum that shows a fascinating slice of history. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Opening hours are limited, so check ahead of time.

Beautiful views. Nice quite park to sit and collect your thoughts. Also a great place to walk. Close to walking path.

Had a great day here in Peekskill. This place has so many awesome clearly marked trails. I was charged 10 dollars for parking for not having county park pass. If you have a Westchester County Pass you are charged 5 bucks.

Went here to check out the sunset and I was not disappointed. You get an amazing view of Bear Mountain looking over Hudson River. You also get a good look at the piers along the Peekskill Bay. It's a really nice spot to picnic and relax. There's also space for taking amazing pictures.

Quick stop but not much to see, very quiet here!

I'm an event planner for a Meetup Group & thought it would be fun to do an "Explore Peekskill" tour. We started with a visit to the Peekskill Museum, followed by a walk at Riverfront Park then dinner at Taormina Trattoria located next to the park. My group of 15 was so impressed with the collection of interesting artifacts housed in this museum. Rooms with period furniture, architecture of the home, old stove collection & many items to view on the history of this beautiful area. It truly is a hidden gem. I would highly recommend visiting when in the area!

Slice of life in Peekskill past. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Locals should certainly check it out.

Priceless items kept in a beautiful small intimate historical home with dedicated volunteers who want to extend their love for Peekskill history which is very rich.

The museum was a great one indeed
There are full of graet art work
I love it

A beautiful spot to walk, run or just sit and talk as you admire the hills and the trains traveling up and down both sides of the Hudson. It is also a place to spy eagles, hawks and herons. It is usually a peaceful and quiet place to be.

This is a great place to hike, especially during the week, when you have the place almost all to yourself. Works best to have hiking shoes (lots of rocks). Climbs are not too steep, at least from the trails I've seen. The Dickey Brook trail has a nice waterfall.

Overall it was a nice first visit to the park. Beautiful, nice area with picnic tables, and seemingly many tails. However, I really wish there was a better trail map online or that the trails were marked better. We were worried about getting lost so sort of skirted the parking lot.

Place is serene, I expected it to be packed on a Saturday afternoon, to my surprise it was quite empty. Bring long pants and long sleeves, mosquitoes are on the annoying side. There's plenty of picnic areas and tables spread across the park area and around the playground. I did the yellow/orange trail with wife and kid, it was okay, but a little too solitary and too quiet, which was kinda my fault, as it was past 5:30pm. Aside from that, I see myself coming here regularly, perfect for some quiet time, be it alone or accompanied, for reading a book, drawing, or meditating.

Gorgeous pier amd park. People there are very friendly amd pleasant. You can enjoy the scenery amd fi.d shade under the weeping willows. Amazing g time there!

Beautiful and peaceful. Pretty hot today, but nice breeze on pier.

Beautiful park that offers a great day for families. There are playing fields; hiking trails; picnic areas; beautiful lakes with ducks and geese. If you're into photography there are excellent nature shots. Parking is available in various places, and it's not a big walk from Metro North Station. Town of Peekskill by the Metro North Station has some very nice restaurants, and the park on the Hudson is very nice.

Nice little walking path. Beautiful views. Pier seemed a bit sketchy at first, but was sturdy once on it.

Depew Park-Peekskill, NY, is a great park to visit. Has easy to intermediate hiking trails, and very nice picnic areas with beautiful lakes, and playgrounds for kids. Park is maintained very well. In Peekskill there are nice residential areas, and by the RR Station nice restaurants and a nice park on the Hudson.

Glad to have had the opportunity to return. So much history of the Hudson Valley to be explored.

Nice little museum with a guided tour

The views here is so breath taking and calming. Lots to do in this area as well, my personal favorites is walking the walkway to Peekskill or sitting on one of the benches enjoying the scenery.

Beautiful place, amazing place for fishing, crab etc. So many parking spots available and its free. Best spot for sunset. Can see bear mountain and bridge from here. Trail is maintained properly. Also have places to sit. Good for biking, walking, watching sunset, and take some photos. Beautiful views

Beautiful views and amazing place for fishing.

Beautiful scenic views from this pier on the Hudson River. Easily accessible from the train station, the trail, and from the Holiday Inn across the street. They revitalized the park area and it’s really great.

This is a well designed, lovely park adjacent to the Peekskill High School athletic complex. There are intersecting hiking or strolling trails. We are mobility challenged, but found it easy to walk on the wide trail around the lake. There are a couple of slight grades, but these were short and could be negotiated in a wheelchair, though wide wheels are recommended. Some spots have rocks or tree roots sticking out, but there are usually smooth detours around the rough spots. Smooth-topped boulders or wooden benches are along the trails should you need a rest or just want to enjoy the view. For the more energetic, there are steeper trails winding through the woods. The park is well lit, and there are tennis and basketball courts. Fishing is permitted in the lake. I've walked the dog at midnight. It was lit, there were other dog walkers, there were guys playing basketball under the lights, and a leisurely cop car rolled through. It's a local gem.

A very nice small museum with a rich history of the town and the people that live there and the businesses that have been there over the years as well.

Great small city park. You feel like the city is so far away. I hope City of Peekskill would consider using some grant money to put up some better signage on trails and promote it. It's a great spot to wonder off and enjoy the fresh air!

A small but great museum with a lot of history. I can't wait to go back next year to see what's added and changed out.

I went to see the museum Friday the 27th. I rang the bell not knowing weather it was open or if that was how to enter. Turns out they were closed for install. A very rude woman came out from the back and Scolded me. I hope to go back after install and enjoy the museum. I became a member this year because the venue looks amazing and its so close to where we live in Beacon. The location is great and they have parking. I recommend stopping into the museum.

Peekskill is my hometown and I never knew of its rich Revolution War era history. This museum is a treasure!

A must stop along the Lincoln trail of history!

Very scenic and secluded park. I didn't find more than half a dozen people in this huge park. Very good for vloggers who would want to have a quiet time away from the city to shoot.
This park serves everyone. It has tables, benches, barbecue, playground for children etc. We spent a couple of hours and it was blissful.

Worth the visit. Very well done small museum.

I went for the Lincoln Remembrance event which very well done. The museum itself has a wealth of exhibits and artifacts of Lincoln and his times. Because of the event it was very crowded so I will more closely examine the museum another time.

Wonderful museum with an eclectic collection. A local treasure soon to gain broader attention. A deep look into the human form taking on many manifestations as interpreted by artists from around the world.

Great small museum with innovative shows! Wonderful place to stop on the Hudson near DIA: Beacon. The latest group show had international group of artists you would expect to see in the Whitney Biennial or Art Basel. Side note: Peekskill has a great brewery (Peekskill brewery) a great restaurant (Birdsall House) and great used book store (Bruised Apple Books).

The couple who owns this gallery has made a very good effort to bring culture and art to the Peekskill community. Their instillations are always interesting and thought provoking. This latest exhibit was the collaboratin of two curators who obviously had a feel for one another and their decisions worked well for their intended audience.

91 degrees in the shade. Its too hot. The cool breeze from the Hudson river helps to enjoy this park. Bring water and snacks. This place is good for reading books.

A great piece of history tucked away in Peekskill. It may not look like much from the outside, but you are in for a treat once you enter inside. A veritable treasure trove of Lincoln and Lincoln era artifacts await you. Worth a visit.

Just a great small museum with authentic artifacts. Nice.

Great place to fish for Striped Bass. Also The Hudson River Walkway located in the Park to the Peekskill River front is Recommended.
