Stunning beach, and one of the best spots for sunset.

Possibly the most intact remnants of WW2 German Atlantic Wall. This beach would have been considered as most likely beach assault location and as such has concrete wall and bunker systems / fortifications along entire beach with Artillery batteries in hills to NW providing support.

Great fishing spots. Plenty of WW2 gun implacements. Beautiful views and cliff walks.

Excellent views of jersey coastline. And good view of Guernsey, Sark, Herm and french coast.
This bunker complex is only open about four days a year, despite being restored.
It's also quite dangerous in places and not suitable for young children. For example, the safety rail at the top of the steps down to one of the ammunition stores is broken and in a dangerous condition. Good luck if you fall down there...
The information boards are also badly crazed and difficult to read, or printed in a very difficult to read hazy font.
Very disappointing given the importance of this complex, and that it's been restored. Please open it properly and staff it, so that we all might learn, and hopefully not repeat the errors of the past...

A massive long beach mostly hard sand, dogs allowed to run free up to 10.30 and after 18.00 other times dogs on leads.

Nice place, I was going around on the buses exploring for the day and got off here as I had 20 minutes to wait for the next bus. Shame there were no birds when I was there but there was some interesting information

Really beautiful spot and the end (or start) of the walk from Devils Hole. I'd personally end here if you can, as views are much nicer

Lovely location with great views good paths. Height differences aren't too bad. Wonderful to see the choughs flying back and forth. Well worth walking up to their aviary. Also saw a wheatear and a peregrine falcon. Just a pity that there are no bus stops closer than a 30min walk.

This is a must visit venue for everybody who wants to know about the occupation. It's totally fascinating with lots of German Military hardware on display, what's even more amazing is the amount of defensive architecture the Germans installed over the entire island in 5 years a guide told me there are another 18 tunnels which are not open to the public. Nice pleasant Cafeteria too.

We caught the no 28 bus from the bus station to get there, and there's a short walk up a hill for the tickets, café, shop and the tunnel.

We were a little disappointed because we were not made aware of the audio guide they had available and felt we missed out on a lot of information. That was an extra £4 on top of your ticket of £19.

Anyway, it takes approx 1½ hours to go around the tunnels. (Perhaps longer if you have the audio guide).

It's described as a "hospital", but of all the exhibits, there was only one small section set up as a small hospital ward.

It can be chilly down there, so wear a coat.

I learnt quite a lot during my visit to The War Tunnels, however they need to take a serious look at the speakers as it is difficult to hear with the fans going. Also the soldier snoring could be heard in Guernsey!!! Way too loud. I think it's really quite expensive for what it is, needs a few quid spending on it and some toilets down there!! Think children would be very bored so it's a grown up thing! Also wrap up as it is absolutely freezing!!

Very informative and educational! The museum is well established and smartly designed to tell a nice story of the history.

Worth coming if you are visiting Jersey!

Can easily spend 1.5-2h

Superb. Wonderfully done. Exhibits are so interesting and easy to follow. Thoroughly recommend it
What an experience. Peacefully located out of the way in Jersey, this was our first visit to the War Tunnels. Atmospheric, educational and some excellent museum style exhibits. Smart, well looked after, with a lovely coffee and croissant after. The shop was well stocked and managed to get some toys for the children. Definitely worth a visit.
Incredible place to visit. Moving experience of Jersey during the 5 years of German occupation. Stories of the islanders and how they coped with the occupation makes you think how life really was at that time.

Vast length of sandy beach facing west, but thecsea was as flat as a pancake the day we visited.
It's quite windy as it faces west and there is a long distance to the nearest land mass.

We went to the jersey botanical garden first and on the way we saw Howard davis park .
It’s located not far from the commercial center and downtown, in walkable distance.
It’s huge and free, with vast lawn and playground.
After visit, we walked around and found a fabric store and bought my favorite succulent bucket and fabric.
Lovely park and the Allied War Cemetery is lovely with its begonias.
Some unexpected succulents and tropical plants. Well worth a visit.

An absolutely stunning place! I found it quite but accident but was in awe of the nature that was there, lots of birds and lizards! Also, the place is full of history from the war, with so much to learn and see the place is definitely worth a visit. Personally, I was there a couple of hours enjoying all that Noirmont had to offer.

A beautiful hide with many windows and informational posters, a great place to watch for waterfowl and predator birds.
Lovely park, though some of the gardeners can be rather prickly and rude, especially those in the honorary police.

A lot of unnecessary tree felling has happened recently, presumably before the new legislation, these trees are home to the red squirrels in the park!

Events in the park never seem to be advertised particularly well, strange considering there have been new boards put up at every entrance which could easily accommodate a poster or flyer.

Biggest beach in the channel islands, mostly sandy. 3 good brasserie type eateries. Oh, and if you are into it, brilliant for all types of surf activities.

Nice and peaceful place. Pretty quiet with the occasional jogger and dog walker. Had read about this place prior to visiting and made a point to go and see it. I wanted to see the graves and flowers in there, but as it was mid October when I visited it was the wrong time of the year. Spent about half hour wandering around the place.

This is a beautiful spot to watch a sunset or even just have a pic nick. Wide ocean expanses with views of other Islands. If you get tired of the nature (what's wrong with you?) you can look out to your right and watch the Jersey Granite yard.

Out standing views, mixed with haunting history. Plenty of notices explaining the history mean you can spend a fair bit of time learning, its a pitty the structures are not open more i would happly pay to explore them.
Completely under rated spot, Jersey should market it more.
Without knowing it is there, you would completely miss this from the road. Interesting piece of Jersey history.
The views are spectacular

Great views, pleasant walk, then step steps down to secluded beach; check beach café opening times before making the arduous descent.
Wonderful wide beach, great for a bracing walk. Cafes spaced out nicely, the best one has to be Le Braye.

Love this park. Stunning! Great place for picnics, hayfever and the odd thieving seagull aside! Really wonderful grounds, trees and flowers stunning and and the Memorial Garden he's lovely. Children's park, public toilets and a really nice restaurant set in lovely grounds all here. The odd surprise band on an evening occasionally crops up for good measure!

Great history of the German occupation & building of artillery positions, bunkers & accommodation. Well cared for by the Jersey people who are keen to tell the history of the island. We rode our bikes from St Helier to St Aubin then up a very steep hill to Noirmont. Fabulous views from this high viewpoint. Very interesting visit.

We always go to Noirmont and it never ceases to be an amazing visit. For just £3 you get to see the inside of one of the finest, if not the finest, bunkers that were part of the Atlantic Wall. If that wasn't enough then you have the amazing sea views which are truly breathtaking

This is a great stop off on a tour. This is how I found it. There is nothing here though except the sites. Eg toilet etc. So don’t expect any facilities. The views though are unmissable and a must see if you’re visiting jersey at all. Take the time to look around well as some of the memorials etc are not immediately visible from the place you park your car/bus.
