This is one of my favorite parks. From the beach, the pavilion, playground and the birds on the pond. We love it here.

Great park, right on Lake Erie. They have a beach, picnic, concession, and boating area. We do a lot of boondocking and asked about staying overnight. We were very grateful that that was allowed in the boating area. Absolutely beautiful way to spend the evening and morning.

A nice park next to Lake Erie. There is a large parking lot, a boat ramp and stairs that you can use to get to the water's edge

Lakeshore Park: A Slice of Paradise

If you're looking for the perfect day out with family, friends, or even your furry companion, look no further than Lakeshore Park! Our recent visit was an absolute delight, and I'm already counting down the days until we can go back.

First off, the adventurous playground is every kid's dream and an excellent excuse for parents to unleash their inner child. Who knew I'd be scaling ropes and zipping down slides again? The playground alone is worth the visit!

The beach is nothing short of spectacular—beautiful, clean, and just begging for sandcastle competitions and splash fights. And when you need a break from the sun, the giant pavilion, complete with porch swings, offers the perfect shady retreat. Swaying gently while watching the waves? Yes, please!

Hungry? The large concession area has you covered with all the snacks and treats you could wish for. I mean, where else can you get a lion drinking fountain? Hydration has never been so majestic.

As for cleanliness, this park is pristine. Not a speck of litter in sight, and the bathrooms looked nice from the outside (didn't venture in, but hey, they looked promising!). And despite our quiet visit, I can totally see this place buzzing with activity on a hot summer's day or during a gorgeous sunset. It's a people magnet, for sure.

Bonus points for being dog-friendly! Our pup had a blast sniffing every blade of grass and trying to make friends with everyone.

In short, Lakeshore Park is a gem. We loved every minute and will definitely be back again and again.

Went here to get some late photos of the Northern Lights. Nice evening walk on a clean beach. Plenty of parking.
This place is amazing! We spent the afternoon picnicking and beach glass hunting. We even chased some gulls. A day for the books!

Good memories here. I captured some incredible underwater shots of a native Carpsucker or “Quillback” here, using a submersible rov. This section of the Lake is a huge sand flat with massive submerged boulders.

We just moved to Ohio and came across this place and loved it here. We had no idea it was so much like an ocean. It was a clean park, had a play structure for children, and was beautiful. We visited on a cold, windy, day and were reminded on home (Oregon Coast) and just fell in love. They already had lights up in preparation for their Christmas thing they do and we plan on going up there for that. We'll definitely go back there to explore more during other parts of the year.

My grandson had a great time here as well as myself. I would definitely visit again if in the area.

Nice park. Boardwalk all the way down the beach which makes access to the beach easy. Lots of birds in the area, but they can be enjoyable to watch.

Nice beach, little rocky, but expected as Geneva is the same. They do have lifeguards during Memorial thru labor day. Also a great place to find sea glass.

Okay so first time here and we absolutely loved it. The people we came across were friendly and many locals shared stories. Of course, we searched for the beach glass that washes up. It was a lot of fun and the area was quite beautiful, no trash or debris.

What an awesome place to go! Finished my race here on the beach and it was very clean and a safe place for everyone. There is a large parking lot, picnic area and bathrooms so you won't need to leave for anything. I wish I could have stayed longer to walk the area.
If you are in the area take the time to stop down at the lake and check it out and see how clean it is!

Very beautiful park. The beach is clean with the exception of some very interesting pieces of driftwood that was intensionally left for aesthetics. They have a lot of fun playground equipment for the kiddies, picnic tables and a pavilion. They have a short but nice hiking trail surounded by bamboo and a wildlife preserve within the bluffs. It all depends on you but I'd say this beach has a lot of potential to help build lasting memories. I would recommend checking it out even if you only have a couple minutes to spare.
