The tower in itself is not much, but the surroundings are. Beautiful garden below with water fountains and great place to relax. An oasis in the middle of the city, great alternative for children to run around.

Drenched in history and charm, this particular landmark stands out amongst the rest. Every corner is aesthetically crafted, with the elegant fountains stealing the show. My visit here was nothing short of magical, a perfect haven to unwind and bask in the breathtaking scenery.

🤩Wonderful place to spend time with loved ones 🤩The water fountain is really refreshing to look at. Lots of space for kids to play. The vine canopy side trails are very useful for a bit of relaxation, and of course, we took lots of photos and enjoyed the great views.

This place is so beautiful. Especially right now in the spring season. Located at a beautiful central spot. Lovely place for some photography and self portraits! The garden at the back is gorgeous on a sunny day.
The most important landmark in Mannheim. The entire area is creatively designed, the fountains are a sheer delight. It's very near to the central station. It can be reached by foot although tram services exists.

Ich mag grundsätzlich keine eingesperrte Tiere. Daher kann ich vielleicht noch drüber weg gesehen daß es da kleine Vögel gibt. Wenig Verständnis habe ich für die Pfauen, den Adler, die Eulen und Uhu's.
Wer damit kein Problem hat findet es sicher toll.

Sehr schöner frei zugänglicher Park zum verweilen. abschalten und entspannen. ☺️
Der Eintritt ist demensprechend auch frei. Sehr große Gehege mit vielen Tieren. Für die Kids gibt es einen schönen Spielplatz. Angrenzend gibt es auch eine Grillhütte, die man auch für private Zwecke nutzen kann.

Very beautiful park where they have some animals/birds, eatery options, children's playground and lot more. I recommend you to visit this park if you're in Mannheim.
Our visit was during the BOGA garden show in Mannheim. Although in the closing week, there are still lots of plants and other attractions available for viewing. A must-see when in region.
Very big beautiful Park. Need lot's of time to go through everything. There are even Chinese Tea House inside, funicular, little zoo. Day ticket cost 28€. Even family ticket you can buy. Park is open until october

Es wurde mit dem rabattierten Eintrittspreis geworben - denn gu t es nur online nicht an der Kasse um luisenpark. Fail! Und dann läuft man erst mal Richtung 🚠. Es gibt auch einen Bus Bzw Bahn (jede Haltestelle 1€) abzocke !
An der Gondel standen wir ewig. Vor lauter bollerwagen mussten Ich und meine Eltern getrennt fahren.

Really nice place for a family walk.
28€ pp is kinda expensive but worth it. Cable car is a must and it is inclusive in the price, gondola ride looked fun but 6€ pp is kinda expensive. Green houses and Chinese garden were nice, the park is well maintained except the butterfly garden, which had 5 butterflies and one of them was dead, I find it embarrassment for the park. Nice birds. I didnt see farm animals bec when I arrived it was kinda. Pacifiers tree is interesting idea

Hauptattraktion der BuGa, aber zu Fuß so weit ab, dass es für mich nicht das erste war, was ich unbedingt mal sehen wollte.
Ein rostigen Panorama-Steg, immerhin barrierefrei zugänglich. Es fehlen Mülleimer, Raucher finden aber immerhin einen Aschenbecher. Ich frage mich allerdings, warum dieser so Priorität hat...

Nix zum Streicheln hier heute (23 Aug), war zu heiß oder falsche advertisment. Nett zum spazieren aber nicht für den Preis. Die Seilbahn war es wert, mehr nicht
Amazing experience for kids n adults alike with a great assortment of kids play areas but also nature lover friendly exhibition of birds n animals with the highlights being the flamingo park and penguin pool. The Seilbahn in the park takes to the other park with BUGA 23 exhibition - some amazing flower showcase and a great vibe for a perfect day trip

The river has big fish 🐠, boat ⛵ you can go around. A lot of things you can enjoy. So any of you guys want to have peace, or alone time or with a group of students, teacher or whatever any big group come to the beautiful of luisenpark. Absolutes No-Go! Ich hätte heulen können als ich die armen Pinguine in ihrem winzigen Gehege mit Dutzenden Schaulustigen davor gesehen habe. Ich kann nicht glauben, dass so etwas erlaubt ist! Und dann schreiben Sie auch noch stolz auf Ihrer Webseite, das Gehege sei vergrößert worden. Einfach schockierend! Auch die Vögel in ihren winzigen Gehegen mit wenig bis gar keiner Rückzugsmöglichkeit, tun mir unglaublich Leid. Die Tierhaltung hier sollte dringend beendet werden und wenn die Betreiber ehrlich zu sich selbst sind und nicht nur ans Geld denken, wissen sie das auch!

This is a beautiful park area with benches throughout the park. Some benches have better shade than others. The tower itself is nice, but the fountains are really what ties the park together. I'd recommend checking it out if you're in the city, even for a little stroll.

Die Idee ist ganz nett und hat durch ihre Platzierung am Rande des Geländes auch den Aspekt Nachhaltigkeit berücksichtigt. Der See wird uns erhalten bleiben. Die Idee, eine Ruhezone zu gestalten und den Steg ein zu binden ist such gut angedacht. Wirkt leider aber dennoch ein wenig lieblos

Ich fand gerade das Spinelli-Gelände total spannend (und auch entspannend), wie die alten Kasernengebäude in die BUGA integriert wurden und gerade das nicht alles so fertig und perfekt wirkt...
Der lange Tisch mit verschiedensten Stühlen für alle 193 Vereinte Nationen gefiel mir sehr.
Die Fahrt mit der Seilbahn ist wunderbar und dann taucht man in den schattigen und immer schon geliebten Luisenpark ein, was für ein schöner Kontrast. Wie man das alles mit dem Tagesticket schaffen soll, ist mir allerdings ein Rätsel... Ich freue mich über meine Dauerkarte und komme sicher noch sehr oft 🥰

A very beautiful park concept. The area of the park is huge and is packed with beautiful views, information on city planning, sustainability, energy, and environment politics, food and beverage stands and cafes, etc. I spent 7 hours there with my family and we didn't see everything, so we're going there again. Definitely recommend to go there before end of October.
Die Buga bietet ein immenses Angebot, vor allem für Familien und Kinder. Mit unzähligen Spielplätzen, Erlebnisangeboten und Workshops ist die Auswahl überwältigend. Man weiß kaum, womit man anfangen soll. Ein Tag reicht kaum aus, um alles zu erkunden.
Besonders beeindruckend ist das Angebot für Familien und Kinder. Am Rand des Spinelli-Geländes gibt es eine Reihe von Spielplätzen, die auf verschiedene Altersgruppen zugeschnitten sind. Es gibt einen Spielplatz für die Kleinen, einen riesigen Netzspielplatz, viele kleine Spielplätze und sogar einen Bereich, in dem Kinder das Gelände umpflügen können. An jedem Spielplatz gibt es Sitzmöglichkeiten und Sonnenschirme für die Eltern. Auch Trinkwasserstellen und Toiletten sind in der Nähe vorhanden, falls man etwas vergessen hat.
Spinelli ist ein komplett neues Parkgelände, während der Luisenpark bereits seit langer Zeit besteht und in der Mitte kernsaniert wurde. Im Luisenpark wurden die Beete erneuert und aufgefrischt. Die Parkmitte ist das Ergebnis von drei Jahren intensiver Bauarbeiten und beeindruckt sehr.
Auf Spinelli wurde ein versiegeltes Gelände komplett umgestaltet und neu angelegt. Es mag anfangs wie Brachland aussehen, aber es erfüllt wichtige Funktionen wie die Belüftung der Stadt Mannheim und dient sogar als Lebensraum für Hasen. Wenn man sich umdreht, entdeckt man eine Vielzahl von Gartenanlagen, die von kreativen Landschaftsgärtnern gestaltet wurden. Es gibt sogar Pools, die tatsächlich genutzt werden können. Es wurde ein Wingert angelegt, Nutzpflanzen wurden gepflanzt und am Rand entstand ein richtiges Biotop. Je weiter man eintaucht, desto mehr gibt es zu entdecken. Es ist wirklich beeindruckend.
Es gibt auch zwei Türme, die erklommen werden können, um die Aussicht zu genießen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist der größere Turm in der Nähe der Hallen, von dem aus man einen Blick in nördliche Richtung werfen sollte. Besonders faszinierend sind die Sandsteinfiguren, die tatsächlich die Originalstücke sind und bis zu 200 Jahre alt sind.
Der Biergarten bietet schnellen und effizienten Service. Innerhalb von 15 Minuten kann man für eine Gruppe von 10 Personen Getränke und Essen bestellen, was wirklich rekordverdächtig ist. Ein besonderer Bereich, der Streetfood-Bereich in der Blumenhalle, ist besonders empfehlenswert.

Best place in town 😍
Long stretches of land completely empty, just senseless walking for kilometers. The first buildings only for food (long waiting with only 1 cashier - looked like a student). Long walks to see simple, unimpressive things, new trees planted on artificial rows and too many ugly projects motivated by "climate ideas". Very expensive parking many kilometers away, at a flat rate of 9.5 Euros even if you just stay an hour! Extreme dependency on shuttles.
I give 3 stars because the Luisenpark is reached with the gondola/ticket of BUGA and the Luisenpark is an amazing space all-year round. Forget BUGA, go for the Luisenpark only!!

Wir waren zuerst im Bereich Luisenpark dort war es sehr schön, danach mit der Seilbahn zum Spinelli Gelände, hier war es nur teilweise schön speziell in den Blumenhallen. Vieles wirkte noch nicht fertig. Zum Thema Gastronomie Speisen und Getränke in großer Auswahl, allerdings sehr viel Personal mit schlechten oder gar keinen Deutsch Kenntnissen. Fazit es gibt noch einige Baustellen, trotzdem hat sich der Besuch gelohnt. Die 5 Sterne nur für den Bereich im Luisenpark.

It's a good walk through the nature, BUT there is no maps or directions there so you don't know what is where or where you are, and where is the exit, and despite the wide space, they have only 3 kinds of animals there, so it's kind of boring.

There are many activities to choose from: animal reserve and bird reserve close by, parks for kids and many paths to explore.
Echte afzetterij. 21 euro voor mij en mijn kinderen aan inkom en bijna alles is afgesloten wegens werken. Zijn geld helemaal niet waard. Gondel, dierentuin, plantentuin, minicars niets van dat alles was mogelijk. Zwaar teleurgesteld. Binnen ook trampoline, treintje nog bij te betalen. Neem cash mee.
Die Gartenanlage ist sehr schön und es gibt reichlich Platz für Kinder und Familien zum Picknicken und Spielplätze. Jedoch muss man ein Eintritt bezahlen. In dem Park gibt es dann noch weitere Aktivitäten wie z.b mit der Gondel fahren oder Trampolin springen für Kinder. Dort muss man dann extra den Eintritt nochmal bezahlen. Eigentlich gibt es auch ein Streichelzoo aber es waren kaum Tiere da und es gab auch keine Betreuung. Somit konnte man nicht zu den Tieren rein. Alles was wir sahen waren Vögel Arten und paar Ziegen, Schweine. Außerdem war fast in jeder Ecke eine Baustelle. Und die Kunden Toiletten waren sehr dreckig. Also ich finde dies lohnt sich nur wenn man dort den ganzen Tag auf der Wiese neben den Spielplätzen verbringen möchte. Sonst nicht.

I felt sadness there. The locked up birds was sitting quietly and their food, the dead mouses was everywhere. And there was a lot of them trust me. I do not know why the birds didn't eat them maybe because there was too much or they don't like the dead prey.

I do not know if they birds what rescued from somewhere or they were wild animals and they were catched. But it's a mixed feeling. That was good to see them but they just locked in. I do not know what to say....

You have three floors here, one entire section of ground floor is dedicated for people with disabilities,along with another section for Wudu,
On the entrance itself you are asked to write your details and show COVID-19 Proofs, after that you can go inside to pack your Shoes in Small Polybags which can be taken with you where you pray or can be kept just outside the Praying Hall.

Sadly, I found this place to be a bit depressing. The cool architectural structure was closed and in major disrepair. All the walkways and stairways are blocked off.
Yes, the green areas with ducks, bamboo, ponds, etc were beautiful, but I was really excited to see the structure up close and it wasn't possible. The food stand and mini golf area was really run down. Also important to note that not every entrance can be used if you don't already have a card. It's a huge park, definitely bring a stroller or wagon if kids aren't big walkers. We didn't make it to the animals. Adults were luckily only €3.50 and my young children were free. Parking was free.

Good place to go for a walk. Would be interesting for people who like to see wild pigs in the forest.

I come from India. Have been to majestic mosques like Jama Masjid and Buland Darwaza. But this is something different. Mordern Turkish architecture with those dimly lit lights looks so fascinating.
Have to say, everything about the turks is amazing. Also, I visited the mosque during corona times and the way they managed the crowd seemed fantastic.

Nice place in the middle of the forest. No entrance fee. A lot of birds to see.
Been to this nice park in the city today (June 2020). There is an entrance fee of 3.50€ for adults. Year ticket is also possible. There are some farm animals, nice flowers (mainly roses), ponds, and trees around. Enjoyed it.
Great place for a walk, bike ride or even for the little one’s. The playground will definitely tire the kids out. 😉

Park/Zoo/Running track. The animals are pig, goat and cows in a large open place. They entry is free (you don't buy any tickets).

Nice place for a day trip with the family. Free entry makes it a great activity when the family has to watch the budget. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Many cows, goats and pigs. They have a lot of space to walk around and look healthy. Not a petting zoo, you cannot pet the animals. Some goats may come to the gates though. They are very curious

Super place for walking, big playing area for kid's, Vögelpark and few animals it's really nice place for Sunday, you can eat fast food or go to Restorane , it's all in there.
Definitely worth a visit. Enough places to visit around here. Eating, animals, bird zoo, and nice nature. Very good. Oh and miniature golf. Fun! 🙌
