Lovely place for one to contemplate
Fantastic location well maintained
Well organised for the Anzac Memorial
Perfect for a play and a swim. Park across the road at Australia Fair. $6.90 all day. We were here for a couple of hours. Great coffee at the kiosk.
Not sure where the first pic in the photos came from . Great park on the broad water . Plenty of activities for the kids including play ground and jumping pad as well as BBQ's ,grassy area's,cafe and fishing from the foreshore. All within walking distance of the Anzac monument.
Top spot for an outdoor concert or music day......in the right conditions.
Relatively easy to get to via the light rail network.

The parklands and summer go hand in hand if ur a local then like me and my family the parklands is the place to be

Wow, I love this park. The idea for a family picnic next to the beach and the park was amazing.
Can easily find a quiet patch to spend the day. However, all the play areas and rock pools are always jam-packed, even during the week.

Beautiful beach park. And lots of activities around. Went several times. Wonderful year end family friendly party and fireworks.
Such an amazing space for kids. While the kids are safe playing on the jumping pillow, parents can sit back and relax.

Toast & Vegemite on the bbq, with a cuppa....watching the kids loving an amazing/extensive park.. all sorts of terrific fun... Nice! Parking yeah well just $1.35 per 1/2 an hour.
This is an interesting place for everyone, especially families with children. The kids may play all day long without getting bored.
The parking lot is spacious, and the restrooms are quite clean.

One of my absolute favorite places to go for a run or leisurely walk. The Parklands stretch for quite a while so you can get some great mileage in. Lots of open green space, the gardens are well-kept and generally not too busy (unless there is an event/function going on). Relax by the water, lay on the grass or sit somewhere shady and just chill. There's also an outdoor gym which is fun. It's dog-friendly (on leash), and there are poop-bags available if you forget to bring some. Keep left on the paths and be mindful of other people. If you go on a weekend it'll be busier than during the week. Children always seem to be having a world of fun - and there are lots of things for them to do (playground, water park, netted-off swimming area etc). Lots of fun for the whole family all round.

We went to the Northern playground which was great for all ages. There's a cafe near by for some hotchips and an ice cream
Beautiful park, miss loved to play and ride the pedal train! Great spot by the water, close to toilets and amenities.
Great place for kids to play in the warmth, bring a hat and swimmer they will have hours of fun here. There was always a lifeguard patrolling too
Absolute paradise
Lovely spot, my 2 year old had a great time here, we had a picnic in the shade, came on a Thursday about lunch time and it was reasonably quiet. Just a short walk to the park.
You may have seen these Jumping/Bouncing Pillows at expensive caravan parks, but this one is free for everyone to use. It's in the Broadwater Parklands at Southport. The kids loved it. 👌🤩
There are toilets nearby and it's not too far from a coffee shop, so you can sit and enjoy a coffee while they bounce. But there's no age limit if you want to bounce too. 😜

Excellent park to bring the kids dogs etc very large park for picnics BBQs all amenities.

Beautiful place to take the kids on a beautiful day. Good facilities, plenty of parking - but you have to pay. Lots of choice of things to do - play equipment, beach, rock pools or kick a ball around. Lots of places to sit with a picnic lunch or a cafe.
Stumbled upon this perfect little hidden gem whilst passing through GC. It was perfect for our little one to cool down in whilst we got some fish and chips!
Amazing place for kids of all ages !!!! My 2.5 year old and 9month both spent hours here splashing around. Plenty of room for everyone with picnic tables, shaded picnic areas and chairs surrounding the water play areas, a on duty lifeguard aswell as Cafe/ toilets near by. Couldn't have picked a better spot for a play and to cool off.
Great outdoor playground for toddlers and the family, spacious, clean and safe. A lot of activities and plenty of toilets around the area.
The kids love this pillow. Would be great if there was a second pillow for younger kids, sometimes the older children (some adults too) are too boisterous for the little ones.

Love walking along here everytime we visit but this time also took the ferry to see the Gold Coast waterways from a new perspective. Great to have easy access from the parklands. Fantastic activities for kids here too - what a great outdoor space for all ages.

Just spent the afternoon here with friends and their kids, my 3 year old nephew absolutely had a ball 😁 all for free too! The only thing we paid for was the food and drinks (pictured) from the restaurant close by which were fab. Bring your own picnic and its a great day out for minimal dollars👏
Nice spot to view the Broadwater, relax, take a few pictures or hop on the ferry.
Excellent water park with some shades. Fountains, waterfalls and sea animals are all part of the fun. My son loves it so much.
Love the new upgraded play centre in Mitchell park. The best playground within Southport and surfers paradise compared to the bouncy pillow etc. on the other end of the parkland. Absolutely amazing parklands with fantastic views of the beach. It has everything kids love with great shades. Beautiful lighting at night too. A must visit!!!

Great little beach for the kids to play in the water, nice calm and shallow water.
One part has a little jetty out in the water that you can swim to and jump off of.
The other part has the GC Aqua park which is $25 for a 50 minute session per person.
Very close to Australia fair, plenty of parking and facilities.

Reasonable clean. Too many fishers occupying the seating areas. Nice walk at night. Well lit.

Excellent water play area for toddlers. Shallow flowing water with fountains, features, pools and waterfall. Surrounds include seating, shade umbrellas, artificial grass, playground, outdoor and indoor showers and toilets. Lifeguard on duty.

Broadwater Rockpools!⛱🌊🌞 It's perfect for all ages but more often visited by families with Babies through to Toddlers. Shallow basins are arranged throughout! Alongside stone Sea animals and layers of stone dunes. The main attraction the water fall which waters flows all the way through. Sprinkler features for a splash. Perfect for littlies and families to have some fun in the sun. Your kids will love it😊👍

Beautiful place with a super awesome park surrounding. Always a nice and fresh breeze there. Go after sunset when it’s dark as well, the city skyline is just special at that time, so beautiful.
Highly recommend when you are visiting the Gold Coast.

Family always loves coming down here, plenty of room so your not picnicking on top of others. Lost of bbqs and facilities are always clean.
