Amazing day had at the colour bomb event. The 8 of us went. From age 2 to age 40. Lovely memories made, it was super busy due to the event & lovely weather but the staff made it a wonderful experience for all. We will return next year for sure. Thank you team Bear Trail

We visited yesterday for the colour bomb event! We had the best afternoon. We had children from 2-14 and they all had the best time doing the colour bomb start, to the wet and cold mud slides and dancing to the music. We will be back again. Thank you 🤩

Wow, fabulous afternoon despite the weather. Great for all ages and abilities. Slight disruption to the afternoon but staff dealt with the situation very well and it really couldn't be helped. Hope all is well with the tug o war team player.
Showers and toliets clean considering your in a mud trail. Staff in the cafe were lovely and prices were reasonable.
Overall great experience would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place, amazing experience with the owls! Really informative but relaxed. John and his team were really friendly and accommodating. My wife has mobility problems but they were reassuring and she was able to to take part fully.

What an experience! Extremely well priced. The girls who do the experience were great and so knowledgeable about each and every bird. We got to hold every bird and fly some of them. The set up and all the birds are in tip top condition and their personalities can shine through. We are a family of 5 (3 girls aged 4/9/9) and everyone was able to handle the birds the girls helped my children and gave them lots of confidence handling them. The whole experience was just fantastic and I've already booked to go back again at Easter break! Thanks John Yarak for a fabulous experience it was second to non!
We had the best day! Such a great variation of birds and the staff were very professional and they clearly prioritised the birds’ needs, which was lovely to see. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was great, too. A generous portion and it was very quick! I would definitely recommend and go back. It’s a birthday I’ll always remember. Thanks, again
An amazing experience for my husband for his birthday, Meg was very knowledgeable about all of the birds and answered questions readily. We had a great day .

Straight forward drive from Bristol, highly recommend if you have children that love getting dirty!! You do get 3 hours here we done the course with in 20mins! But my Boys & partner loved the mud pit & going down the water slides numerous of times! Was great fun for all the family! They do have a cafe here, I thought £7:95 was abit expensive for a small pizza, but uno when the kids need feeding it’s a must! Recommend bringing own pack lunches to save money as they have picnic tables. It’s one big shower room I think cubicles would be more suitable. The kids had great fun tho would definitely visit again.

My family know I love birds of prey, especially owls, so they bought me this experience for my 65th. We've been to birds of prey centres before, with different experiences, but found this to be the most instructive. I also had a feeling which I can't really explain, that there was a more personal engagement with the birds, as well as with the visitors. It was clear that the birds, despite being wild creatures, were very comfortable with the staff. Less commercialised than others we've been to.
Had a fantastic day at Yarak Birds of Prey. It was a humbling experience to handle the various birds of prey - from little Dottie (small owl) to Maya a Chilean Blue Eagle.
Meg was never fazed by the many questions put to her - she is a great asset to Yarak. Well done Meg and good luck with your assessment-we're sure you'll pass with 'flying' colours.
Well worth a visit.

Came for the Colour Bomb with work raising money for our charity and had the BEST day ever! Facilities were great and we all had so much fun. All the team members encountered were just brilliant. Definitely recommend
Took my 11 year old son here as a birthday present today. Lovely location set in beautiful countryside and handy for us being 5 minutes from home.
The staff are very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. On arrival we grabbed a cup of tea/hot chocolate and were allowed to wander around and look at some of the birds in their averies before being lead into the indoor flying barn (due to recent bird flu outbreak they weren't flying them outside). We got to handle and fly several owls in the morning and then had a break for lunch. The food choices were fairly limited but a good enough variety for most people to find something they like. The food itself was nice and a decent size, prices were equivalent to going to a pub, not that I begrudged paying as the money helps support the centre.
After lunch we went back to the barn and enjoyed handling and flying numerous birds which was great, the staff told us about the habitats they would be found in the wild along with information about the specific bird.

Overall a really enjoyable day which both my son and I really enjoyed, would highly recommend anyone with an interest in birds of prey to come here. Thank you to the staff for making it a memorable day out.

Very muddy experience great for children and adults. You get four hours to spend so can go around the course multiple times. Best to bring some spare clothing and make use of the showers!

There is a cafe which does good (strong) coffee and food options such as pizza. Lots of parking available.

Fantastic family day out! Secure parking, easy entry, good changing facilities, and great all round physical entertainment! A selection of challenging climbs, rides, cargo nets, mud puddles and tunnels, all expertly designed so that (I imagine) 3 years + (including adults) can get filthy dirty whist having amazing fun! Showers are available, as is a hose wash-down area, and the toilets are clean and tidy. Small cafe offering wood fired pizza at a reasonable price along with paninis and hot and cold drinks, all with the option of being paid for by card, or cash. Friendly, polite staff bring food to your table, or you can relax on acres of grass and bring a picnic. No clothes or shoes in the dustbins, and recycling facilities available. Once you finish you can unwind in the Merry Harrier's pub just opposite, which might be easier to navigate to so you're not misdirected. An excellent day out, one we'll return for again and again. My 11 and 9 year old sons loved it, as did my 6 year old nephew, and my wife and I thought it fantastic value. Do yourself a favour and book online: you're guaranteed entry, albeit with a roughly 10% surcharge. Enjoy it, I'm sure you will!
