The coastal walk offers a serene and picturesque experience. The well-maintained trail provides stunning views of the coastline, with diverse plant life enhancing the overall beauty. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or just seeking a peaceful stroll, this walk is a refreshing escape.

The track offers breathtaking scenery but lacks water fountains along the way, with only one at the start in Bundeena entrance. It's crucial to plan and bring enough water to avoid dehydration during the 4+ hour hike.
I LOVED this coast track. I go there often for running but it's great also for hiking, you can get the train to Otford station and than walking all the way to Bungeeda ( 27km). A lot of beautiful spots to take photo and enjoy along the track.

An amazing track, plenty of sceneries to enjoy. There is no water fountain along the track except at the beginning in Bundeena entrance, so, you should calculate the amount of water you need or you would stay thirsty for 4+ hours like I used to.

Excellent day hike and best experienced without a car. Take the train to Otford and then at the end of the hike, take the ferry from Bundeena to Cronulla to get the train home.
It is a solid full day though, so make sure to get an early start so you don't miss the last ferry.
The walk snakes north on the coast with a few beach walks at the beginning and a lot of clifftop walking most of the rest of the way. The view are stunning and this is a must do for all Sydney or Wollongong folk.

Just walked the coastral track from Otford to Bundeena. It was 28km from the station in Otford to Bundeena Wharf. The air temperature was around 30C and we carried 4L of water each which was about right.

This is a very beautiful trail and I highly recommend it. The track is mostly very well maintained (with kudos to the National Park and the volunteers for the hard work they put in) so we made excellent time - typically 4-5 km/h.

The steep climb out of Otford station was a bit of a surprise, and the noise from the variouis tree bugs in the forest at the start was literally deafening. We had to shout at each other to be heard.

Going across the beachs in the first part of the walk was a bit disheartening because the beaches aren't very attractive and there is a lot of trash all over them. Hiking down to the beaches, across them and back up in the hot sun was exhausting and it was a relief to have a nice long stretch across the cliff top.

The second half of the walk (the half closer to Bundeena walk) is much more attractive. If I do this again I'll just do a there-and-back from Bundeena. The beaches are gorgeous with hardly any people on them. The rock formations are amazing and the views are fantastic.

The Coastal Track is definitely a must-do activity.

Beautiful trek that wraps around stunning cliffs, beaches and hills. The trek is well signposted and well maintained. However, there isn't really any drinking water along the way, so ensure you pack enough of it.

This walk was amazing! It took me a out 7 and a half hours to complete 30km and every step was worth it. There were amazing coastline views, about 20 humpback whales, wedding cake rock, eagle rock, deer, kangaroos, rabbits, waterfalls and the list goes on. Definitely worth the hike but make sure you have plenty of water.
