Massive lovely park so close to the city center and an escape from the busy capital city rush.

This is a beautiful place to escape the boring life of city and relax for a while however it is not big but it is a place to enjoy the calmness and the nature.
Good place to relax with many park bench available while watching the swan and ducks. Now in oct with sunshine, is a good weather to wandering around.
It's an interesting place, but there's nothing to do here more than once. The history of Ataturk is more interesting to Turks, no interesting facts were found for me personally.
The territory is large and well maintained. The guard is not the best, in many countries the guard works much more organized and accurate, but you can see.
To be honest, I liked the parrots that settled in the building more, they contrast very sharply.

My favorite park for meeting my friend. I like walking in there spontaneously.

The park has a great atmosphere, you can enjoy being in the nature in the middle of chaotic square.
We took a taxi to the site as it was nearly an hours walk from the hotel, which we converted to a £3 fare! The mausoleum was a very large but simple building in a huge square and parkland and it was pleasing to see so many people there to pay their respects. There were small museums on the site detailing aspects of the funeral and transportation of Ataturk's body and the whole thing was well done, no pomp or rampant nationalism but a definite sense of pride in his and the country's achievements.
This is great place to be in Ankara, I also read its history and it's making process. This is a wonderful exhibition of architectural work.
A perfect retreat location!
Do not go on a sunny day, it gets really hot. The place is nice. Everything is free. The museum is really nice and big. The view is amazing. Must see if you are in Ankara.
Very nice park, lot of rides for kids, peaceful and calm, you will find snacks and ice cream shop inside park. This is not huge in Area but beautiful place to visit atmosphere is gr8 specially in summer.

Just spectacular. One of the best museums I have ever visited anywhere in the world. I have come back with a renewed admiration for kamal ataturk and all the historical figures who helped defend and shape this beautiful country.Detailed history of the otoman empire and the modern day turkciye.
One of the best place experience of visiting Turkiye. You can feel the ambience of patriot/warrior here.

A very nice park with benches and fountains. There are multiple cafes and vendors there if you don’t wish to sit on the grass or would like to have a snack. Lots of trees and shade for picnics and it’s dog-friendly.
İt was a nice park but small, I stayed there maybe just for 5 minutes haha
the park itself is very beautiful but the WC was not clean enough, and also there was some bird feathers around
We visited Anitkabir the memorial tomb for Mustafa Kemal Artatuk, dated 5th June 2023.
Before we arrived here, our Tour Guide informed us that Anitkabir is a Mausoleum built to honor Mustafa Kemal Pasha, the leader and founder of Turkish Republic. Artatuk was also known as the Father of Turkey. And this monument was inniated by Turkish people for their great leader.
As soon as we reached this place, we took photos at the courtyard. Afterwards, my sister and I went up to the hall of honor. Artatuk tomb is inside this hall.
We walked down and slowly walked to The Roads of Lion. It's beautiful indeed. We took pictures there and soon there were many visitors came especially students from local University and school children.
I was amazed with this place. The courtyard is large and clean.

Good place but its rainy when i come. For your information, my friend take video for her VLOG and suddenly the security come 😅. So, Dont take photo/video when you in security gate because the army will come to you and ask you to delete it
A beautiful, green, and peaceful park. in this park, you can find so many variety species of birds from pigeons to duck and swans. I enjoyed very much the pools, the fountains, and the bridges, along with all the nice man-made nature, which looks very realistic and very green. I totally recommend visiting.
Nice open space, within the city. Looks a bit dated and scruffy, but set out well, with children's play areas, open grass and an exercise area. Well used and loved by locals.
Very nice place, great for photo shooting, worth visiting, kind and professional guides but unfortunately they didn't speak English, too expensive. 150 TL for students, and 200 TL for other visitors.
Known as Kurtuluş Park, well set out park with lots of places to süit and do BBQ's. İn the heart of the city, we went to the wedding hall, that is In the park. Great place for a simple wedding. We love coming here. Nice place to relax in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city.

This park is an amazing escape from our busy life.
They have the cutest benches and tables for you to have a quiet picnic or hangout with your friends and family. There's also a lake in the middle.
We came here around noon and the weather was beautiful. We enjoyed our food and the scenery. It was very relaxing.

Park is great for both adults and children. There beautiful swans and play ground for kids .there is also a eating place.many people visit the park with there families.

Wonderful, peaceful, natural beauty ☺ Ankara Metropol City Municipality works better and keeps up this beauty by restoring the botanical area thanks to the biologists union!

Lovely place. Nice sunset. You can drink tea there and have ice cream. Got playing ground for kids. Small grocery store that has everything. And good to relax your mind
Now you have the Park in its majestic aura of greenery and snaking walkways, a fountain, convenience facilities. Just overlooking the park is an enormous shopping mall.
Came here during winter and it was quiet as there weren't so many people around. You can access the park through the street uphill or from a path downhill. There is a pond and it appears to be dried out during the winter. There is also a structure that looks like a greenhouse but I didn't have the chance to go inside. There is an area that appeared to be an aquarium but apparently, it wasn't open when I got there. There is also an area for kids to play but it is located way uphill not in the downhill area.
Nice place while you wait for your bus.

Beautiful
A very beautiful and well-organised park! It has trees, flowers, birds and a lovely little stream that flows throughout the park, whose sound is very soothing and plenty of birds take cute baths in the water. The park has an open air amphitheatre (from which we heard electronic music playing one Friday night), plenty of benches to sit on, a children’s playground complete with some statues of Snow White and her seven dwarves (which are a little weird and scary tbh), and an outdoor gym with a lot of different pieces of equipment. The park is very well kept and clean, and not too busy since there is plenty of space to accommodate visitors. It seemed that this park is mostly frequented by close friend groups and couples who visit to share some drinks and laughter together while escaping the busyness of the city.
Independence Park is a two parks combine just south of the old city that are pleasant for running or just sitting watching birds and enjoying the nature in middle of bustling busy city center /Kızılay. When you come in evening or night you can see the park is lit. Quite beautiful to see with light lite up
About 1 km from Independence Park is the hilltop 50th Year Park (50. Yıl Parkı), a sprawling city park offering views of Ankara, on nicely landscaped, rolling hill paths with some lovely flowers and plants.
The Kurtuluş subway station is a good access point for both parks. To connect the two parks, use Erdem . Note: it’s a hilly climb between the two parks — nearly 100m.

Will be 5 star if only the people can maintain the park by cleanliness. Not much garbage spot if there's people still thrown garbage outside the bin not inside 😢 so quite heartbreaking.

One of the nicest parks in Ankara. 12 mins from Kızılay by foot. Located near Hacettepe Medicine Faculty. Nice pond with fountain and bridge on it, lots of benches to relax and enjoy. It’s home to countless pigeons. Big tables under trees are available for a picnic. There is also a special designed walking/running path for exercise. Beggars might be annoying rarely but it is totally safe.
Located in Çankaya Belediyesi, some >1000 metres behind Ankara Üniversitesi, Kurtuluş campus. İt is a monumental park in all ramifications. From the park there is hardly any part of the city that you cannot see.

Mustafa Ayaz is one of my teachers whom I am honored to be a student of. My teacher has a life story and success that will exemplify us and those who follow him. This museum, which he built and opened with the accumulation he created by selling his paintings; primarily for Ankara is a great gain. Then, like an oasis in the middle of the steppe of art, it is an environment that everyone should stop by.
It's a beautiful park. cultural space in city park~ 😆 Many people say they can feel good and relaxed when they are in a forest apparently because of the healing effects of nature, trees in particular. Let's walk! 😌

An outdated public park. It is OK for small kids.
Great. Right in the heart of the city and so green. This is considered the central park of Ankara. You can enjoy this park differently on each season. In winter time it is great when it is all white. It is also great to lay on the grass and enjoy some soft drinks under the stars.
