I'm ashamed 😞 to say that I've lived in Brampton for many years and this is the first time I've actually gone to this park. What a great experience myself and my husband had, and it's not even summer yet. We had a nice walk on a beautiful day and saw numerous water fowl hanging around the lake. And it's baby time! So we were able to see some of the first goslings of the season! What a nice rebooting experience and I'm going to make it a point to go back and see other attractions they have to offer.

As everyone is visiting places to get the wonderful view of cherry blossoms, me and my friend decided to go to Gage Park as it is in the Downtown hence, very accessible by bus. Although front side of the park was temporarily fenced due to renovation probably, we still got beautiful sight of the white cherry blossoms. We soaked ourselves in the sunlight and the fresh air and clicked tons of nice pictures. The bungalow is a great place to get clicked with.
Overall, it was worth of spending time! Made our day!

Perfect place for nature-lovers…one can do brisk walk, cycling, jogging and many more other activities while enjoying the scenic beauty of greenery, water pond, blooming vibrant flowers and cool breeze. So many rides for children, along with the splash pads for kids and adults as well. One can have a great picnic time with family and friends there. If not to do anything, just sit, relax and breathe; you will find yourself in the lap of mother nature there😊😊

It was super spacious and super nice to walk around. Nothing much around except for playground and pond. Lovely stroll tho on a day off
So beautiful! Located near the city, this is one of the most beautiful places to see autumn colors. I will visit again. I love this place.

Gage Park in Brampton is an amazing place. Beautiful park with lots of trees and greenery. Personally, I like it during the snowtime. During the winter, the park is illuminated with lights all over, and an absolute delight and treat to the eyes and mind. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience in the freezing cold, worth it, unforgettable and just loved it. Not to miss this illuminated experience during the next winter.

I was staying near Gage Park. I used to come here almost every week. I have seen this park in every season. Now I'm shifted to another place and i miss this park very much. It was such a cute park with cherry blossom tree, Farmer's market, fall colors, tree lightening ceremony, skating rink, beautiful decoration, and jamming sessions by some freelance musicians on weekends. I miss everything. I wish to come here someday to enjoy the charm of this park.

Cute little public square. Open theatre. Love it.
Ideal for a weekend escape, conveniently located near Brampton and Mississauga, this destination is perfect for families with children. Featuring a thrilling tree-top zip line and a heart-shaped lake as its main highlight, the conservatory is well-kept. Although the kids' water play yard was closed during our visit, the park is excellent for outdoor activities in the summer. Birdwatchers will delight in the variety of bird species present. This location is well-suited for hosting family events and gatherings.
Beautiful scenery. A little icy last weekend but still fun when careful. Wish we could park car inside rather than lining the cars on the busy highway.

Really very nice park to visit in core Brampton. Very big park where u see animals and horses. You can even ride electric scooter which is paid but worth to give a shoot. In winter they also have snow tubing and skies. There also a play ground for skating.

Gage Park is a popular tourist attraction in the heart of Brampton. Right in the middle of Brampton Downtown area, the park is divided into 2 parts. One side has big BRAMPTON logo and the other side has a ice skating rink along with light tunnel. It's a beautiful small park which is well maintained by team Brampton. There is free day time parking near Gage park. Good place to visit with kids esp if they like ice skating - equipments are available on rent at the park.

Very beautiful place to visit especially in the winters. No tickets no hassle. Beautiful lighting with variety of themes used. Great for skating with well maintained area. Highly recommended for casual night outs or unplanned outings because of the location which is in the middle of Brampton.

Gage Park is a very beautiful park specially during the winter with it's free outdoor ice skating rink. The rink is surrounded by beautiful lighting making it a delight to skate at night. Skate rentals and sharpening is also available. Rentals cost $15 for 2 hours and $10 for kids aged 12 and under, helmets are also available to rent at $5. The rink is open daily from 5pm-10pm and 10am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Underground parking is available in City Hall. Overall a nice option for a winter outdoor family activity.

I would love to give a 3.9 rating to the park. It is a nice place to hang out with family and friends. The best part is that it is spacious so one can have a picnic with family and friends, for children there are distractions like swings, fountains and little zip lining. For winters they have a small area for skiing. A place to enjoy peace and nature time to time.

I would love to give 3.8 rating to the place. Good part is that they have ice skating for free if you have ur own skating shoes, even rentals are also available. Just the place is occupied bcos of skating thing so garden is not accessible much. Still would be a good spot to stop by👍

Garden square with almost no Flora or open space for the public to sit or do anything.
No less of a joke than the rest of Brampton.
This is a fantastic disc golf course , it would be really hard when the leaves are in full bloom . But the cooler weather allowes you to make some rookie mistakes without to much of a penalty or losing your disc in the deep rough ! This is definetly a must play !

Garden Square shines as a vibrant community hub, hosting numerous events and offering a lively atmosphere. It's a great spot to enjoy outdoor entertainment, from live music to movie nights. With its central location, it's easily accessible and a favorite among locals.
My husband loved going to the dog park and wandering the trails year round. They have a Frisbee golf course, that is quite popular. You can walk the trails from White Spruce to Heart Lake Conservation Area.
Beautiful trails, quiet time in the middle of the city!

It's an all in one park. They have a zip line for kids, big slides with built-in rope climbers, swings, splash pad, petting zoo, carousel, picnics, and barbecue areas. Older kids can even rent electric scooters available there. For the carousel, you need to purchase tickets.
There is a shop serving drinks, chips, fries, pizza slices, and other snacks for kids. However, on the weekend when the crowd is more, they're usually sold out on the pizza slices :(

It's a complete entertainer for kids while parents can relax keeping a watch!

What an experience at this course. 20 holes, all at a fair distance for par 3s, but if you are a beginner, count your blessings of you get par. This is one challenging course with multiple holes that are equally scenic as they are places to lose your disk forever.

Also prep for a hike while you are here, there are a lot of climbing up and down valllys all through 20 holes. If you are not confident climbing up steep inclines, keep your eye out for the White Rope linesm they are always the easiest pathways to the next hole. You can get seriously hurt by a fall here.

There are also multiple holes with Huge divots and holes in the ground where you can seriously mess up your ankle. Please be wary of those, especially on the Front 9.

Beautiful park and so much to do especially for kids!
Even for a stroll it's simply lovely.
$6.00 for 6-8 mins of train ride which is decent but they did charge for a year old as well.
Ample space for picnics and seems like they have so much more to offer even in winter.
Definitely going to visit again and again!

Gage Park is a popular park in Brampton with beautiful gardens, a fountain, and a greenhouse. It's a great place to have a picnic or take a leisurely stroll. 🌳🌷. Live music events and concerts are major attractions. Its worth checking their website or local events listing for upcoming concerts🥳
Nice green space in Brampton for a picnic/ barbecue/ day's outing with family and friends.

Attractions:
1) Tree top trekking -Always get advance online booking.
2) kayaking in transparent kayaks in Heart lake
3) Ziplinning across Heart 💖 lake.
4)Enjoy a few trails around the lake and in the wooded area.
5) Barbecue is allowed for barbecue enthusiasts

Tip: Carry mosquito repellent spray especially in the summers to avoid getting eaten alive by the mosquitoes.

I often visit that park and I really like that place
Many festivals during summer and some in winters so people would enjoy any weather .
Heart Lake Conservation Area is located in Brampton, which is a fantastic site for family or group events, no matter large or small.

Boathouse fishing and tackle, no license required. Learn to Fish program for beginners, pool and splash pad, picnic areas with benches, fitness trail, Tree Top Trecking/ Zip Line, canoeing and kayaking, cycling and hiking, dog walking, or just a nature walk is fine.

If you are looking for an adventure for kids of all ages, get outdoors and choose your adventure, this is the place. However, you have to pay extra if you want to play those activities. I don't think they will allow for overnight camping over there.

There is a bathroom/change room located near the pool and splash pad. There are stairs to walk down to the Heart Lake where you can find another washroom facility. However, there are porta-potties only in the picnic areas or along the trails.

Several huge parking lots in different areas are available, but you have to pay for general admission.
Passenger vehicle: $24.00
Large van: $42.00
Bus: $300.00.

The Medicine Wheel Garden is organized by the Aboriginal Network, TRCA, City of Brampton, and community groups, a place for healing, celebration, and peace, which is fantastic to drop by.

The breathtaking landscape along the lake is absolutely an oasis for nature lovers. It's definitely a natural beauty for spending a whole day with family and friends.
Would recommend!

Great park with lots to do with kids. Good amount of picnic tables. A little pricey for carousel train and petting zoo but seeing as everything else is free I can understand the price point. $40 for 8 tickets. Both train and carousel take 1 ticket each ride. Ice cream truck sell $6.50 and up for most things. We brought some snacks and drinks from home so highly recommend this to save some money from concessions. Overall kids happy and willdefinitely be back
A remarkably clean and picturesque area that we thoroughly enjoyed. It's perfect for walking, hiking, cycling, and photography. You'll need to pay around $29 per car at the entrance, but don't worry if you're uncertain about which activities to try. There are numerous options available, including a water park, playground for children, and boat rentals and etc. However, there aren't any public restrooms available.
Really enjoyed visiting this conservation area. If you go on a weekday it typically isn't very busy. If you are entering the park by car it's about $30 for the day so make sure you bring a credit card as they don't accept cash. There are lots of different paths to hike as well as a lot of seating room and picnic benches. This park also has water activities including kayaking and swimming.
Heart lake is a beautiful area, with expansive land for picnics and activities. In addition to the tree top trekking, splash pad and zip lines there were a few small areas to fish, and boat rentals. In addition to the entry fees, all activities have additional fees.

After following the first trail for a few km, it ended, and the only option was to follow the same trail back or make the mistake of diverting to another one and getting lost like we did. We eventually exited into a parking lot 15 minutes away from our original starting point and walked along the road. There are no maps along the trail...only numbered posts which do not particularly help. The trails were long but not very interesting. If you are not interested in the other activities, there is not a lot to see along the trails.
This review is specifically for my kayak/boating rental experience in June of 2023.

Having enjoyed my hiking visits to Heart Lake in the past, I was excited to rent a kayak. The Toronto and Regional Conservation (TRCA) parks website stated boat rentals are $20/hr, which seemed reasonable to me. When I got there, I discovered that that price pertains only to fishing rowboats, which are limited to visitors that fish. The staff will not allow non-fishing visitors to rent these if it is a busy time with many fishers.

Single-person kayaks are $30/hr, while tandem kayaks are $60/hr. We were a party of 3 and ended up spending 3 times what I had budgeted for. I found this to be highly unreasonable and deceptive - is there a reason you charge twice as much for two people using one kayak? Furthermore, they should at least give a comprehensive listing of all rental options on their website, not just the cheapest one. Your lack of transparency ruined what would otherwise have been an excellent outing. This is not a respectable way to do business.
Awesome park😊If you are looking for great place to see the fall colours, you should definitely checkout for this dense forest in brampton. Conservation drive park offers hiking and cycling opportunities for those who enjoy being outdoors. This is the best place for relaxing also. The environment is very peaceful.

It's a magnificent park and so lively in summers. It has a splash pad and various rides for kids. Carousal, train and gives all picnic feel .Very well connected to public transport and it's a go to place for all ages. There is a small pond where I have also seen people boating. Overall it's a good place where you can have a good one day picnic and on weekends you will also find ice cream trucks. Washrooms are a bit unclean , rest all things I found good .

I visited here last weekend with my daughters and their mother. We all had an amazing time. There is so much to do! A really nice park for the kids to play on, a small park for the little ones and a zipline! A fairly good sized splash pad for when it gets hot out and you want to cool down. You can go paddle boating on the pond for $10 for half an hour or play some mini golf for $2 a person! There's a wading pool as well and a greenhouse to look at some plants. There is also small petting zoo and pony rides as well and a Mary Go Round but the tickets are a little too expensive... $40 for 8 tickets. Not worth the 2 minute ride. You can also visit here in the winter to go skating and tubing down the massive hill on the property as well! They do sell food at a very reasonable price if you get hungry! Overall this place is amazing for friends and families to visit for a couple of hours or for a day for a picnic and just to get together and make some memories!

Garden Square at the intersection of Main and Queen Streets in Brampton is a placemaking environment for community enjoyment. It hosts many events all year round and this morning it was the annual Bike To Work Day celebration. Wicked fun band "The 80-it's" need to bring them back. The crowd loved them. Singing and dancing.
A wonderful place for hikes.

Loved this park for my boys ages 6 and 8. Sand, swings, slides, court for basketball, field of green to play soccer or frisbee. From the way we arrived there was no parking. So you have to find street parking. If only there was a splash pad this park would be a perfect all in one park. No washrooms either.
Wonderful facility for a nice walk in the park around the lake or a short trail hunting. Dont miss the Blossoms in Loafers Park.. Place is beautiful in spring. Dog friendly, washroom and ample spots for Parking. Recommend to start from Loafers Park.

I have been to Brampton a few times but I have never been to this side of town! I was amazed by the beautiful magnificent buildings. It had this ancient feel and look that I have a special love for.
The park in itself was so beautiful!
I also had the opportunity of connecting with the mayor (met him a few other times).
It was an awesome experience. The conversation park was not crowded. You can enjoy hiking, cycling or exploring trails even by walking. The lake is beautiful and the cool breeze can soothe your soul. There are a lot of points for photography as well and the natural lighting and beautiful nature will add the jinx in your picture. There is a playground for kids, lots of places to sit and hangout with your friends and family. It's a good idea to enjoy your day picnic as well.

Overall it was an excellent experience, one should definitely go and visit this place once.

Highly recommend going in for skiing and tube snow slide experience.

Tried this fun activity for the first time. Amazing experience!! Staff was friendly and quick. Short waiting and well organized. Awesome environment.

There is a café on site where you can buy hot chocolate and some snacks, with both indoor and outdoor seating options, so that's a nice option to warm up if it's especially cold out.

Free marshmallow and hot chocolate during Family day.

Staff is super friendly and experienced!

Great place for summer activities. Small pool for kids, Gardens with varieties of Flowers. It's a big park for a day picnic and group gathering events. Games like cricket, Volleyball can be played due to large area.

A nice park and trail for walking and biking. Trail from Wanless drive to Mayfield is almost 4km with some highs and lows. Trail is not maintained during winter season. Summer and falls feels and looks beautiful. It is known to be Coyote’s habitat but not as scary as it sounds.

Very beautiful place to go with your kids relaxing and enjoying seeing the beautiful things nature has to offer
As a flower photographer this is my go to spot for Flowers, it is always well maintained, definitely a quiet area to take in nature. If you need a place to relax and enjoy a stroll through nature this is the place, also a beautiful path that follows along the creek.
A wonderful place to spend your mornings. Its a great place for cyclists and people who own pets. The dogs will love the atmosphere and so can you.
A great park for some baseball, running or even a short walk into the nature. We traveled 2nd week of Oct and enjoyed the green in a part of the trail and also yellow in another part of the park. It's a good trail for kids and adults. Loved it .
Nice place for biking and walking. Its a small trail but good for morning walk with family. Quite near from brampton gateway terminal. Parking is not available so can park car on food basic or canadian tire parking place.
Good place for morning walks as it merges with trail 😍..

Good park
Parking options are limited
Located across shoppers world and you can park your car near tokyo sushi or dollar tree. A nice place to go for a walk, if you don't mind the busy cars along the main st.
In one word, this place is magnificient. It is clean, it is green, it is quiet and it is serene. It has a disc golf course with 19 baskets. You dont need to book it or spend a dime on that. Parking and entry is free. You keep going inside and you will find out a tennis court amidst the green forests. Further ahead is a dog park. The landscape is perfect for photography. Only thing it lacks is a water fountain so make sure you carry a bottle with you. The park looks beautiful in fall.
Thanks.

It's a small park, about a 7 min circle, with s playground and small soccer fields. It's used by children, seniors and dog owners. The park connects to a trail that loops around the pond and onto Porchlight.

It's open 24 hours. There's an informal seniors' club that meets every day (Punjabi and male). There's litter sometimes though there are two garbage cans.

Great place for birdwatching: Canada geese, seagulls, red winged blackbirds, mourning doves, mallards. I've spotted cardinals, gray jays and humming birds. A grey heron stalks through the water some mornings. In autumn, hundreds of Canada geese graze the lawn.
Beautiful flowers ..very quiet... you can bike ride.

Beautiful, accessible and convenient place to see the movies offered by the city every summer saturday and other events on other days as well as the games which the city shows every once in a while.
parking is easily available underground and streetside, it is free underground over the weekend.
It is informally known as the four corners as there were 4 banks in each corner but not only three banks are exist.

With all the events that happen at the Garden square movie night is our favourite. Every Saturday evening during the summer months movies place place on place on the big screen. One at 7pm and the second at 9pm. A great way to get out and enjoy some fresh air and watch a movie. Thank you Garden Square for bringing families together.
