Is a great and Beautiful park, Called Parke Infantil. Unfortunately after somany years, I can see how bad become due the lack of maintenance, the great Small lake, become empty, with out the Magic of its colour lights, and no place for rent boats
This time was at 7 am and be surprised because this park was full of people making exercise, dancing. Really great and amazing to see people of all ages looking to be fit and healthy.

Es muy bello el lugar para ir a apreciar la naturaleza, me gustaría que extenderán más el horario de visita los sábados y domingos y tener más lugares para hacer fogatas. Algunos letreros de las plantas están un poco deteriorados al igual que la maqueta al comienzo del recorrido. Pero es un bonito lugar lleno de paz y flores que es ideal para quienes les gusta la fotografía o las excursiones, solo que deberían seguir dando mantenimiento.

Un lugar realmente increible, el tercer museo religioso más importante de sudamerica. Es un tesoro del Ecuador que necesitamos conocer. Una atención esmerada, ideal para conocer parte de la historia de nuestro país.
Garbage and It was dirty at some places. There are no security in the park (and in the city). A lot of shady people, small city with a strange vibe. Be careful.
Nice building. But be careful I was robbed. A there is no one police around here.

It's a nice place to chill with seats, small vendors, pigeons, and a view of the architecture around.
Un parque muy pero muy bonito. Pequeño pero muy acogedor. Falta algo de mantenimiento en sus plantas; pero su gran atractivo son sus áreas bbq dónde se puede asar y forjar buenos recuerdos con la familia y amigos.
Falta algo de señalética donde se indique cómo llegar.

Very nice, clean square to visit with a beautiful church face of carved stone. Well worth a stroll and some pictures
En mi visita pude conocer más acerca de la historia del arte religioso invaluable del museo, asi mismo la historia de las madres conceptas y su lucho por mantener este museo emblemático de la ciudad intacto y en pie para todos aquellos turistas que desean conocer un poco más acerca de estar hermosa ciudad.

A nice spot in an otherwise pretty dismal city. Good views of El Altar volcano and the mural was one of the nicer we have seen in Ecuador. Seems to be a bit of a lovers park as eager couples were cuddled up thru out the park. Bit trashy but still quite pleasant.
Not much shade, a bland park in the middle of town. Other cities parks are much nicer.

Nettes Mudeum mit ecuadorianischer Kunst. Es ist zwar einiges verbesserungsfähig, aber der Eintritt ist immerhin gratis.
Park located in the center of Riobamba city, around it there is a Supermarket, restaurants, bars and the city's Olympic Stadium, occasionally events or concerts are presented in its outdoor setting.
The is a fascinating historical park. There are layers of history all around you. It’s beautiful and it makes any photographer look good. There are businesses all around the square. From coffee shops to designers clothing to restaurants. It’s well kept and clean. You can feel safe and people are always friendly. From the Church, the city hall, the fountains and gardens, it’s endless history about Riobamba and Ecuador. A place to come with time to enjoy.
Uno de los mejores museos del Ecuador, posee más de 200 piezas invaluables. Sí eres un turista cultural, este lugar es para ti.
It's a nice view, it's the highest place on the city, but a little lonely place.... it's better if you go with friends

Creado en 1980, reúne una valiosa colección que representa lo más destacado de la Escuela Quiteña de Arte. En 14 salas se exhiben pinturas, esculturas, orfebrería, piedra esculpida,ornamentos, mobiliario, tejidos, etc, trabajos realizados en los siglos XVII, XVIII y XIX.
En la sala 15 existe una muestra permanente de fotografías del “Señor del Buen Suceso” y de la procesión de Martes Santo.
De todo el museo se destaca la sala 14, en la cual se exhiben 4 custodias valiosas, una de ellas trabajada en el Siglo XVII, siendo la de mayor valor no solo por su antigüedad sino por las piedras preciosas conque está adornada y de las cuales hay pocas en el mundo.
Dirección: Calles Argentinos 19-80 y Juan Larrea.

Der Park bietet am Wochenende viel für Kinder! Für Erwachsene ist jedoch nicht viel geboten außer Essen und Trinken!
Now this is the park that really need some love and maintenance. From this park you can really get some great view of Chimborazo and Volcano Tungurahua in the background of the beautiful church.

It's a nice enough park to visit and relax. You can bring something to eat and just enjoy the location. There are also many things to see around the area. It is nothing special but it is still nice enough.

The park is raised just above the surrounding city so there are great views in all directions, including towards Chimborazo. I agree it doesn't feel very safe with a camera as there are very few people around even on a Sunday morning except for an occasional loitering man. Below the park towards the church there were market stalls and more activity.
I love this place to make a grilled with friends or family.
Nice open space with greenery. Beautiful fountain and some old buildings surrounding it. You can get anything you want of street vendors and your shoes will be polished at the same time. Good place to sit and relax

My girlfriend and I visited the park on our second evening in Riobama. The park is big and was clean during our visit. There was an national election scheduled the next day so the mood was festive. There were rides for kids and boy scouts at the band stand. There is even a water park in the park. We loved the artwork and statues that were quite colorful.

A lot to learn from a religious culture
Trip to Chimborazo was excellent! Or guide, Fausto, was excellent. He was very nice, spoke great English (and French) and he was unbelievable friendly. Probably the most memorable post of our trip!
