I learned that Hoboken was burned and forgotten like the South Bronx was. Bob and Bill are friendly, knowledgeable, and highly involved in the community.
This is one of the best place to chill and walk next to cool breeze and water waves.
Very nice little museum with friendly and informative guides. We had a great visit and received a free postcard with admission.

Beautiful sun set view. New York sightseeing as well. Excellent for jogging, walking or simply to spend some time with your children at the park and having a relaxing/picnic day.

Really nice area to play and picnic by the water. Has a playground and dog park available. Bring your own seats as not many there and seats available are made of stone with no back support
the park and views are beautiful but the bathrooms at the park are disgusting. thank goodness most near by restaurants will allow my children to use their bathroom without buying anything. its a shame.
I love this Museum I went there with my girl best friend I was so amazed by the historical stuff on the walls specially when we down stairs there’s this sitting area we’re u can watch a movie that’s based on Frank Sinatra such an amazing movie, The owner was super nice I will definitely come back. This is probably one of the best parks you can go to to view the sunrise over Manhattan. The views are marvellous. Other than the runners early in the morning, it’s quite and a great place to enjoy your morning coffee.

This place is a must-visit for Hoboken for three reasons: it’s basically the only museum in town, it has Hoboken merchandise! (Shirts—only up to XL, stickers, mugs, patches, etc.) and it has the most Frank Sinatra stuff anywhere in town so far as we encountered. Yes, it’s a quick visit of perhaps 20 minutes, but for the price (just $5, and a free postcard and stamp) you should certainly make it part of your itinerary if you’re in town.
This place is stunning. Wonderful views of the city with an eclectic mix of people walking, biking, even doing yoga. Great family place.
Good Pier with nice views. It was a historic pier. Now is our particular "Little Island" in Hoboken. The bad thing... restrooms used to be unclean.
I love this park! In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful places in Hoboken. Good green esplanade, beach area with kayaking, playground. And also you can see some Canadian geese.
I was in aww when I was walking the waterfront. I have walked around the train station and the other streets but I was just immersed with the views of the New York City views!

Love this park have gone here since a child and to see it after so long well dang it got better love what they did with the swings and so much more cant wait to go back.
Best place ever, To walk, Run, Have a dinner or even have a cup of coffee and sit watch the magnificent view, The boardwalk on the Hudson River, When it's summer I go, When it's winter I go too, There are 2 playgrounds for kids, Cole to Target, You can fid all kind of food ( Washington Street ), Only 10 min to New York. Loved the visit here.. the day we went it was about to rain so not.nuch crody.. it quiet and peace, we spend a couple of hours just sitting on the grass looking at the nyc skyline ❤️
The $5 includes a postcard and stamp which is cute. The museum staff are very friendly and helpful and they have a gift shop area. The museum itself is super tiny and you'll be in and out in 15 minutes even reading everything about the fires they have displayed, so be sure to have other plans for the day. There are restaurants, a supermarket and a Walgreens, and a park in walking distance. A cute quick stop if you're in the area.
Always nice to visit this park. Good place to taje photos of nyc skyline. There is a kids park, dog park, ice cream shop (yogurt icecream) nearby. Summer time has special activities too. Like there was free kayaking today 06/25/2023

Very nice area to walk, run or to jog. Clean and a lot of space to seat, and contemplate the river and Manhattan. It is a bit noisy a times as there is a lot of helicopters going back and forth also a lot of boats. Something interesting is that you see a lot of locks in the fence and some with love messages or anniversaries dates, maybe people locked their love in the fence there :))) I really don’t know the meaning but I’m guessing that!
Pier C Park shows a simpler structure and function compared to the Little Island near the front. Two paths wavily connect the park/island, which will lead you elegantly. From a bird's view, the entire park looks like an infant that holds energy and is ready to release it.
The park is not so far from the Hoboken shoreside but shows a peaceful separation inside. You could walk around the circular pathway, sit on sloping lawns, let your children play with the installations, and have more to experience here.

Park is very big and has a good view wherever you look, and this park is really safe for children because the police typically do laps around the park

This is a fantastic riverside Boardwalk. It is built and maintained very well and is always very clean. Not too crowded. Great place for fantastic views of Manhattan, especially great for photography. Ample space for long walks and jogging.
Beautiful waterfront and a Frank Sinatra statue is right where it belongs, in his hometown.
Excellent park, with emergency totems, many benches, close to a sports club. Special mention to Debbie Williams Playground.
Very awesome museum. Only $5 entrance fee and we got a free postcard ! Everyone was so friendly and informative. They change the exhibit frequently so would definitely go back. Spent between 60-90 minutes here!

Beautiful park. Hudson river and NYC in front of you. Best restaurants alongside the park. Outside eating available at most of the places. Views are breathtaking!! So many places to hang out. You can have a picnic with family and friends! Small.areas of grass to set up a small.group for picnic and soaking the sun. New York City never looks this great from any place else!! My opinion.

I have watched this waterfront walk evolve and expand over the past two decades. Aside from the amenities and great dining options you will find plenty of places to take a break, picnic or play.
Take in the spectacular views of the New York City skyline both day and night. As well as the activity on the river which ranges from jet skis to cruise ships and everything in between.
This is also a wonderful location to catch waterfront fireworks in both New Jersey and New York.
Highly recommend visiting during the 5k runs and local street fairs adjacent to the waterfront.

The environment is great and all staffs are friendly and warm.
I learnt lots of history about the Avenue and Hoboken. I am not good at name memory, but I really would love to say thanks to Barb, Victoria and Ritz, they made me a good afternoon.
I also got a walk map from the museum and I do hope that I can walk around Hoboken a deep trip.
The music and photography are excellent too. If you are new here, it’s a great place to connect you more with your future home.

love the vibe here, i have celebrated birthdays, gatherings and many more here. the skyline looks amazing, its a huge park. there is skateboard park, basketball park and also a bridge, there is a separate walk way, great place great view and love the atmosphere.
there is also a garden, where you can sit and soak up the sun or even play football.

My favorite place in hoboken
I love to bring my dog here for the sunrise. There's benches all around for you to take in the sights of the city across the harbor. Cute things for kids to have fun while you relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Plenty of families in the park around the afternoon. Nice and serene in the early morning!

I love the vibrancy of this place. It's full of energy every time. It's so soothing and mesmerizing to spend time with yourself, with friends, with a loved one, or with your family. Great place! The beauty of this place is, you will find something new every time.! Sit, relax, play and on top please keep it clean.
Hoboken has the best places to enjoy the magnificent New York Skyline and out of those Maxwell place is one of them. Its a really popular place in the summer for Kayaking, also remains crowded in the afternoon specially for running and cycling. The night view of Manhattan Skyline (Hudson Yards) is really breathtaking, one can sit there for hours to enjoy river time with that view.
Was waiting with a friend and was impressed on how clean the park is from what I saw. Was expecting trash and papers in grass but overall clean and quiet.
Plenty of benches and grass area to chill out on. Parking in Hoboken in general is tough so good luck trying to find parking around here. Better off waking if possible.

Pretty place. Very scenic. It’s amazing how you can see NY on one side. I have a view of the Hudson as well as the Little Island. Nice place, but definitely better when it’s warmer.
It's a great spot to have access to in the area. The biggest downside though is the grass can be worn down in places, but I constantly see people working on landscaping so they invest a good amount into this park. Highly recommend.

Out of all cities in the country, Hoboken has one of the most interesting histories, so it's well worth your time to visit. There's a little too much Frank, but that's OK, it's all good. Donations are welcome and membership is available.
One of my Favorite places to visit for watching Fourth of July fireworks on the Jersey side if you’re not interested in going in the crowd in New York then this is a great option you can actually see fireworks that are being done on both sides
One of the best refreshing place. Every time I visit felt refresh. If anyone wants to go for visiting, please take one car because there is a parking problem. Need to look for parking. Most of the place is full of parking. Some place are free of parking fee, and some places need to pay. You can pay in cash or by mobile app. Cash is cheaper than the mobile app. If anyone like to use mobile app the app name is ParkMobile. I add the photo of the app. Plz check the last photo.

Pier A Park is one of most beautiful parks with amazing views of Manhattan skyline by Hudson River. The ambiance is really cozy & relaxing and it is definitely one of the best spots in Hoboken.
There is a huge & well-maintained open grass field in the middle of the park and it's perfect for picnic & gathering, especially during the pandemic. We enjoyed our time hanging there and will visit again if we are in the neighborhood.

Love the view to downtown Manhattan, ( NEW YORK CITY). Good area to walk, run and enjoy the view. There is a playground for the kids too, good for family.

Very nice park. Watching all the little ones playing.Its clean and well maintained. And there is a store across the street .Very convenient.
Great park and great location! They have sprinklers for those hot summer days .. 2 tennis courts, and a basketball court .. the park also has a gazebo in the middle which is great to use to take shelter sometimes when it's raining... The playgrounds are cool however I wish they offered more swings for the older kids.. They have lots of benches and open grassy area to sit in and enjoy the breeze.. maybe even read a book ... Families have had gathering on the grassy area as well.. but be sure to pick up after yourself of course.. and don't mind the caution tape.. the park is currently working on growing back some of their patchy grass ..
I personally love this park. There's a nice big and always tidy (as best as possible) bathroom, two playgrounds for the small and big kids, a basketball court and dog park as well as a nice view. The park is big enough for everyone on busy days, in my opinion and the traffic flow is easy.
My only issue is how open the park itself is considering it is by two streets. However, vigilance, and paying attention to your children would avoid anyone accidentally running into the streets.
As for adult park activities i.e sunbathing...this isn't the park for that. It's not the right set up and it's usually mainly children playing here on most days.

What everyone else says, it's a great view of the skyline and of the sunrise. The sunrise is literally dead center to this pier. Come on down and enjoy the view with everyone else. The place looks better during sunrise. I went midday but it's just not the same during the sunrise.
Great park with 2 fenced in play areas—one for toddlers and one for older kids. It also has a basketball court, 3 tennis courts, a gazebo and sidewalks/grassy space.

Great place to relax and play some basketball! The courts get kind of crowded in the afternoon/evening but that's easy enough to avoid. It also has a fun playground for kids and composting bins for local residents to use!

It's a small park, has areas of playground for chidlren with different ages, slides, swings. There is a sprayground with sprinklers separately, usually used by kids in the summertime.
It looks new still. It has a bathroom too but might not have water.
The biggest issue is finding a parking can be tough in that area.

Amazing view of new york city from Hoboken. It's essentially a pier with ferry serivce to new york. There are benches all around if you wanna look at THE CITY while enjoing calm and cooling winds and soothing sound of waves.
This is probably the best view of the Manhattan. The surrounding area is also nice for a walk, there are nice restaurants as well, a park, and it's absolute recommendation to come here if you're a tourist. The time spent in here is not wasted especially if the weather is nice.

We love the water park here. It's runs for a certain time and automatically shuts off. Keeps the kids guessing and chasing after the water. My daughter enjoys this water park most.

My son love going to this park...I just wish was more shade area
Madison park has remodeling done recently and it looks really good after that. All the new children's play equipments are good quality. The design of the playground is good such that there is plenty of open area and lots of slides, jungle gym, swings. Water sprinkler area is large and children love it especially in afternoon sun. Loved the music toys installed in the park, it is play and education at the same time.

Water front experience of hudson river. New York skyscraper scenic view, next to Hoboken ferry and train station. Park is beautiful n lots of people can be seen in and around during summers. Bike rentals and docks are available. Had a great time with family.
This is a wonderful little playground, with areas for bigger kids and tots, with a beautiful view of the river and Manhattan. The only drawback is the fences are falling apart.
Beautiful place to walk and relax. Great place for a relaxing jog. If you like the outdoorsy atmosphere then you'll love this place because it has so many trees and a nice path. It's also a nice place to possibly catch a glance of wild life. They have restrooms along the path, and they are pretty well kept. Only bad thing is that the creek is drying up, but still a pretty place.
The park is nature in itself- it is surrounded by trees. There is also a secret swing here which makes this place more majestic. I will definitely visit here again.

Awesome park. Nice green area offers to our group a large water play area with fun playground equipment nearby. So we enjoyed here a perfect place to take a rest and short stroll.

This Harborside Park there's never a ton of kids there. There are 2 sets of playground equipment -- one for younger kids and one for older kids, though my son likes going to the one for "older" kids. It's adjacent to the Hudson Tea complex and the beautiful waterfront. It looks like there's some construction going on for additional park space which is always welcome. Highly recommend this park if you don't like the crowds at Columbus Park.
