It never looks very well maintained compared to other parks in the area but it's a nice stroll through the woods.
This park is at the end of my block. It's huge.I got lost in there for 5 hours . Not literally lost , but lost in the beauty of it. And over the 4th of July weekend, they had a carnival, there. My grandkids loved it..

This is a great beach! Very clean. In an area with beautiful views.
9 basket disc golf course that is great for beginners and all 9 are par 3 ace runs. Very fun and relaxing hike through the park. I’ve also rented a pavilion there for a graduation party which had a sand volleyball court, horse shoe pit and a fireplace in the pavilion. Would definitely rent again for a party.

What a beautiful white sand beach. The sunsets are incredible
This park is good for 4*4 off-roading on the beach since sand is full of small stones compared to cupsogue beach county park. Park is great for fishing, and the best time to visit is in winter or early spring. It seems like some renovation is going on at the park entrance.
Beautiful Location

amazing clean beach in the Hamptons area, top public on the island and around in general. The waves can be huge is not lucky with swimming conditions but in a good sunny not windy day it can be a blast!
Camping on the beach over labor day weekend was great. No hook ups so you have to fill your fresh water tanks and have a generator running. The bayside is calm and tranquil people love fishing off the rocks. The ocean side is beautiful. Its my favorite beach on the island. It is deep into suffolk county but well woth the drive. You get some of the most gorgeous Sunsets.. .

One of the nicest and cleanest beaches in Long Island. Really peaceful and good for families. Great waves, beautiful sand, not too crowded. Snack shack is a plus!

Community activity with Country Rock Band 'Southbound' performing - great time for families, small children dancing and everyone else line dancing...... A good time was had by all......💃💃💃
During the day you must be a Southampron Town resident to get on the beach......
I been here two to three times to enjoy the beach mostly to fish & have not caught any fish at all. I don't know where the fish are going however, I know that people are taking babies not allowing fish to grow causing lack of fish. All these places use to be the best hotspots to fish & for the past few years it has been very dry. Unless you have a boat & out onshore.
Well maintained park. Close to the bike trail.
Shhhhh!!! This is a hidden gem. There is a small bay side, but if you go towards the beach, it's priceless. Beautiful, clean and not crowded. No lifeguards though so I wouldn't come with the kiddos
Very nice beach! There's a restroom, outdoor shower and a food truck.

The most extraordinary beach I've ever visited outside the Caribbean. It was pristine, as if the entire beach was vacuumed... there was not one morsel of refuse. The wonderful snack bar and spotless bathrooms make you feel that the $50 to park was worth every penny.
Great place for fishing or just hanging out

Low key clean beach. Easy parking. Snack shop and restrooms. Water was cold in mid June, but those who don't mind the brisk temperature went in and enjoyed.
Good spot for fishing and watching the sunset
Beautiful beach and great views. Alittle bit of a drive to get there but worth it.

Thought this beach may have just been hype but was really pleasantly surprised. Gorgeous long stretches of soft white sand that really is one of the cleanest beaches I've been to on the east coast, no shells, seaweed, etc. Gorgeous mansions in the backdrop and amazingly quiet during the week. $50 to park for the day but has restrooms, food, and plenty of space. We went after parking charges ended to catch the sunset.
I have seen bunker, blues and strippers so many I felt I could walk across the inlet. Not too many people, and Oaklands and Sundays are there as well. Gp allen
Stark beauty. Went in March so it was off season, lots of parking and it felt like we had the park to ourselves. Saw a snowy owl.
We love Shinnecock East for single day use, and multi day camping. Gorgeous views, and wide open beaches. In Sumter season there is a food shack, and bathrooms. Live music in Summer season.
Such a tranquil place to walk, fish or just sit back and relax on the beach.
This is one of my absolute favorite places on Long Island! We are so lucky to have such a beautiful natural resources!

I love waters so much and I’ve never been at the beach in such a long time and Coopers Beach satisfied all of my summer getaway cravings! The location is awesome, the locals are very friendly and the staff are amazing! It doesn’t usually get really crowded during weekdays and i felt like we have the beach all to ourselves because we arrived early so we’re like the first beach goers in there. The beach is very clean with helpful lifeguards on duty and very accommodating. It’s quiet, peaceful and is definitely one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to! Highly recommended!

Beautiful beach, but actually for residents only. We didn't know at first when we arrived that it was only for residents, thoigh it was nearly empty and later afternoon so we took our chances to have a short visit since any other beach was a ways away and we were looking for dog friendly beaches. We were very respectful, cleaned up after ourselves and if we're given the option to pay to a fee for our visit would have been happy to do so. There were many other dogs around, nice to see dogs & dog owners respectfully visiting beaches.
Nice beach. Few people there. Looks like the best kept secret. It is a County park, so not subjected to the crazy prices of the Hamptons. Clean beach but rough waves. Looks like amazing for surfing (that I do not do) or just chill and have fun by the nice sand. Parking $7 for residents with Green Key or $15 for visitors. Very reasonable.
If you are a seasoned angler, you already know not to fish weekends, you will see the following, no korkers, 6’ fresh water rods, fresh water lures , people using night crawlers , chunking with 2oz sinkers; jump casting , casting over others and keeping smaller fish.
We love this place. They have a story walk which is nice for the little ones. They also have a small playground which is nice. Lots of trails for walking and mountain biking. They have houses you can rent for parties. I hear the disk golf is good but have not tired it yet. Nice for a quick get out of the house trip.
Nicely maintained park with easy hiking and disc golfing ⛳ (9 holes)

Absolutely beautiful. So peaceful. It looks like its out of a movie.
A beautiful, compact park where you can play disc golf or take solitary walk along numerous trails. There are not that many visitors there generally, today there were two dudes with dogs and one who was playing disc golf. I am definitely comieback for more exploration
Beautiful place for cool breeze and tan.

Quiet, not crowded, and enough space for everyone. Nice boardwalk through vegetation, and bathroom available! With running water for washing hands though
Great spot! Get there early in summer. Fall is amazing. Great photographs, especially during tidal change. Restaurant in walking distance.

Always quiet and peaceful. Feels like a private beach every time.
Nothing but good things to say about this park. Although we've moved, for the previous 2+ years this was my Shepard and my daily go to. Well kept fields for sports, great woods trails, a little Creek, 2 pavilions with barbeques, tennis courts, kids play sets, clean bathrooms...
