My daughter's loved this place. Staff, especially the life guards, are very attentive. That said, bigger kids and "Edgars" tend to hang out where the little kids area is, so that can get a bit awkward. But overall, great indoor pool for kids and we'll be returning for sure.
Clean and safe! If you have a toddler, get a life jacket. My son was tempted to wade into deeper waters a few times. Also recommend weekdays vs weekends
Been here several times. My mother in law purchased a beautiful handmade native American figurine.
We had 2 birthday parties here and we were very pleased with the team of lifeguards as well as the staff. We also swim here during the winter and my kids love it. The slides and diving well are great for bigger kids plus a decent space in the lap pool. The zero depth is good for the littles..
Well, We came and the pool water is amazing for all family, it’s a little bit warm but it’s ok, the pool is perfect for kids, younger and adults. We love everything…. Ah inside de water park have Jacuzzi (Plus). Always Lifeguard was looking and avoiding some problems.. Safe.
Took my 6 year old nephew here and he had an absolute blast! What I liked the most about this pool compared to others we have been to is how highly trained and serious the lifeguards are about their jobs. You never saw them goofing off while they were on watch and the moment anything started going awry in the pool you would hear a whistle blow. You could tell they were really focused while they were in charge and it made me feel really safe knowing how well everyone was being supervised! This place has a large jungle gym in the pool, two water slides, a slide into the diving well and a diving board. It also has a lap pool for adults.

I did not photograph the playground. There is a main playground at the entrance but due to crowds they limit time and charge for entry. There is plenty of fun to be had for free here though!

Stopped by from out of town. Very clean! Lots of fun for the kids, the life guards are on top of it. Free Lockers with a digital lock. And family changing rooms.
Only thing to mention was that summer camp swim is very loud and busy, we got there at 1:15 - the crowd thinned out by 2:30

On Google the information said that the open swim was 3-7 but on the day we visited we were told to exit the pool at 5. Apparently the info is incorrect on Google. Great indoor water park, nice area for younger kids, water slides and a diving board with 12 foot deep water.
Great for swim lessons or if you just want to spend the day at the pool indoors. I'll post an update with more info. I went in for a few minutes after hours to check it out , and it is awesome , really great for the kiddos!!

Admission to playground $2 for residents and $3 for non residents.

A small group of us attended the tour and truly enjoyed the experience. Learning about the home's unique attributes alone would have been worthy of the fees. Add in the intriguing histories of the previous owners from a fun, well versed story telling tour guide really makes it a fun, recommended activity. A hidden gem.

A gorgeous nature center/trail that I've been going to since I was a child. Amazing place to walk solo, with friends, as a couple, or with kids! It's my favorite area to enjoy nature in the suburbs and it just feels a lot safer & more personal than Busse Woods, for example. Enjoy the cabin & the farm, too! So many cool areas to explore.
Wow! A hidden gem of a park and totally worth our time. I've been in this area for many years but never walked this path. Great for kids, dates, pet walking. A very delightful day. The sculptures were varied and having the online map with descriptions helped us learn about each work. The creek and pond with fountain added wonderful water features. I look forward to returning during different seasons too. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables around even with a chess table if you bring your set!
We stopped here out of curiosity and didn't know what to expect. It's a very nice culture center for Native Americans. They have a lot of items on display, some of them very old. There is also a lot of educational material. Nice little hidden gem! It's free with a donation suggested.

We are grateful for Trickster Cultural Center is part of our community. The center features a beautiful arts gallery, artisan made giftshop and major community center for voting, farmer's market hub and more.

We took a small trip up to the city to watch my youngest sister graduate with her BSN. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of places to take pictures, but looking in the area I found this place and I'm so glad we did. Such a great place to take pictures and if I ever come back to the area I would like to go hike the trails as well.
This sculpture park is cool! There are many sculptures. The path through the forest is nice. Over the summer, it becomes abundant with fireflies. It’s truly a spectacular experience to walk through them flying in the darkness at night. We couldn’t believe how many were there when we discovered the path. Nearby, there’s a big pond with a water fountain. ⛲️ There were frogs hopping around the water! 🐸 They’re very fast, and they jump into the water if you near them. The willow tree by the pond is nice. It’s a really nice place to visit.
One of the most beautiful gems in this area! We packed a picnic and a blanket and took in the absolutely stunning grounds around us! Flowers, paths, pond with fountains and swans! I literally couldn't ask for anything more as it was a wonderful afternoon !

Like the park but the trails are so rough its hard to transport kids on the farmy terrian, the graveled rock roads just sucks. My kids fell asleep in the wagon on way back from playground but woke up when we hit the graveled road. Playground is out of this world imaginative. It is so cool. I wish there was a shorter route to get to the playground and theres no flippin’ food at the farm, NONE. No water, we found the nature center had a gatorade vending machine and water fountain and chips at the nature gift shop, but man , starvin’ place needs a food court OBVIOUSLY
Always amazing time ! It’s an adorable little space , my kids love it 😍 fro clowns to chickens , River and farm houses . A lot of cute things. Also s amazing homemade ice cream for 2$

A beautiful nature center with a room of things to look at inside and beautiful gardens and trails outdoors. We stumbled upon a monarch butterfly release which the kids loved. The bison nature playground was great! Good sections of both wet and dry areas for play.
I am so proud to have the Trickster Cultural Center in the same community where I live. I have visited several times and I always learn something new. This is definitely someplace you need to visit if you've heard stories that some of your ancestors were native American Indians but have never seen actual proof. They can help guide you ascertain the truth. If you know that you have ancestors who were native American Indians, or are just interested in finding out more about native American Indians, you will not be disappointed. I highly encourage everyone to visit and check it out.
This is such a picturesque and tranquil park to escape from buzzing highways all around. Trails are well maintained and marked really well.
There is an amazing Bison Playground for kids, it’s not free though and fees are paid at the entrance kiosk (2 per person for a resident, 3 - for a non-resident).
The open farm museum is definitely worth a visit. The cabin has a little waterfall next to it and a pond.

Exploring the trails surrounding the Nature Center was a highlight of my visit. The trails wind through lush forests, picturesque meadows, and serene wetlands. I appreciated the well-marked paths and the variety of trail options, catering to different levels of fitness and interests.
The Heritage Farm was another highlight of my visit. It provided a fascinating glimpse into Illinois’ agricultural history. I had the opportunity to explore the historic farmstead, complete with authentic buildings and artifacts.

Very well curated sculpture park, located in a quiet neighborhood, with art center, fountains, walking trails, dog friendly. Lots of space and grass land to chill and have a good walk with friends.

Place was amazing, plenty of historical items and artefacts to see - volunteer guides were friendly (props to Andrea)

Absolutely spectacular house. Our guide Dan was so well-informed and personable it made the visit even better. Anyone with an interest in history and/or architecture would love to visit this remarkable home.

Beautiful historic home, lovingly preserved. Very active with events that not only contribute to the upkeep but offers intimate performances onsite. House tours also very worth the time. Get on their mailing list, nothing else like it the northwest suburbs.

A hidden architectural gem in Schaumburg! Well worth a visit. Got a great private tour from Dan of both house and studio. Fantastic history and the house is in near original condition. The grounds are wonderful too and great for exploring.
Dan was extremely gracious, friendly, and easy to talk to (I’ve had some rather awkward tour guides, especially in very small groups.) He was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly loves this house, property, and its history. Highly recommend experiencing this gem of residential architecture.
Great little spot to walk around with children or alone. Very interesting and creative sculptures. Perfect place for picture taking because of the beautiful backgrounds. Free!!
I bring my kids here weekly weather permitting. It's such a beautiful peaceful place. There's ppl who dress up from a different time era( not sure which one) there's paths that lead to a lake ,log cabin, a beautiful park and nature center. It would be great if they added sculptures along the paths

Great walk around nature, a quiet place to relax and unwind. Buildings and farms bring back the scenery from the past when people lived without electricity. Good place for kids and families.
Update June 2023- Spring Valley continues to be the go to place for our family when we want to get with nature and not get away too far. The ecosystem of plants, insects (monarch butterfly, honey bees), birds and animals is such a welcome change from urban living. The Bison bluff playground is amazing for little kids.

We went out tonight for their celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day. What fine demonstrations of dancing from American Indians, Maori and Aztecs. I didn’t have a chance to get all the way through the center before the program started, so I’ll return. But what I did see was impressive!
A hidden gem of architecture. Wonderfully maintained and managed, the Schweiker House is a must-see for fans of architecture and design. The grounds feel like a nature retreat, isolated from the bustle of Schaumburg, while being right in the middle of it. Check their website for events and special occasions.
Very nice farm and wonderful place to go with your family. It’s a great place to escape from urban life and to enjoy the beauty of each season. Don’t forget to visit the museum and the old house. There are a lot things you would like to see.
Went while visiting family. They were in the process of repainting, so not all the displays were not all available.
However, the staff was very accommodating. We were shown the available exhibits and given good information about the pieces. The gallery upstairs was beautiful.
I will absolutely visit when I'm in town next time. I can't wait to see the whole place in its usual glory
