I love coming to this Park for the walking trail. The smell of Fresh Air is delightful!! Love how it’s surrounded by cornfields! It is so well maintained. I highly recommend the early mornings as there isn’t much cover while walking. I’ll see you on the trail!

Great baseball fields, but I went there with my granddaughters to see the new little water park they put in. Really nice. Has a fence around for safety. Nothing unsafe. Couple of misting towers and some upward shooting sprinklers. Also a nice little playground right next to the water park. Picnic tables are between the 2 parks and covered.

Great, fun and welcoming park! LOVE the splash pad. Even the mist one are great for adults 😅 The umbrella sprinkler was out, sadly, but they still had a blast!

Very nice clean and well spaced park- multiple ball field, tennis courts, pavilions, facilities well spaced throughout the park - well done

One of my favorite parks in the area. Not the biggest park but it has multiple baseball fields. Has your typical playground activities but I think what sets it apart from others it that is has a mini water part for kids to stay cool.

I don't recommend this place. You'll lose your time. If you're looking for a place to fish look some where else.

Well-maintained, eye-catching for kids. My grandson can stay for hours!

Good Place to hang out with Dog and kids. They have sand volleyball too…

Nice, big playground. Better than Fisher park.

Nice place, pretty big area and walking trail. I take my dog here when I'm driving through the area

Great park for kids. The equipment is new and very fun. They also have a nice path for kid bikes and scooters. No large hills.

the main thing i do here is play pickleball, but my kiddos have also played on the jungle gym next to the courts, and they liked it.
this is the premiere place to play (free) pickleball in the harrisburg area -- there is a paddle rack for open play (16 paddles) that operates basically year round, mornings starting at 9am and evenings starting at 4:30pm -- there is an FB group that is currently public -- so if no one is there to play, just go post and someone will probably come out. restrooms are closed during the winter months, and not in great condition. there are basketball courts and tennis courts -- 4 pickleball courts live on the end of the tennis courts (see the video) -- they were recently resurfaced, but unfortunately there are already a bunch of dead spots, one bubble that will likely turn into a hole at some point.
the play here for open play is on the intermediate-advanced to advanced side (3.7+) -- pickleball is a funny beast because on one hand, it is very social/community oriented -- but on the other, everyone likes to be challenged and play good games. So it is a mixed bag, if you are just starting out, you will find some people here that will be willing to play with you joyfully and teach you (just tell people you are starting and want to learn), but you will also find people hear who had come for a good game, and they might come off a little frustrated that you are playing -- so just read the room -- there was a really good video i saw about etiquette when i started playing earlier this year, and one of the things it said was, "if you realize you are playing with 3 other people that are significantly more advanced than you, don't overstay your welcome -- play a game, thank them, and then try to put you paddle in the rack with some other people who are closer to your level" -- this is easier said than done at Creekview because almost everyone who plays here regularly is pretty skilled. So yeah just have fun and be kind.
there are other places to find games in the area -- smashpoint pickleball is a paid-indoor spot (that offers beginners lessons), Adam's Ricci and Wass park (both within 15 minute's drive) have paddle racks and you will likely be able to find people to play at each, similar times. ACE pickleball (paid/indoor) is coming in spring of 2024 and will be very nearby the CV courts.
there are court lights (you buy time with quarters) -- they are not amazing lights, they are LED, but there should be more -- some dark spots on the courts.
Park closes at 11pm.
If it's autumn, bring a leaf blower to clear the courts off -- everyone will appreciate that.
One downside is a sewage treatment plant nearby -- occasionally you get some pretty crazy smells while you're playing.

A decent small park. There seems to be a big jump between the toddler section (mainly geared towards two and under) and a climbing oriented park which is probably better for 10 and up. The surrounding park is simple but well maintained and scenic

Always well kept and restrooms always open during park hours!!

Nuce park for Senior pictures. Oh, and a good spot for kayaking and canoes!

Great park tennis courts , basketball courts, volleyball, kids playgrounds, pavilion for picnic with grill, bathrooms , sidewalk for walking, baseball field, real nice

Americana at its best! A great place to watch baseball. Great playground for the kids.

First ever Fall Festival for Upper Allen. Weather was dreary, but that didn't stop folks from coming out. It is a great all around park for sports and a place for kids to enjoy a great playground. Great walking path too.

Nice and quiet, hidden. Walking area, pavilions, fire place, porta potty restrooms, creek

Very nice soccer park! I understand why they call it "Hidden!" 😁

It was nice until about 7:40 pm when it smelled like sewage. It was so strong. Plenty of areas to eat.

This park is well kept and maintained. The kids get to climb in and out of buildings similar to castles. Covered pavilions available. Pack a picnic lunch to make a great outing. Thankyou to the church that provides this to the community.

Nice park with kids play area, volleyball court and restroom

Great place to take the bike an just walk around enjoying the scenery

The park is really nice with brand new playground equipment: two areas for bigger kids and a separate area for toddlers. Note that you cannot really watch your toddlers and your big kids at the same time; the play areas are a bit far apart.
This park gets very busy in fall and spring with baseball, especially on the weekends but if you plan it right you can catch the old-fashioned concession stand!

Super chill place with updated equipment. Beautiful creek runs alongside the park. Nice pavilions.

Great spot to access the creek. Very popular, so it can get really crowded on busy days.

Have been using this park as a pull out spot for tubing for a few years now. The water isn't too deep, but it's fast moving.

We had our annual picnic of 80 people.. good well maintained

A bit crowded in the afternoon on a hot July Saturday, but this is a great spot for creeking. Bring tubes and put in at the top and enjoy a nice float even just to the end of the park, then walk back. Repeat until you tire of luxurious free floating then pack it up and leave.
Picnic tables are sprinkled throughout and children and pets love this park.

My granddaughter loves this park! Her shoe did get caught on the side of the slide coming down and it just about pushed her over the open side of the tall slide. So we now only use the one slide that is completely closed. Just be careful when wearing sneakers going down the slides.

Love going here with the family to let them play or exercise. Not to mention the pokestops and gyms that are located here! Great place for a family outing!

Restored Mill now used for various functions. Great place to launch a kayak down to the Susquehanna River along the Bent Creek.

The movie on the park was the best. It was well done. My kids and I had lots of fun. The kids had fun playing on the playground before the movie. Thank you to the sponsors and those who came out, and helped.

Great park to get your kayaks and/or tubes in and out of the stream. People are very friendly and there's lots of parking on the side of the road. It does get crowded during weekends in summer but people are part of the experience so lots of fun to be had.

It is a great park. It was nice to see the original paintings on the building from when it was an amusement park. I loved coming here when i was a kid. The park is beautiful. RJ and I had fun. I plan to come back with my other son Jackson so both can play. The memorial for those in the military is beautiful.

Stopped at this park a little bit off the highway while on a road trip. It was super fun and my kids enjoyed exploring and playing pretend. It is a bit worn down and needs maintenance but it didn’t impact the ability to play!

This park has so many options for fun! Great seating for picnics. Water misters. Really great variety of playground equipment !

Awesome park for all ages. They have everything that you dreamed in a park such as baseball ground, basketball court, soccer fields, swings, and many more fun experiences. They even have a picnic spot with fountain nearby. They also have two porta potty to use in an emergency situations. They also have little trail but it’s not long enough. I consider everyone who reads this review to come here with their families and have some fun.

This park has a nice variety of play structures as well as swings. There are benches, and shaded seating with picnic tables as well. The fields are well tended. The tennis courts can also be used for pickle ball. When we went there was ample parking. My 4 and 7 year old kiddos love this park.
There are also nice clean restrooms.

This park truly reflects its name. It has a variety of spaces created to keep people of all ages busy.
It has play structures that help kids of different ages develop various skills by making them go through different adventure courses. It has a separate play area for toddlers and for older kids. The play area consists of swings, a sand box, tunnels, a climbing wall, monkey bars of different heights etc. I did see a lot of folks who seemed to be regulars to this park.
The park also contains volleyball ball courts and football fields.
It also has an area for outdoor exercise equipment. This is partially shaded and so it can be used in any weather.
There are two large covered picnic areas with multiple benches as well. Nice spot to have a picnic with an area for kids to play around.
Last but not the least, it also has a frisbee golf setup for folks to go and play frisbee golf.
Overall a great park right off 81 freeway with ample parking spots and clean restrooms. Highly recommend and will definitely visit again.

The water was very low. We need a good rain.

Nice spot to kayak ... sit or walk

Playground is in disrepair. Rotting boards, exposed screws and nails, hole on decking where a board is missing. A small child could easily break an ankle stepping in this hole. Playground surface has buckled and is no longer smooth and is developing holes.

What a fun park!! So much to explore. My kids had a blast! We stopped here on the way home from Hershey Park.

Monkey bars are a bit short. My feet drag. Clean and nice facilities, great place for pickleball. Has a bathroom, never used it. Sometimes people play soccer here. Don't bother looking through the gap in the woods, it's just a field with old hay bails.

I would love to give this playground a 5 star review because it has such potential to be great but unfortunately the church is seriously neglecting this playground!!!!!!! it is extremely dangerous so have caution!! There are exposed rusty nails all over the playground where the parts are broken off of the jungle gym. The playground area is mostly fenced in (aside from the entrance) but back in the toddler playground (near the swings) there is a piece of the fence completely broken off with over a dozen exposed nails. Not to mention the large beam that must have split when the fence broke. This playground could cause some SERIOUS injuries. My fiancé tried to contact the church to make them aware and I’m pretty sure we aren’t the first family to bring this to their attention.

Having a boring weekday/ weekend ? Do head out with your family/ friends with some food/ drinks and chairs to make a small picnic out of that day

Love this beautiful park. So much nature to enjoy.

It has a little of something for all ages. Not a place my very young kids could play at for a long time due to limited things they could do, but it made a pleasant short stop and would be great for a family with a large range of ages.

Went here for a little walk by the creek on the trail! Long trail and teen thought views were cool and saw a Canadian goose and a robin! Wonderful park will be back here again!

This park is extremely pretty in the spring and fall time. There is plenty of area for blankets and picnics along the creek..or up behind if you follow the walking trail. Right now the park is full of the spring time fishermen, dog walkers, and joggers..but you still aren't bothered by others. Still fairly peaceful and plenty of space.
It's not usually an overran park unless it's a summer weekend. Avoid Simpson Park if you're not there for the water. it's a popular drop and pick up point for kayakers..and there is literally no parking at all. Now if you're a kayaker or a floater..this a good spot for you!
The park has a pavilion for renting if you're in need of that kind of thing. small play ground, volley ball nets, etc. Almost always the people using this park leave with what they came with..so it stays pretty clean.
literally the only reason i'm leaving a 4 star review is because ALWAYS..the bathrooms are nasty. Super Dirty. It's a male/female bathroom single person for each. Why not just make them Unisex bathrooms at that point?? No running water so it's an outhouse which is fine...but if you're not going to keep them nice, or even slightly clean can you add porter potties on other spots of the park? I will leave the park to find a bathroom and come back before i'd use the one there

Quiet, private park. Great equipment in working order, but we got a bit muddy as it's too early in the year for fresh mulch. I found nearby on-street parking and walked the short distance to the play equipment with my toddler.

This is a nice nature area with some wildlife you don't see everywhere like muskrat and snapping turtles. The animals don't bother you if you don't bother them. The pond is also a great place to introduce young children to fishing. There is an area for handicapped people to fish from too. Great place for a picnic. There are nice picnic tables near the pond. There is also a seasonal bathroom

Great park with a baseball field.. volleyball court and basketball courts..not a lot for very young kids though

Beautiful park, full of life. Large park area on the side of yellow breeches Park, one of the nicest ones in this area. Loved spending my lunch here walking around. Clean, lots of parking. Scenic little area

Lots and lotsa free open space, nice pavilion, playground area for kids is great, ball fields and tennis courts nice, rest rooms very clean, modern, and complete. Best park I know of around Mechanicsburg with Memorial Park a stone's throw away. Maintenance is superb, park is clean, quiet, beautiful, well maintained facilities in the whole park. Great place for families.

Super nice park. So much equipment for a nice range of ages. Love the soft foam ground. Kids all played nicely together. There is a walking trail and exercise section. Also saw a disc golf near the walking trail.

My first time visiting, it is a cute park with a rustic type trail! My little guy found a puddle that made him very happy 😁

Nice park with an easy walking path & playground, benches, shade trees, a covered pavilion, tennis & volleyball courts. Worth a visit if you have a small family.

Cool free park right off of the freeway. Good place for the kids to run around for an hour while traveling to Hershey for a chocolate factory tour. There are quite a few bees and wasps however. So keep your eyes open. The set up is cool and engaging for kids younger than eight.

Fun playground and lots of green space. There are also some baseball fields and a small pavilion with picnic tables.

Beautiful little park. Nice people. Good dogs. Nice walking paths. Always nice to run into some cute pooches and spend some time with them on a walk. Thankful that most of the folks I run into are responsible dog owners with big hearts. Love me some big, goofy rescue dogs!

A prominent amenity this park offers is the 9 hole disc golf course. And on the day of my last visit, there were several groups of people participating. There is a pavilion good for group picnic and organized activity. And a rather small 2-slide playground for kids. It's along side the Conodoguinet Creek and so fishing would be another possible activity. In fact, this was the place where I first tried fishing when I moved to PA. There is nice boat launch ramp but an overkill nevertheless because the creek being only 1-2 feet deep, only kayaks, canoes, and floats would be usable. Ambiance-wise, this park feels rather dumpy and disorganized -- maybe partly due to the landscape design. The road is also in desperate need for maintenance. Absolutely not a good place for hiking or even a short walk.

Simpson park is a wonderful place to visit..it's dog friendly and has pavilion's, restrooms, grills. And you can go tubeing or play horseshoes, badminton and valley ball on a sand court and even disc golf.

Creek was beautiful but I wish the lacrosse game wouldn't have been so loud. It was hard to enjoy the natural beauty with all the coaches yelling and whistles blowing.

Very busy park. Lots of activities going on, obviously in the warm weather. Playground is big, decent, clean and great for ages 2-6.

Tiny but beautiful park on a river. Boating, fishing, picnic tables and frisbee course all seemed pretty popular while we were there.

I really enjoyed this park we had my grandsons graduation party there and it was very nice I will go back ☺️

Fantastic park that has something for every age!
Equipment is good for all ages. Climbing wall. Mister sprayers. Maze. Musical instruments. Many places to sit either on benches or tables to eat. Plus nice paved walking trails all around. Love the spongy pad under equipment instead of mud or mulch. Only con is it can get very busy with all the fields surrounding it, and then it can feel packed and overwhelming for very little ones or kids with sensory issues.

I absolutely love coming to McCormick. It's peaceful when you walk or just to sit and have a picnic by the creek. It's just somewhere nice and it makes me so happy when I go there It always puts a smile on my face! Great place to trail walk or even running!

My family and I love coming to this park. It has nice playground areas for different age ranges along with baseball fields and open spaces to play more free reign games. There is also tennis courts and a basketball court along with a walking trip the whole way around.
Not only do our kids enjoy playing at the park, but my partner and I enjoy walking around the trail, it’s located next to farms so the scenery is beautiful.

Beautiful park in Hampden Township, with playground and swings, several picnic tables and eating pavilions, and a short walking trail. Be sure to visit during the fall— the orange and red leaves are a sight to behold!

Winding Hill Park North is a very impressive park, with many amenities. Upon arrival you will be in ah the amount of space, the park takes encompasses. It is huge, soccer fields every where, baseball/softball fields tucked in, basketball courts placed appropriately, walking trails weaving throughout the park and a huge children's playground. The playground is well placed out, with every type of swing climbing wall and fun feature to entertain your child while their brother or sister are performing on the field. Additionally, plenty of parking, pavilions to get away from the weather. Just remembered to consider where the sun will set if you have an evening game to watch in determining which side of the field you sit. You maybe looking right into the sun as it meets the horizon and your sibling is at the plate.

Nice soccer fields and a short walk by the creek!

It is a nice and beautiful park. Variety of sports activities are available in this park. They have nice playgrounds and very clean restrooms. It is great for communities. Their pickleball courts next to the tennis courts are getting more popular these days.
When I visited last evening, the lights on the parking lot next to the restroom in the south were all turned off. It was around 7pm and getting darker. There were still people in the playground and the pavilion next to the parking lot, and also several cars were leaving from the parking lot. It looked kind of dangerous to walk to our car in the dark at that time.
By the way it is a great time to observe all the beautiful trees changing their colors and there were a lot of them in the middle of the most beautiful season a year.

It is a great park with lots of things to do.
There is a very nice Disc Golf Course.
It has 9 holes with concrete tees.
Next to each tee, there is a sign informing about the hole.
There is a big pavilion, several picnic benches and playground as well.
There is also a creek access to Conodoguinet Creek.
This acces looks wider and longer compared to other places. It looks like you can bring your car to this place and get off your kayak right off the creek.

Quiet place for a short morning walk/jog. Nice shaded area near the Breaches for picnic. We stop here often when canoeing.

The girls had fun on all the unique climbing elements. It's a fun playground in a beautiful area!

Nice place to put kayaks and tubes into the Yellow Breaches. Parking lot gets overly crowded. Bathrooms and pavilion onsite.

I love taking my son fishing here. And when we are done fishing, we go over & play on the swings. Great family place & in general just a great place to fish with peace & relaxation.

Nice small little pond here for fishing and playground for lil kids. Quiet area with a portajohn and charcoal grills setup with benches and a pavilion.

Nice short and well kept park and 9 hole disc golf course

Great little park and pretty good ball fields. The playground is very simple, but clean and in great shape. It would be nice if they had seating or a pavilion a little closer to the water.

Community park along the Conodoguinet Creek. Creek access is rustic through the edge trees and weeds but with a pretty good beach. Park in the big main lot and walk along the chain link fence down to the creek. Make your own path. Calm creek area is nice for sitting and kids to play in. Water is only about a foot or two deep in the summer. Good shade along the creek but too wet to sit on the ground. Picnic tables are up from the creek edge in the main area. The park is not very developed and simple. Nice open field areas for flying kites.

Lovely, well-kept play equipment. Super fun gravel pit. Picnic benches. Great for picnics!

Excellent Soccer Fields. Great playground for the kids and great canopy for parties etc. Very clean Restrooms.

I upgraded this park from a one star from several years ago because it's pet friendly now.

I am most time here when I was during weekend. U know why. Here have a small pond many fish is there. Easy for fishing And fun. Highly recommend.

Great little park next to the conodoguinet creek and at the tail end of Milfording Highlands neighborhood. PSA- bring your bug spray though!

Beautiful park. Great for kids. One of the most lively little league fields I've seen in a long time. Working with malco landscaping we revamped the drainage area across the street. Broke a track and blew seals out of a hydro pump in the process.

The place was a great atmosphere however they have their picnic tables wire together and it's a bad tripping hazard a elderly lady tripped and fell today during a birthday party other than that change the place is awesome

I really wish the nature path connected to the park completely like it connects to the sidewalk at the Kindergarten Academy. I'd also wish to see actual bathrooms, otherwise it's a great little park.

Absolutely wonderful park with wonderful playgrounds for children of all ages. The newest playground is even accessible and the perfect play place for toddlers of all ages and walking abilities! My two girls, 19mos and 3 years, absolutely loved this playground and we will definitely be back!

We just stopped here on our way trough the area and loved how clean this park was. It was right on the river and had lots of places to sit and eat, a playground for the kids, disc golf, a small riparian wetland habitat, and lots of walking trails. I could have spent a whole afternoon here!

This is a great place to bring kids to reach them how to fish, it has a great jungle him for the youngsters to play at, and great scenery along trout run. This is also a great place to have a picnic because of it's pavilion and various picnic benches around the park. You could also grill here because of the charcoal grills located around the park.
