It's a very nice spot the food is a little expensive but that's just how it is this far east on the island. During the summer on week days groups of classic cars park by the beach. All in all a very nice spot
I was mainly fishing on the pier. It's made of stone, and it looks beautiful. You can watch the sunset from the pier, and it's a great view.
Such a nice place to park and watch a sunset, if you're feeling endearing you can walk along the rocks but be sure to bring your sneakers and maybe some bug spray for the mosquitoes

This place is well designed and a bit jealous as this was just woods when I was growing up here, but then again in those days we could play unsupervised in the woods. It was a different, more immersive time...

Huge, dog friendly, kid friendly, bathrooms, plenty of parking, very clean, well maintained grounds.
Good luck trying to figure out where to park. ALL beach roads are Town Roads that all require a parking permit. Last but not least, from what I've seen in this area, its no different than any other south shore. What you see here is exactly the same as ALL the others. Surrounding Real Estate is the only difference. UPDATE: Found the actual location. Do not follow Google maps. Enter the actual name of the Park. It's on the eastern end of where Google maps takes you. And there is parking for non residents

Very nice park for walking or hiking. There are some picnic areas as well.
My first time at Meschutt Beach. Live music, food and beverages, great assortment of merchandise is offered there.
Beach is clean. Picnic area was clean. Great hangout spot with local people.
We attended a birthday 🎂 celebration.

What playground doesn't have swings? Still nice though, the grounds were cared for and the place was very clean considering there was an event just a day before.

Great park with walking paths, amphitheater type seating area and a playground for smaller kids.
Wasn't at the skate park but the small area for toddlers next to the ball fields is great. Clean and lots of room to run

Great turf field here. They have like 3-5 fields with working scoreboards and tennis courts and basketball courts and a running and walking trail and a playground for the kids. Pet friendly with an animal shelter on premises.Great place to have fun
Great beach. Excellent pavilion with snack bar. Amazing fried chicken sandwich. Clean bathroom and outdoor (cold) showers.

It is a beautiful place. If you don't care about ticks - then I guess this is a wonderful, quiet place. But if you do, stay away. We had hundreds of seed ticks - HUNDREDS - all over us and our dog. I don't know - might be thousands. We didn't go into the woods either - we stayed on the path and did the short 30 minute hike. Be careful.
One of the best beaches on Long Island! Always a good time here!
Best beach ! Is so clean and have bathroom and they sell food ! Amazing spot
Great hidden gem! Loved the crystal clear waters and the great family-friendly vibe. The beach is amazing and a great escape from the city heat!

Strange trail, starts off as a car trail that leads to someone’s house. After you pass the house a cool walking trail starts that takes you to a marsh and then a spectacular beach. Definitely worth doing I would wear boots the marsh is a bit sloppy.

Great escape for walking through trails. Beautiful and quiet with a lake in the middle. I didn't rate it a 5-star, only because the entrance had eluded us every time. My son and I even walked the road trail for awhile to try and find the main entrance, unless there isn't one? If someone knows, please share! Loved being there, though! We were there on a beautiful day a week ago; perfect for pictures!
No bikes aloud after driving 40 minutes...I mean unreal. Parks manager told me no bikes and I asked why and he just walked away. Definitely don’t recommend going here. Horrible ramps screws everywhere and holes in every ramp with loose slats especially the bowl.
The jungle gym is great for all kids. The trails are fun to walk, and you can ride your bike or scooter around the paved walkways throughout. Wonderful Thursday night concerts in the summer.

Helmet and pads required. $10 for out of towners.
The floor is smooth. Ramps do need work but it's not horrible conditions. The quarter ramps are actually steep so I skip. But they do have a mini piece where you can practice anything. Cant beat that
Overall park is good. Trails are nice and 2 parks for little little ones and one for bigger little ones. Bathrooms need serious updating and make sure you wear bugspray, ticks are a serious issue in this area.
Beautiful beach. Must have parking stick in season to park at remote beaches
Magical magical place.....our favorite beach on the east coast!❤

We decided to go on a trail in this park and let me tell you how glad I was we did not have our dog with us! After a few steps in, we saw that the trail was blocked off by tall grass and bushes so we decided to turn around. Apparently that few steps was enough for over 100-200 ticks to jump on us. We noticed the itchiness but they were so small that it took us a bit to see them. We had to get our car detailed since they were still there after we tried cleaning the car ourselves. Save your self the time and money and go after tick season!

I think it’s an old girl/boy scout camp. The town bought it to preserve the property. So there are some old run down structures on the property. But the park is almost all woods which is more and more rare on the East End. The property sits at the top of a bluff which overlooks Peconic Bay and has one of the best sunset views still open to the public. It’s the woods so there will always be ticks. Same way you’ll get sandy at the beach. Just the price of doing business. Its something new to check out in the area that not many people know about.
This is a great beach to bring young kids to. It is on the Peconic Bay, which is not rough with waves like the ocean. The sand is real soft and fine now, best it's ever been. Good parking available. They have a food stand and bar for drinks. They have bands with live music. Great views and sunsets. My favorite beach to to bring my family.
Beautiful park we are so lucky to have it.

Outstanding vest pocket park with a hilly walking trail through the woods and a very thoughtful one tenth mile circular paved path which is perfect for seniors exercise walking. Includes a water fountain in summer and four benches for sitting. Five trips around, a half mile. :-). The nature trail is a little challenging for seniors but it’s a rewarding one mile hike if you’re up to it. Marked, but could be better and I hope additional trails will be marked...they are there, just need a little maintenance and marking. Use different colored marking for new trails and put a little more thought into the marking.

This is a great addition to Hampton Bays...thank you Southampton!
Beautiful beach!! Great for family's with children the water is always so calm and clear! My family and I frequently come to this beach for many years and it never disappoints. I usually only purchase drinks and maybe fries or loaded tacos from the hut and even with the change of ownership the drinks seem to still be good. It can get crowded especially on the weekends but still enjoyable. If your a resident get a green key it is well worth it instead of paying $18 to get in. Unless you come after 4 when its free. Love Meschutt best beach in my opinion!
Fun little park with a skatelite kidney bowl. Has a street course and some ramps as well. Fun, not A grade but it will do.

The locals show us the habitat and the peacefulness. Please protect the habitat and respect what the nature is given us.
A long drive to a peaceful place. But sometimes private choppers fly by and are noisy. Beautiful beach.
RCP offers tennis courts, basketball courts, several baseball fields, a detailed skate park, a roller-hockey rink, sanded volley ball courts, two children's playgrounds, soccer fields, aaand I don't believe I'm missing anything else. The real appeal (for me, anyway) is the woods in the back of the park. There are about 65 acres of woods with many trails and sights. There's a pond back there that I run around, the distance from the park around the pond and back being about 3 miles. It has WONDERFUL views!
