J'ai passé une journée absolument magnifique au parc des Lices . Nous avons pique-niqué sous les pins parasols, et c'était incroyablement agréable. L'ombre des arbres et la fraîcheur de l'herbe offrent un cadre idéal pour se détendre et profiter d'un moment de tranquillité. Pour ceux qui aiment l'activité physique, le parc propose un parcours de course et plusieurs appareils pour se muscler et faire du cardio. C'est parfait pour maintenir sa forme tout en profitant de l'extérieur. De plus, il y a un terrain de jeux de boules disponible, ajoutant une touche conviviale à l'ensemble. Un endroit vraiment sympa pour passer du temps en famille ou entre amis!
Tough ride to get there and in the zoonot really enjoyable ride if you have small kids that require a buggy. It's very steep and lots of holes in the ways. Yes, very small zool - we were done in <30min, and we spent a lot of time with each animal we saw (we saw 7, including the donkey and goat). The cages seemed indeed small, and everything looked very ramped down (fences were taped with wire that they still hold 😂😂). It's definitely not worth the ride, but maybe we are just used to different experiences when it comes to zoos...
On the positive note, they started to refurbish a lot of cages. All the best for the future to the team that was nice and especially the animals.

Parc très agréable à proximité de la gare. Pratique quand la correspondance est un peu longue, rien de mieux que de se poser dans le parc des lices pour bouquiner.
Fantastic zoo! Staff are really passionate and are clearly doing a great job caring for these animals. It’s important to visit as the money spent on the tickets will improvise their facility and make enclosures even better.

Un parfait endroit pour se ressourcer, pour vider son esprit, magnifique endroit pour des pic-nique , pour faire du sport pour des randonnées et pour ceux qui adorent la nature et aussi vous aurez une splendide vue de Toulon d'en haut

A la place de monter en téléphérique, cette fois, avec la voiture. Superbes points de vue durant toute la route. Arrivée au point le plus haut, des parkings gratuits. Toujours une vue magnifique, je ne me laisse jamais, à faire en toute saisons.

Très bonne atmosphère, de très bonnes ondes dans cette Église... Également idéale pour les concerts avec chorale ( cœur chants ) le son ressort très bien...
Magnifique église qui m'a plus beaucoup. Vue pendant la journée Européenne des monuments le dernier week-end à Toulon.

Petit musée très sympathique et c'est complètement gratuit pour faire la visite.
Une église atypique. Sa façade avec ses colonnes, tout d’abord, donnent l’impression d’entrer dans un palais de justice. L’intérieur de l’église est aussi atypique. Très sobre, un toit voûté en demi cercle et les mêmes colonnes de type greco-romaines.
A noter le magnifique oratoire en bois sculpté.
On peut visiter une crypte dont l’acoustique est très particulière.

Ce lieu, en plein Toulon, offre toujours de superbes expositions dans un cadre intimiste.

Les expos du moment sont vraiment top. Le bâtiment est original. C'est gratuit. Les gens qui s'en occupent sont sympas. En plus il y a la clim... comment peut on critiquer ce lieu c'est incroyable quand je lis certains commentaires... ?!!!
Really nice museum ( good for kids and grownups ) with a nice garden , playgrounds , there's lots of old trees so it's not too hot , and some water to play around with ( little fountain /river ) .

Visiting this “zoo” was a sad experience. The history of animal care has clearly been forgotten. The animals seem bored and distressed, with very small cages. There was no staff caring or sharing knowledge of the animals. I hope some of my money goes towards the animal care and eventual closure.

Toulon la ville de mon enfance... j'aime particulièrement le port de plaisance, les bateaux qui sortent dans la rade de Toulon , le bateau pour la Seyne sur mer , le bateau pour la presqu'ile de St Mandrier , Le port de la Marine nationale avec parfois le Charles de Gaulle en vedette , J'aime particulièrement cette ville.
Not a very instagramable place for an excursion. There is no heating and they don’t provide lunch. The employees will not go into detail on equipment and battle strategies and you don’t get to touch any of the buttons or they get really, really mad. Some design choices are questionable. The auditorium has a discoball though- very cool.
This place is beautiful. I spend most of the days at the library. The environment is peaceful and centre of the city.

Ville submergée par le bruit près du musée de la Marine que j'ai pu visité Certaines pièces d'artillerie sont tres impressionnante mais tout n'est pas rose dans cette ville et aujourd'hui encore toulon est à l'honneur avec l'arrivée d'un bateau de tourisme "le viking océan 🤷♂️🛳

The story behind the zoo is really beautiful and shows that the keepers of this zoo have a big heart for animals.
Almost all the animals here are feline. The animals look very well taken care of. There is also a lot of info about the animals so it’s not only nice to see but also educational.
Some enclosures however seem a little to small and could use some modernization. But they seem to have a lot of toys to play with and they all had fresh (some even streaming) water in there enclosure. Overall the animals looked very happy. I would go again if i’m ever in the neighborhood again. (Especially for cute little retired Yvonne the raccoon)

Une ville que j'aime de tout mon cœur, je viens à Toulon depuis 2011.
Impossible de changer de ville pour mes vacances, à recommander c'est une ville dynamique et surtout sécurisée avec des caméras de sécurité dans la ville.
Je me sents très à l'aise, je sais très bien que la ville est très surveiller.

Un petit musée gratuit sur Toulon exposant de belles photos. Des expositions variées qui tournant tout au long de l’année… J’aime y découvrir l’œil du photographe et apposer mes impressions dans le livre d’or…

We were shocked by the treatment of the animals, all the cages were far too small and clearly not well maintained. I'm surprised its still allowed to be running. We both left almost in tears and are very upset that we gave this zoo our money, I would advise anyone to avoid it.
le parc canin est situé dans un très bon endroit, au calme, loin du bruit de la grande ville. Le parcours pour chiens est très bien réparti, ainsi que l'espace pour l'aire de jeux pour chiens est suffisant. Malheureusement, il n'y a pas de banc pour s'asseoir et poser ses affaires ainsi que l'absence d'un robinet d'eau dans lequel les chiens pourraient s'abreuver est un manque total d'imagination...
The harbour tour is fantastic for any mil nerds (like me) two mistral side by side are impressive.

So beautiful ! This garden is relaxing, calm but there's a space for kids. Moreover, the library at the end of the garden is awesome.

Fun for an hour and a half. It is very tired and is in desperate need of investment in everything. To be positive, the animals appear in good condition and well looked after. None of them looked insane like the polar bear at Glasgow zoo. My daughter enjoyed herself. The picnic tables have a great view.

Very child-friendly! Lots to keep them occupied. Many seating areas. You can even organize birthday parties!.

J'ai vécu à Toulon et aux.... alentours de 1951 à 1958.C'etait une ville jeune et dynamique et quand les marins débarquaient de st mandrier et de l'Arsenal ,il fallait voir cette effervescence ! sans compter tous les bateaux de guerre dont le PA Lafayette que j'ai eu l'opportunité de voir de très près,mon père étant affecté à ce dernier.

Beautifully orned with images and status of the Blessed Virgin. It has an impressive adoration altar.
Having kids we are always on the lookout for the places we visit to have good fun rides for the kids, this is one of them. Good shade for very sunny day, and even better, the old big trees, protects against the strong winds also. Good for picnicking and other family related activities.

Although I visited at night and I found the park very interesting, good for work out ,strolling and to take some air . .
Eine Kirche von einen aussergewöhnlichen Erscheinungsbild, von aussen und noch mehr von innen, ich meine sie sieht mehr aus wie ein Tempel und das ist wohl auch beabsichtigt, wie auch das Gemälde zeigt, Jesus Tanz im Tempel.
Ich finde sehr außergewöhnlich, aber muss man besucht haben.

A place that's nice to visit with friends or family, the trees are very old and tall and big and there's a flowing water at the end part of this parc that was very useful for drinking and for washing clothes during the ancient times...

Fantastic view! The cable car ride is great and good value for money. The brasserie at the top however is a different story. Bad and slow service, the food was served late cold and not what we ordered. Have a drink there and enjoy the view but don't eat there!
