I don't really like this place, not at all. But I gotta go by or through it to catch the bus. You can just feel the absence of hope here

I actually really love the scenery around there, the city is also making a big difference around. You can't also relax downtown without the controversy of arrivals.

Sucks if you're going to court lol. However it's a beautiful part of downtown close to Fulton mall and places to eat. It's also a nice place to just sit and breath for a bit. Easy to get a ride as well since it is the connecting point for several buses

The trees are beautiful, this day was beautiful, it was surprisingly clean. I do wish there was more of a visual presence of security. As a person who is only down here for jury duty it would be nice to have that feeling of safety.

May have been nice to visit at some moment in time, but more homeless pass through and it seems more concrete than park. I'm not sure it's worth improving as it's a pedestrian area giving access around downtown court and legal buildings. I don't think it's a place you would visit for anything other than that.

Parking is limited. Be prepared to pay for parking whether with coins or card. Downtown will never improve until the City removes the meters. City employees are like DMV, very slow. And very few clerks available.
Had a Beautiful day with family for my Grand daughter my Boo Baby.
Dish Park is very clean lots of slides and things for kids to do wish there was more Parks like this around Fresno I highly recommend families to bring their kids to have

Wish there were outlets available in the area reserved for bday party and definitely need some lights, I had to clean up in the dark. Aside from that the park is clean and feels secure for the kids to play. I enjoyed the open area to set up activities for the kids.

Service depends on who is on duty at time of visits. Great money saving coupons. Otherwise high prices. Hard seats. Few guests dining inside. Restrooms locked and few staff to ask for key. Predictable menu recipes.

A lovely park to take young kids. We brought our 14 month old and he had a lot of fun walking around and checking everything out. We came here after other reviews said it was o e of the best parks in town. It has a neat basketball court, an educational payh that lists the California State bird, mammal, etc. It would also be a great spot for a picnic. Cheers!

Rodeing park is always nice. No matter what. We went there at 7:30am for family pictures. And that was a wonderful time. No one bothered us, and it was free to get in. No charge. And all the cool stuff they have there, in the park like the zoo and story land, is awesome. My whole childhood all right there.
I visited the Island Waterpark for the first time in probably 20 years 🙃. I forgot how fun some of the slides are. We rented a cabana in the kid swim area as we were celebrating a children's birthday. The kid area is really cool,.I don't remember it having so many cool water slides for the little ones. I like how this park is mapped out, there were groups of slides about 3 to 4 slides per area. So you could go to one area and then go on multiple slides and work your way through them. The lazy river was probably my fabric part, relaxing and refreshing. They no longer allow rafts on the wave pool, which I think is great, it's much safer that way. We went on a weekday and there was no crowds. The longest we waited for a slide was maybe 10 minutes. I do wish there were more trees and green spaces here, most of the park is cement and canopies, but not too many shaded green spaces. It's also right next to the 99 freeway so pollution and noise is a factor, more green spaces would do a lot for this Waterpark. It's $40 a ticket and a $5 processing fee online, parking is another $5. I think that's a bit steep for a water park, I'm sure it also takes a lot of money to operate a water park. Regardless, it's a nice experience with the family.

I may be slightly biased towards this park, as it is the neighborhood park where I spent countless hours with my grandparents. They purchased a Bonnadelle Track Home in 1958. My mother was born into that house on 4729 E. Rialto. Therefore I have many great memories from this neighborhood and park as well. Although it will never be the same place as when I grew up coming here, I hope others can ultimately obtain similar life shaping memories here.

Such a perfect place for a picnic or BBQ. They have bbq pits here. Picnic tables everywhere. Restrooms and 2 playgrounds. Love the duck pond as well. It's nice to unplug from life and enjoy the trees oh and squirrels. Love it here!

Kids had fun. My family was enjoying themselves until an employee made fun of my autistic son and kind of killed our mood. Security found the manager and informed him of this. He did apologize on behalf of the employee! We left after the conversation.

visited this place first time. This place is clean and looking new.
Restroom and changing room also clean .
Wave pool is clean and well maintained.good water force.

Kids slide and play area is cool with good choice of slides. Adults can join children on the slides. There are other water features to play around with too. I’m giving 4 stars because the little kids water slide area was more for 5 years and up. The water pressure was too hard and somewhat frightening for a little one.
I love this place, but according to me, it’s expensive.

Haven't been in years but we had a wonderful time. So much fun. Be sure to ask when you enter the park what time they close. The website showed 6pm but they stayed open until 8. No alcohol is allowed so don't t try to sneak it in they'll catch you.

Great staff and magical experience! We had such a great time at StoryLand this past weekend! Robin P was so helpful during our visit. She answered all of my questions, gave directions and was so nice! Great employees and such a fun park. Us adults had just as much fun as the kids! Thank you Robin and StoryLand for making our dreams come true! Absolute magical experience 💫❤️

I & my adult grandson had a blast.!! We went during the week, and it was not packed, which was great. The strawberry funnel cake was off the hook & yummy! The wave pool was where we spent most of our time... I didn't rent a cabana cause it was just us 2. However, upon entering the park, I was informed of tables with shade that we could utilize for no charge. It all worked out perfectly! Thank you, Island Waterpark, for the fun we were able to have😊

SO DANG CHARMING. I just loved it. I love how they persevere the charm of the past and are also working to update and make it more interactive. We loved the fairy gardens. The magic key was a very unique touch that we haven’t seen at other places. There were characters walking around the park which was so special. My 7 year old only spent an hour here but I think it was because she was anxious to get over to the rides at Playland haha. Definitely do both parks in the same day.

My sister had my nephew's 3rd bday party there on July 9. We all had a horrible experience with the staff. When we got there the tables or chairs were not set up. The lady that was "coordinating" the party had a horrible attitude. All she said about that was that she was having a bad day. We asked to talk to a manager. An older lady came and my sister tried to explain to her the situation she said she didn't want to hear it. I asked for a key to hear the stories she said your sister should have picked it up when she got there. I said how was she supposed to know? She replied, "I don't want to go there with you". She just wanted us out! We are a Hispanic family and I felt she was being very prejudiced against us. I have never felt that way before. It's supposed to be a fun safe place for families. We paid to have a private event for 3 hours and they were already being rude since the first minute. I don't think they want people to go there.

Nothing better then taking kids to play and you find a large group of homeless hanging out there which they shouldn't and them bathing in the what's ment to be a kids place to play and cool down they just need to close the park cause the homeless problem is terrible. Do not even bother taking your kids there it's a shower for the homeless at this park.

This place is great for kids around ages 3 to 9. Older kids aren't too impressed as it's small houses and stories being read aloud. On some days characters will walk around and kids can take pics with them. Little red riding hood and Jack and Jill came out while we were there.
The price range is fair, $4 for kids up to age 10 and $6 for 11 and older. I do think all kids should be $4, honestly the older kids don't care for it but cost more, same for adults. Either way the price isn't bad. A season pass is $50, that gets 2 kids in and 2 adults, unlimited for a year.
They could use some remodeling, but overall it's cute and small kids love it. Watch out on those slides though they are old school metal slides and they go fast. I love the shaded areas and the patches of flowers, we saw a lot of butterflies, hummingbirds and dragon flies when we were there.

It’s so hot now!! So get out to Island Waterpark for a day in the sun with the whole family. If you’re local, it’s best to get the season pass because you definitely get your moneys worth just by going 2-3 times during the summer. Otherwise it’s 39.99 regular admission. Senior discount is available and children under 2 are granted free admission. Season pass allows 1 buddy pass per card so bring a friend (except holidays, i.e. 4th of July). You may bring your own food/snacks/coolers/beverages (no alcohol) but there is a bar there for some adult fun. My $14 Big Wave Kona beer (24oz) needed to be colder though because it got warm really soon. Step up the bar service Island Waterpark! Restrooms/showers, locker rentals, floaties rentals. convenience store for that item you forgot are all located inside. Have fun and don’t forget the sunscreen!

Pretty small but convenient park. Good place to let kids run and explore. Except for bird droppings everywhere. Parking is tight, overflow on the street but there are plenty of handicapped parking.

Do not take bikes, skates, anything with wheels. That are prohibited. Lots of other restrictions but need to visit the park to enjoy this little peaceful park.

The Island has changed:( More expensive with less amenities. A serious divide has taken place among the have and the have-nots😳 Extremely expensive for minimum experience!
The slides are good and the life guards are serious but I was very disappointed that lounge chairs were not available to our family as before😟With a full day of fun in the hot sun, my only option was to rent a cabana for another $80-$150!!! WHAT!!😡 Otherwise only plastic bench or hot cement.
My family set up at the lazy river where there are trees. The nearby cabanas were empty all day. Apparently no one rents them. Yet the lounge chairs had to remain empty. I understand the principle that if someone rents a cabana they should have enough lounges for their family. Yet The Island should take a look at their demographic and find another way to be profitable. So much money and no comfortable seat? Unacceptable!! I won’t go back. I don’t have the budget for a park that seems to only want to profit from the families who keep it in business. I have been going since 2000. After Covid we stopped. First time back and so very disappointed🫢Won’t be surprised if they go out of business!!! No Respect!

-$50 (including tax) per person
-$5 day parking
-$10/$12 Tube rental

We are a family of 5 = $357

*Brought our own food and drinks! Phew!

nice property it has wonderful potential. The trees, the grass, the wide sidewalk to get from one end to the other and the shade is unbelievable. I like it because it's not noticeable to where everybody That walks are drives by can actually see you like. Good unless they actually stop and got out and went down into the park with you. But this park needs a upgrade it needs the bathrooms to be open. new playground definitely the basketball courts are in decent condition Really. Decent and they got the bench there by the basketball court and they got 2 baseball parks. I've been living out here for 10 years. I didn't know it existed until about 5 years ago and still didn't go. Well my grandson is 2 years old he loves the park to death and this little park they had was well outdated and needs to be upgraded and the bathrooms were not open other Than that. I'd give it 4 stars. Mind you that's if they were to open up the bathrooms and Upgrade the. play ground but as it is now I wouldn't give it a 2.

Another great place to visit if you’re just here in town visiting. The kid and I were in Fresno for a day before flying out. Visited here to kill time. The park is in a nice neighborhood, it’s clean and quiet. It has a basketball court, enclosed pond, toddler and big kid playground, grassy area to run around and plentiful of parking. The patrons that visit/frequent here are friendly as well. The playground got busy around noon, family were having picnics and such, probably because it was their spring break.
Great party park, especially during the summer, they have cool water fun things, and it's ..FRREEEEEE

Took my daughter here and we had such a great time. She had fun running around playing and hearing the stories that she’s learned over the time. We only spent about an hour or an hour and a half there but we did enjoy it and played for a bit.
This park is one of mine and my children's favorite but I have one complaint I'm here with my toddler and the kids tables and play area is very dirty!!! If only people would take care of this park it's a very nice park and it's a shame people don't clean up after themselves!!

This park is very meaningful to our family 👪. When my wife and I had our firstborn, we would take him on strolls in the playgrounds. My brother would take his girls every now and them. In the last days of my father's life, he found the park a peaceful place to walk and feed the ducks. We have reached out to parks and recreation to see if we could donate funds to sponsor a bench in our father's honor, but due to covid, they weren't allowing any donations. Soon, we hope to honor our father here at this park. He was our Oso de Oro.

No shade so I would go there on the dry time of fall/winter/spring (spring is kind of pushing it though). Went during January and even with clouds, I was sweating a lot. Great place to run or bike around. It does have a post that says it is private property though... but just go beyond that and you can find plenty of worn out trails that takes you around the water banks.

This is a small, bluff- side park overlooking the river and Pacific Flyway. Despite being not well cared for, with ragged grass and many ground squirrels, it has a gorgeous view and is an excellent place for bird watching. It is a quiet place that allows spotting of multiple species, including many migrating waterfowl and shorebirds as well as acorn woodpeckers and many raptors.

I used to go here all the time when I was little. There used to be a building to hangout and play pool or ping pong. It was always fun coming here, with all the activities, everyone was so nice, we would also play dodgeball and went to island water park. I only remember 2 of the staffs there name Joe and Paul, they kept the place going. There used to be so many events and they also did free new movies for the kids and arts and craft. There used to be a science building too. Childhood memories...Now looking at the place at age 26, It’s actually sad how the place is extremely not the same anymore. Looks like a bad area, and not like before where it was filled with kids and adults like a after school program.

Beautiful and clean park. They have a small parking but there is street parking right along the park. They have two playground areas for small and bigger kids. They have a shaded swing are with swings for babies, bigger kids and the once that look a chair! They also have an area with a maze and spots to explore. you will find ducks running around. The lake looks beautiful and it’s picture perfect. Lots of kids running around and people walking along the paths. Oh there is a basket ball court as well.
All play equipment is in good condition. Just the normal wear and tear of course. Cute replica house, tower, and trolley. Two playgrounds. Nice gazebo's with picnic tables, great for parties or bbqs. They have grills by the gazebos. No regular swings only one handicap and three baby swings.

A hidden gem looking out from the Palm Bluffs. Small in size but giant in viewing the San Joaquin River. You can see Valley Children's Hospital on the other bank. I enjoyed watching all kinds of birds flying near the river. Excited to plan a trip to walk down along the river and see more of the San Joaquin River Parkway.

Dont listen to these fake tour guides with high star reviews for this place. I like this park alot because I play volleyball there alot. But DO NOT USE the splash park zone. The homeless basically use it as a bath. And there is always the smell of weed and drugs in the air. Definitely not the best place for kids. Pick another park. And that's just me trying to be nice about this park.
Disgusting!! went to take my son to the splash park and some lady thought it was a place to shower literally washing her hair and face in the water with kids playing. Than as i was leaving she was washing the rest of herself in the parking lot. Not to mention the tons of homeless sketchy people. How are families supposed to enjoy this park with that kind of activity?

We love inspiration park. The equipment is new Nad operational, they have basketball courts and a cool field to fly kites. There is also a satellite boys and girls club on grounds which is a great place for kids to meet in a safe environment.

I love coming here and bringing my friends. I enjoy showing off the amazing view! Not many people know this park so it's lonely most the time with exception of lunch hour when most people from nearby offices come. There is an opening with a trail going down to where you can take a walk or even do some fishing.

Too much Homeless people around. Actually, the park belongs to the homeless. I was only there because I had a BASKETBALL game, in which I'm the coach... I hate taking my students there. The city really needs to regulate and clean it up. I had 3 people ask me for change in 45min i was there.

Spent slot of time at the splash park last summer. Yes this is not the nicest area of Fresno but everyone we met were friendly and respectful. The was a great place to take my 2 children ages 12 and 6 to stay cool and the splash park area was clean... Best part it's free.. We took a lunch and would stay a few hours.

Fun place to get together any day of the week. Can draw a shady crowd, but definitely a fun place to visit with friends. Basketball courts baseball field and tennis/volleyball courts are available to play on. There are bbqs and restrooms available too.
