Enter at your own risk. Creepy. Heard from others what a spiritual place it is so we visited. Walking up the road to the house I felt I was walking through spider webs. The closer we got to the building the more intense it felt, unpleasantly so. We walked in, excited to see and meet a spiritual community especially one where art is celebrated, here at home.
It was difficult to get anyone to talk. Originally from NYC I realize some from NYC can be a bit cold at first, so I didn't pay much mind to it. But as we walked, looked at the art no one would take to us. In a strange wave we could feel an energy shift. It felt deep and dark. Not strong but dark. Stark contrast to the white walls. I tell you, there were smiles on faces but without any light behind the eyes. We kept triying to talk with people walking about but we were met with blank stares. We left as soon as we felt that shift.
Not a place that resonates with any positive energy. Cultish vibe. Or worse. Not a vibration of light or love in my experience. I'd say, do some spiritual protection activation before going.
The grounds at nearby Mount Alvernia are beautiful to sit and commune with angels. The Buddhist monastery over on Sheafe Road is a decidedly higher spiritual vibration than Cosm. The Buddhist temple is beautiful and you can sit by the river feeling the prayers being released.

The coolest art museum I have ever been to, including the Guggenheim. Very spiritual.

Absolutely breathtaking sacred art space. A must visit if you are a fan of visionary art. The grounds are beautiful to walk. Mushroom cafe has snacks and sandwiches and teas and coffee and light foods. The grey house is gorgeous, and the yard is perfect for the full moon ceremonies. Entheon is beautiful, powerful, and has an energy that can not be explained and needs to be experienced. A must visit!

What an experience. So many pieces of his work that leave you speechless. Staff was great. Would love to go back.

Museum of esoteric delight and spiritualism. Nestled in the middle of nowhere, drive to the Entheon, the main museum. The Grey House is a B&B and wasn't open to the public. The Mushroom Cafe wasn't open when we arrived. The museum has three floors with the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors on the third floor. Each floor is a surprise and you can easily spend an hour here viewing the art, sculpture, and video. There is nothing like this that I'm aware of in northeast US. It's worth a stop if you're in the Hudson Valley.

I feel so blessed to have been able to experience the beauty and magic of this place firsthand – it is truly unique and inspiring and wonderful in so many ways… Kudos to everyone for making it real!!!

Cool art, but boy oh boy is Alex and Allyson weird. Chilling energy, not in a good sense. These two are definately "unique" , but in my reality I would call them weirdos.
The artwork is...interesting. but I wouldn't go back. The "core" members give me the creeps. If this is was I "need" (literally, plus lots of $) for spirituality then No thanks. Even some of the people there touring were arrogant and in my mind, out of place at a supposed "church" (ha)! Not sure why we give these groups of people the light of day to be honest.
I think using quotations around every word pretty much sums up the idea of this shortcut on spirituality

Update: This place is no longer worth your money or time, it has been a while since I updated my review. Technically COSM is a "church" therefore they receive the same benefits (tax cuts) that many churches do.
The problem with this "church" is the fact that they have been raising their prices for their rooms that weren't cheap already; even worse they charge you to enter and be part of their community, unlike most churches. I don't want to be part of something that is shaping to be like Scientology since their way of reaching "higher power" involves opening your wallet.
My wife and I had an LSD trip while at this location and let me tell you... we felt nothing but dark, negative vibes.. an experience we have never had..at first, we disregarded it, but it is obvious there is something off about this place.. but cannot put my finger on it.
First time review:
My wife and I chose this place to be our honeymoon getaway (1/17/16) and it proved itself as an amazing destination. It was full of wonderful arts throughout the location inside and outside. We explored the wisdom trail on a cold morning of January 18, 2016. We met "VineMan" a gigantic beast made of vines branch that was incredible to see and it wasn't even Alex's artwork. Mr.Grey and Mrs.Grey were humble visionaries who wanted to help change the world through the universal connection of arts. Seeing it once will change your perspective of arts and mysticism.
