Divine Temple of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Very serene and positive vibration the minute you enter the temple premises. Though there was rush when we visited, the authorities swiftly managed the crowd. Don't forget to visit Bhagvathi Temple as well, which is located behind this temple. Car parking is available slightly ahead of the temple.. Must visit Temple if you are visiting Guruvayur Temple
The temple is primary for lord Shiva, as the rituals the devotees visiting guruvayoorappan is suppose to go to mammiyur temple as well. This is one of 108 Shiva temples in India. Very well maintained neat and clean, temple has its own history. Lord Ganapathy, Lord Ayyappan, Lord Subramanya Swami, Bhagavathi Amman and Sarpa Swami is there. The temple pond was good eye cooler. Over all one of the good hindu pilgrimage. Only Hindus are allowed. Dress code for ladies are saree and salwar none other than this, gents with Dhoti and towel, but not allowed with shirts. We have an option for offer Thulabaram. Paid Prasadam counter were available.

Beautiful, Powerful & Divineful Mahadev Temple , located in heart of Thrissur near Guruvayur Temple..
Maintained Neat & Clean .
Famous temple among in Guruvayur & Thrissur places.
People visiting Guruvayur also visit Mammiyur Temple .
One should not miss this temple to get the Blessings of God.
Such a peaceful place. You can find Shivjis full family here🙏❤️‍🔥. Loved this temple
The priest who was on duty that day 27 Aug 2023 evening behaved like we were 'the untouchables', instructed us to place the pooja ticket on the stairs, refused to take it by hand... What a drama... Maybe if I tipped him some $$$, would've fell on our feet instead 🤣🤣🤣
No tickets no line. Simple and small temple but very peaceful. 🙏🙏
Its a good and big temple. Usually not so crowded so you can darshna easily.
Follow the mandir timings so you don't need to wait more.
Recently visited all was divine auspicious . I witnessed an early morning darshan at time of opening of temple . Most temple don’t put artificial lights inside the sanctum snctorum, that makes real darshan difficult . I believe some people are old , limited vision and some with other body ailments . Provide some thing for such devotees with some flexibility in rules . 🙏
Nice temple with lot of car parking space. Apart from the main deity, Navagraha & lord Iyappan can also be worshipped
The Main Diety Is Lord Shiva In The Form Of Uma Maheswara. Lord Vishnu Is Also Given Equal Importance In A Sanctum Sanctorum Near To That Of Lord Shiva.
Temple premises is nice. Anyone if traveling to guruvayoor, definitely need to visit Sree Chamundeshwari Temple
Beautiful deity decorated with lot of devotion. Very peaceful place
Shiva is the main Deity here in the form of a two feet tall linga. When he is decorated with gold cladding, tiers of bright cresents, He presents a beautiful serene look.

Next to Him, we have an equally beautiful MahaVishnu shrine. The butter cladding done on him presents an awesome look of the Lord. Reminding us of Guruvayoorappan himself.

When we go around the outer parikrama, there is a Bhagavatha temple on the northwest corner. She looks so beautiful in her gold cladding that one stays rooted looking at her awesome face.

Legend has that Sri Mahadeva offered the place where presently Sri Guruvayoorappan is installed and moved over here when Vayu and Guru bhagawan brought Sri Krishna's idol from Dwaraka.

A must visit temple.

"My recent visit to Sree Chamundeswari Temple in Guruvayoor was an amazing spiritual experience. The temple's beautiful architecture and serene atmosphere immediately transported me to a place of reverence and awe.

The temple's main deity, Goddess Chamundeswari, was beautifully adorned and presented, and the temple priests were welcoming and knowledgeable. They guided me through the rituals and traditions of the temple, which enhanced my overall spiritual experience.

The temple's location is quite serene, and it is surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for anyone looking for a spiritual retreat.

The cleanliness and organization of the temple were highly impressive, and the staff's dedication to maintaining the temple premises' hygiene is highly commendable.

Overall, I highly recommend Sree Chamundeswari Temple to anyone seeking a spiritual and cultural experience in Guruvayoor. The temple's peaceful and serene atmosphere, combined with its stunning natural surroundings and beautiful architecture, make it a truly unique and fulfilling destination. I am grateful for the opportunity to visit this wonderful temple and will surely visit again."
Parthasarathy temple is located just outside guruvayur station. Parthasarathy krishnar sannathy is built very much like a chariot. With wheels and 4 horses the temple is very unique in its architecture.

The ratha of this temple also resembles a chariot and has arjuna sitting behind krishna

No one other than Lord Krishna who is Sarathy to Arjuna is the presiding deity of this temple. Typical of temples of Kerela , it is well maintained and managed. Worship of cow is the special feature of the temple. Any one going to Guruvayoor must visit the temple.
