MYH KID WAS ON THE SWINGS AND SAID THEY WERE THE BEST
Wonderful large well-maintained trail around the lake. Lots of strategically placed garbage cans for waste. Trail is approximately 1.2 miles. Also path to Korean War memorial, and a couple fishing docks. My dogs love all the smells.
Love walking my small dog here. Short wooded scenic trails and a pretty little river. Plover is the best place for walking and walking dogs!

Great accessible playground with a splash pad that runs Memorial Day - Labor Day (as of 2023). Man made lake for swimming, large and small picnic shelters, and athletic fields. Running trail is about 1.2 miles.
Great little park. The splash pad & playground are excellent. Lots of big fish in the lake & there's a great sandy beach area. Unfortunately there are a ton of geese & a TON of goose poop.. They do have an outdoor shower which is nice, but your feet will be caked with goose poop no matter how hard you try to avoid it. We will definitely keep going there, but just a heads up.

Had a nice picnic. Very open. Kids played in Splash Pad, and we sat on the beach. Very nice park.
I look forward to returning and injoy the peaceful park!

Wonderful place! Took my children here last week. Wish I would have known about it sooner. Wonderful splash pad with lots of interactive water sprinkling toys. Really interactive playground area and swing/teeter totter/merry go round area. The whole splash pad and playground areas were super clean and nice looking. Bathrooms are nice and clean and well maintained. My only complaint is ALL the poop by the lake, which is obviously not the fault of the people who oversee the park. Not sure if it's geese doing it, or people's dogs. But if you do take your pet here, PLEASE pick up after your animal has gone. So much lining the sand right next to the lake my children couldn't leave the water without immediately stepping in some. So I advise staying away from the beach/lake area. But the rest of the park is pretty big, very clean and has a lot to offer. It's separated from the lake area so that was nice.

First time visit. I was blown away with the Celebrate Plover Days and everything it offers! So Cool to watch the Firemen they really put on a Great show and had Fun, too!! All the Food Trucks gave you so many options! VFW had beer and food, too. Rows of Vendors selling their items was neat to checkout. I was Amazed with the Super big Splash Pad looks so Fun!! Definitely returning with the Grandkids and when Family and Friends visit.👍😊

Awesome splash pad. Nice little lake to kayak on. Or fish. There are a few docks and a swimming area. Village recently put up a new band shelter and also a pavilion to use.. with a nice walking trail...
Nice neighborhood park just off Hoover. Ballpark & swings etc.

Parking and garbage cans are very limited for such a big area. Every enterance is a dead end. The updates are beautiful though and a lot of people were there but it was nice, relaxing and quiet. My 2 young sons took me fishing and we grilled out. I'm glad we brought the wagon.

Awesome place for a children’s birthday party! ♥️ We had to come about an hour early to reserve tables. They have two open shelters, a shelter with electric for rent & ample picnic tables. The park has a veteran’s memorial, playground, beach, splash pad, fishing pond, baseball field + bleachers, man-made lake + fountain, ampitheather & much more! 🤗💚

Great service, over priced, but we knew that coming in, but they always answer my questions or find the answer. Also I came in to get a VR set and it wasn't in stock so they ordered it for me and said it would be a week then had it for me in two days. Awesome!

Annoying to park on the street and the play structure could use an update.

Huge area. I conduct flag football practices here.
Good little neighborhood park with ball fields, walking trails along the river, a pavilion with bathrooms. They also have one of last remaining lighted public tennis courts in the county which are always packed with tennis players. Most have been renovated into pickleball. The only downside is the outdated and damaged playground equipment and the bathrooms don't open until 10 am. Makes it tough on toddlers when going to the park in the mornings.

It's a good park & we enjoyed the tball fields. Only issue is that the parking lot is a bit small when it came to the games overlapping.

Nice well kept park with the very clean bathroom
Very nice, clean, well maintained park with walking trails, playground, little league baseball diamonds and tennis courts. Picnic tables, restrooms available. Nice wooded walk along the Little Plover River.

Don't hate the place I was just never been there
Eh. Okay for people with kids who want a playground. No river view for people looking for one at a park with the word "river" in it. It was quiet though...i went to be alone and read in the rain for a bit.

This place has beautiful scenery. The picnic and restroom facilities are in excellent condition. There is a nearby Korean War Memorial that is excellent. The lake is small and sping fed. This carries a higher risk of Swimmer's Itch if you don't shower after contact. However, it is very popular for swimming. There is a walking path around the perimeter of the area with a theme for the children's book "Where the Wid Things Are." Every hundred or so feet there is a sign with consequtive pages from the book displayed. You essentially read the story as you walk. The playground equipment is amazing. I have never seen so many pieces of disibility freindly equipment concentrated in one playground. Not only is there handicap equipment everywhere, but there are also structures designed for adult/child simultaneous use. The splash pad is excellent with at least ten different structures. The dock and kayak/canoe launch is handicap accessible with some unique equipment that I have never seen deployed at a public park. Lots of fun for families and anyone (big emphasis on anyone) can enjoy themselves at this park.

Nice open space. Two ball fields.
It has 2 tennis courts that are also lined for pickleball. It would be nice if they would convert one tennis court to 4 pickleball courts. There is rarely anyone playing tennis and every weekday in the summer we have so many players for pickleball that 4 - 6 are always waiting.

A quiet park that is located very close to where I live. It's a good place to play with and walk my dog too.
Its very safe here, but the constant police after dark makes it seem like you shouldnt be here at night. Limited light.

Perfect for daytime, dont get me wrong

My son plays baseball on this field frequently. It’s a great little park here in the community! There is also a nice playground for kiddos too!

We had a party at this park and it was nice, however, there isn't any power provided and reservations aren't available. We showed up the morning of the party to hold the shelter for the event. We also had to provide a generator to keep our food hot, but since it was free, it was nice. The park itself isn't very big, but there are 2 baseball diamonds (small ones) and there is also some playground equipment. There are also restrooms that have toilets and sinks, so there's coverage there as well.
