Beautiful in the fall! Lots of natural trails where you can take in the fall colours and enjoy views of the park’s many lakes
We visited this park to see fall colors. It’s very peaceful and quiet . There are good colors in the park. A nice place for photo shoots. There is kids play area, washrooms, a lil beach for kids to play. It is worth visiting . Fall colors were beautiful today

This is a beautiful park with a lot of good trails to walk. My only complaint was that the bathrooms were locked during the week, but I totally understand since it's the off-season.
I like to come here to ride my bike. I have a road bike so I do not use the mountain biking trails. I just ride on the side of the paved road.

This is a very attractive park. The beaches in particular are very clean and inviting. There are lots of hiking and mountain biking trails, playgrounds, shelters, picnic areas, fishing areas, and a couple of boat launch areas.

I think this would be a great place to come with the family for a beach day.

The park is big and beautiful with lots of areas to keep your events, such as family barbecues, picnics, birthday parties & so on. There is a big beach here as well. There are restrooms, lots of parking, trails to walk or hike.
It's also a state park, so you have to have the state park pass on your vehicle already or pay $18 at the gate for a state park pass for the year before entering (they don't sell the day pass here for this park).
Beautiful park - never crowded. On average I see 1-3 others in the trails.
The state park campground is located near a very pretty little lake ( five stars) however the roadways of the campground are extremely crowded and the sites very close to each other. The roadways can get to the point of not being able to drive to your site with a trailer in tow. No privacy at all. Having some more mature staff may help enforce the rules. The staff were pleasant but very young .
Even though it appeared to be alot of people when we pulled up...there actually wasn't. Seven lakes has alot of trees ,so there is plenty of shade. We moved a picnic table under the tree of our choice. Pet friendly, too. Says no dogs on the beach, but I took my Rat terriers and let her swim on the edge of the beach area, and nobody said anything! A lot of people brought their dogs. Quiet and screne. Friendly people. They have many grills. A lot of people kayak here. Great family fun.
Peaceful and secluded. Not very popular this time of year.

It's a nice park, maybe not for a picnic day, but yes to take pictures at sunset, watch the small lakes, for a walk in the trail, very natural, very well kept, small parking lot.
It's a very beautiful place, nice trails, good for walking and seeing nature. There's equestrian acces and they have buckets and rackets along the way for cleaning after the horses, only down side is that it seams like not everyone cleans after their horses or pets, is not really bad but one has to really look where one's going
Beautiful park! Highly recommend! Definitely take a picture of the map as there's a few intersections where the map is missing. A little hilly to add some cardio to your hike! Wonderful!

This is a nice place for taking a stroll and hiking. Went during fall time and could see great colors here.
Beautiful park. Make sure you're going pretty slow when you are close on Buckthorn or you might miss the entrance. Well maintained paths for an easy hike. I recommend good walking shoes, you don't really need hiking boots. Saw plenty of wildlife too: deer, squirrel, birds
A really cool Oakland County Park. Serene, quiet and lots of wildlife, away from highways, you can hear so much. Multi-use bridle and hiking trails, wide trails, short and long loops, can easily make it 8 miles or more. Trails loop around many water features, rolling hills.
