Wonderful scenery and makes you excited when the water comes up high
Very fun place. There are just infinite things to do. You can walk on the towering rocks near the cliff and be amazed at the amazing scenery, you can go to the blowholes and watch the absolutely breathtaking water go up in a massive gust, or you can go on a walk on the rocks and go to the lighthouse, and get an astonishing view and some cool photos! I've attached some photos and videos below.

As a bonus, you get a photo of my cat 😺

As the name suggests its only a little blowhole but stunning landscape surrounding it so well worth the quick stop over. There is a dedicated (small) carpark which wasn't full when we visited.

The place is stunning, great for picnics and other outdoor activities. The place has designated parking space for caravans, locals shops and restaurants you can try near the train station. Great for families since there are playgrounds where the kids can play, accessible and clean toilets to use.

Great spot for everyone to enjoy, kids had fun even though the weather wasn't great
The Kiama Lighthouse, perched majestically atop Blowhole Point, is a coastal gem on New South Wales’ South Coast. Its iconic white tower and striking backdrop of rugged cliffs and azure waters make it a must-visit attraction. While it no longer serves as an active navigational aid, the lighthouse serves as a historical landmark and an excellent vantage point for whale watching during migration seasons. The surrounding Kiama Coastal Walk offers breathtaking vistas of the Pacific Ocean and access to the famous Kiama Blowhole. A visit to the Kiama Lighthouse promises not only panoramic views but also a deep connection to the region’s maritime heritage.

Great attraction. Incredible viewing points. Managed to get the only picnic table. Incredible place to have our lunch and do a bit of whale spotting. Lucky enough to see two in the distance. Fabulous place to enjoy peace and quiet as well as the views.

A must see. Kiama is well worth the trip from Sydney. Very windy at the headland but the walkway to the blowhole and around the lighthouse is very well maintained. The deep boom sound of the spray from the blowhole was unexpected and loud. I arrived on a Friday and found parking easily and was free. There is a toilet next to the information centre.

Maybe not as well known as the other Kiama blowhole but if you wait long enough it has a very impressive spray. Situated in a pretty memorial park to Captain Cook on his 200th anniversary of discovery along the east coast of Australia.

Not hard to find via GPS and good parking provided.

We didn't originally intend to stop here. It was on our travel planner as a "if you have time, try and see this sight". However, I am so glad we went 8 minutes out of way from the highway, and would highly recommend stopping here. The views were incredible and, unlike many lookouts, there were several points and heaps of space from which to enjoy the view. Even though it was super busy when we went there, at no point did it feel crowded. The blowhole itself was also fantastically entertaining, and honestly really consistent! If you're really wanting to get that picture-perfect photo or slowmo video, you really only have to wait every 7-10 swells for a big one to come along.
While we didn't partake in these, there were heaps of walking tracks and picnic spots if you have time for a longer stop. And the main street we drove down to get to the lookout was bustling with parks and cafes and shops.
There was also a cafe at the top of the hill right near the lighthouse, and the public toilets there were some of the most clean and well-kept I've ever seen. Perfect if you need a moment on a long journey.
Highly recommended, and would absolutely tell friends and go back myself.

Beautiful picnic area with spectacular sea views. Only 2 hours drive from western Sydney suburbs, it's a must go place if you are visiting Sydney.
The Blow Hole is an amazing scene to witness; the way those waves splash so high through the hole is purely amazing.

The Kiama lighthouse mountain area is a perfect winter getaway. The sunny days and clear skies make for stunning views of the mountains and the ocean. There are not much activities to enjoy, A small town atmosphere is charming and inviting.

Pros:
Amazing views
Perfect sunny winter weather
Plenty of activities to enjoy
Charming small town atmosphere

Cons:
Can be crowded during peak season
Some activities, such as hiking, can be challenging

Overall:
This is a great place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. If you're looking for a winter getaway with stunning views and plenty of activities to enjoy, this is the place for you.

A hidden gem and less touristy. Has a parking area. A must visit and always a great alternative to the main blowhole as it’s little less busy. Highly recommended for a visit.

Once you get off the grass it’s just a rocky headland and the sea. What’s not to love. For some reason there is air bubbling out of the rock pool, I would like to know why.

This is a "dog off leash" park. It's great for letting the dog have a run while taking in the 270° ocean views.

Check out the famous Kiama blow hole and enjoy fish and chips right on the water. Make the most of your visit by going on a market day for fresh local produce.

Picturesque spot to spend a day. About 2.5 hours from Sydney can drive down or reach by train. Main attraction is the Kiama blow hole and little blow hole. The surf beach next to light house and walk from light house to little blow hole are must do.
Well, I like the beach, the market and all the way it's peaceful environment.

Kiama is a beautiful place for a holiday or short visit. Enough coffee shops in the area to try a different one every day for a fortnight or so and a lovely relaxed vibe through the whole town. Lovely walks and views all around the town and plenty of accommodation options as well.

A nice fish and chip shop by the harbour. But if you're really lucky, like I was, you might see some of the gigantic resident stingrays come up by the boat entrance in the afternoons.
