Nice for a short stop.
We drove to the Serpentine Dam as we were turned away from the nearby falls which was at capacity. You are able to drive along the top side of the dam and there is a large car park with bbq tables, bbq facility, and a small grassed area. You can’t walk to the dam, however you can hear the water flowing rapidly which is lovely. The trees are also beautiful.

BBQ’s available. Toilets only near kids play ground. Lots of Birds coming close. Lorikeets, Kookaburras, hand fed. Great view of Dam. Drive was really nice. A day trip worth doing.
Beautiful place for a picnic and see the birds. Cafe on the dam serving decent food and drinks. I only had coffee but that was great.
Serpentine Dam is a Nature sanctuary. Serene waters, lush surroundings and abundant wildlife. We can drive on the dam and unfortunately there is no place to park on the dam. You can park the cars bit away from the dam and walk to the dam easily. There are beautiful views and scenery. I believe the dam is maintained by water corporation and surrounding area is belong to the catchment area for the river. A good place to have a break and relax with family and friends. There are two car parks available near the dam with a picnic area as well.
Went for a ride down here and it is a fantastic place to stop off and take a look if you haven’t been before. Unfortunately it is a narrow road and no parking spaces so would be hard to find a stop if travelling by car. Well worth a visit though with this beautiful view
Great spot to stop on a ride and take in the surroundings A short walk down to the toilet or parking next to the top of dam wall The pic is taken in the car park south west end of the wall with the cafe on the opposite end and an easy walk from one to the other The cafe is very much worth a stop a gem amongst the trees with elevated views in a tranquil setting broken only by the friendly wildlife
Was beautiful as always, but weird to have a bit of aggression and $15 dollars to pay on the way in... Although the new facilities and restoration are nice and clearly why the price has increased.

Today the dam was absolutely beautiful. We took the road through the dam on our way out. Definitely recommend.
Friendly parrots, bbq facilities also has a cafe on site. Great for a walk with a nice view.
Well worth the visit. Only did the low side of dam. More to see & walk on the high side next time
Beautiful, quiet, scenic area to be. Enjoying the view so very much. Serenity to the most. Lots of parking place, so no need to worry I reckon. Up close with the Australian native parrots, really a great experience for me! Brought our drone there to capture some great shots but unfortunately was low batt, really upset for didnt realize about it beforehand. When we have extra time available, would want to come back for sure.
We visited this place on a weekday and it wasn't busy. There are separate car parks for the playground and cafe. There are nice views of the dam here.
Driving down towards the small cabin, stip at the sign and you're greeted by friendly helpful staff, pay a small fee to drive through to the national park. An excellent example of what the West Australian bush has to offer. It was the spring when I visited, the Noongar season of Djilba (season of conception) and the flowers were painting a beautiful scene, the bush was alive with colour and life. Step carefully and keep your eyes open to observe the majesty of this unique land.

Quiet and peaceful Sunday drive and walk or hike. Plenty of parking with a picnic area or Cafe if you choose. Easy drive to get to, through beautiful Jarrahdale.
Gorgeous scenery 😍 I could spend hours there looking at the beautiful colours of the water to the red sand and the trees! Very peaceful here

A beautiful area to relax and enjoy nature, there are lovely areas to have a picnic or barbecue with friends and family. A coffee shop is also located near the falls where you can sit, enjoy a drink and watch the birds fly by. I will visit again as there are also some walking trails to explore.
Kitty's Gorge located right there at Serpentine National Park. Very beautiful trail, easy to complete in 5 hours about 16 km round trip that's just about 9-10 miles. It's an adventurous trail, I would go back any day for another walk. The trail is clearly marked, and full of lush vegetation.
Located to the east of Serpentine just off the South Western Highway Serpentine National Park is easily accessed. There are a range of facilities, BBQs, picnic tables and a heap of car parks. An entry fee is charged or access is free using a National Park's pass. Kangaroos are often sighted on the lawn areas and throughout the park. Being a National Park no dogs or pets are allowed.
The actual falls and pool are easily accessed by foot from the car park on a well maintained footpath. During the warmer months the pool at the base of the falls is a popular swimming spot. The best time to see the falls flowing is during the winter months and early spring. After prolonged rainfall or heavy falls the falls are impressive and attract an influx of visitors. The surrounding cliffs / wall of the falls are impressive and their colour is impressive. Over the years there have been numerous deaths and injuries caused by over adventurous park visitors ignoring warning signs and jumping from rock ledges above the falls into the pool below. This is also great spot for photographers and visitor with an abundance of wildflowers in the area.

Long walk in very stiff & dangerous walk trials, u should consider this before your visit. The lookout wasn't worth all the risk & effort to go up! The pool area is small but waterfall is beautiful. Parking is expensive if you visit by your own as of $13 for only 1 person, however they may need the fees to take care of the place as it is huge.
Nice little park with a little waterfall and swimming hole.Easy walk to waterfall. Many birds and wildflowers. Local kangaroos are friendly.
