Very nice walk across the lake. Look up and see the eagles nest.
Nice view of the lake nice walking trail great place to visit it's free
My family and I spent the weekend camping and over all it was a beautiful place.
The swimming beaches where clean and very child friendly, they had life jackets for those who needed one and every beach had a rescue response float and rod.
The parks/playgrounds could use some upgrades as well as a couple of the shower houses, but over all still a very nice place!
The team of staff do an AMAZING job keeping the park clean and well stocked.
Staff was extremely friendly and respectful. The park seemed well patrolled and safe however there where a couple of problems along the way. (Staff took immediate action to resolve these problems)
We had some extremely creepy guy approach our campsite asking if someone was there, when he was told no that no one there had that name we where a family group he proceeded to try and walk past us adults and towards the back part of our campsite where clearly only children where playing.
The couple that had camp next to us fought everyday and every morning we'd get woken up to Yelling, cussing, throwing things, slamming things, threatening each other and trying to hit each other.
There also was a problem with people speeding up and down the roads through the campsite.
Even with those issues we encountered our family had an amazing experience
And are extremely satisfied with the park and the staff.
We definitely would love to visit again!

I love looking over the wall up close to the bottom of the damn. You can see hundreds of fish. Pretty darn cool!
Absolutely breathtaking! Had a huge bird nest above it as well that was worth it, had its little head peaking over the top. Beautiful nice walk, view, even restaurant by it, very friendly and no crowd.
Beautiful landscapes around the Dam!

Just a nice day for a drive to the damn. Seen 3 baby deer resting under a tree in the shade. Seen a tree full of vultures. Picked up a little trash along the parking lots, be better visitors people, your dead batteries don't belong in a parking lot where they could very easily end up in a lake, especially when there was a trash can 10ft from where you left them
I like hiking on these trails, they offer a selection of different routes to take based off of distance. Trails are clearly visible to navigate. Bring bug repellent and check for ticks. I don't believe pesticides are used Trailside. But there's definitely nature there.

If I had to say a few things as constructive criticism, it would be nice if there was a modern restroom with running water.

Funding I bet.

Anyway, it's a nice outlet to go to and enjoy.

Awesome, newer little park nestled in a residential neighborhood. Kids had a blast. The parking isn't the greatest but it's only a problem if it's busy. It was empty when we went in the late afternoon. Very nice place!
Great area. There are lots of eagles along the lake.

Very cool spot. Hundreds of carp at the dam. Eagles fly through the area a lot.
Very cool spot to check out.

Newer playground located right off the main streets in town. Only downside would be that there is no bathroom and not really any shaded area when it’s super hot and sunny. Free street parking as well. My daughter enjoyed her visit here and it was worth the stop coming through town!
Great campsites, very quiet at night. You can hear the wildlife (lots of frogs/toads, raccoons, deer) at night. Nice and dark at night both for sleeping and for viewing the night sky.

The couple at the entrance (from 3-7pm) are amazing! Super friendly, very accommodating...simply put, they are wonderful people!

Some campsites were muddy (which happens after a big rain) but still in very good shape.

Some of the showers did not work, and the bathroom was loaded with spiders (including some brown recluse). But it's a state park, it's wild land and should be expected. So, just be aware of those as well as ticks and mosquitoes. Also don't be surprised if you wake up with a large nursery web spider (I believe) or two camping out on your tent. Again, wild land things to be expected.

The road has a nasty dip in it about a quarter mile in, so you'd be wise to obey the 10 MPH speed limit.

No hard complaints at all...great camping experience, will probably visit again when/if we're in the area again.
Stopped at "The Dam Bar" for dinner, then walked across the bridge. Saw many birds- vultures, blue herons, ducks, geese and a pair of Bald Eagles. They've built a nest on the bridge pier and we heard at least one eaglet. Beautiful day!

Other than having no bathroom, this park is so perfect for bringing the kiddos to play for a couple of hours. It never has many ppl, which is nice, & my son enjoyed his birthday there!!
The campground was really nice. There is plenty of room between campsites.
This is really a nice bridge to visit. The cable system holding it together is amazing!
If you aren't a people person but love nature I would suggest going during the off season. We just stayed a week here and it was gorgeous! The whole park is empty pretty much except for the ranger that drives through daily. The spots were all pretty nice, with plenty of room. Tables and fire pits. The only thing I can say is that if you go during the off season you will not have access to any toilets. So make sure you bring your own! Otherwise we had an amazing stay and it was nice seeing all the signs of spring 🌱🌼
Gorgeous place to take kids and have a hike. Very beautiful!

Wonderful place to bring kids for school field trips and take a tour. You must schedule it ahead.
Lots of cool things to see how the dam works.
If you love to fish for some big cats down below the dam.

It's a picturesque location that resembles a large lake with a nearby beach. The view from the dam is breathtaking, and the fishes on one side of the dam look fantastic.

Saw and found zero ticks. This was a concern after reading so many comments about them in the reviews here, and because we were taking our toddler on his first camping trip. Park staff were friendly, other guests were having fun but being respectful. Not half as busy as all the reserved sites online had me coming in expecting. Used to hunt ducks with my dad near this part of Truman. Now we'll be camping with my new family. Firewood is a standard $5 per bundle, about a standard amount and consistency of firewood. Check-in and fire wood sales 3pm-7pm.
Beautiful park! Well maintained, very friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous lake wooded campsites they have tent, RV and cabin campsites. They have outhouse restrooms as well as regular restrooms with showers available. It is dog friendly. Boat ramp available.

Beautiful scenery with nice fishing opportunities
We spent a week camping here and it was a great experience! Lots of wildlife and it is very well maintained. I wish they had lights at the boat ramps, but other than that it was a great campground.

My sons love this playground it's one of our favorites other than the slides that are textured weird. You can hardly go down them, lol. I love the swings for adults.

Kerr Park has long been my favorite place to play basketball, and for good reason. I can always invite my friends, the courts are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is always energetic. So when I do invite my friends—who I play basketball with, we can have fun. If you're looking for a place where you can exercise, relax, and have fun at the same time; Kerr Park is the spot for you. Located in the best part of the town, this park is always bustling with activity. You'll find people walking their dogs, playing frisbee, picnicking with friends and family, or simply enjoying the fresh air.

The park's varied amenities include a playground for kids to enjoy during hot summer days, as well as basketball courts that we can play on and a skate park for teenagers to get their adrenaline pumping. Plus, there are plenty of green trees to relax around that offer a perfect place to unwind after a long day at work or school. All in all, Kerr Park has everything you need for an enjoyable outdoor experience no matter your age or interest.

Whenever I want to improve my game, I head over to the park and join a pickup game or shoot around on my own. The hoops are regulation size with sturdy backboards which makes it feel like you're playing at an NBA stadium.

Plus, the park offers plenty of space for other activities like barbecuing or just relaxing under the trees. What I love most about Kerr Park is that it's a place where people from all over can come together and do what they would like. It's a space where everyone feels welcome to do whatever they would like. I would rate this very highly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I've raced these trails in the past and I've been a spectator for the last few. Great trails, well produced races. and the town has plenty of places to eat
My family loves mountain biking here.
New discovery for us. Walked for about 30 mins with our two dogs. We will be back again. Mountain bikes would be fun for those who enjoy a little rougher ride.
We stayed here one night in the middle of October. It was a beautiful quiet place. Great time of year to view the changing tree leaves.

Our campsite was clean. All the sites appear to be pretty well spaced out so you can have some privacy. What we can tell they all had a fire pit and they picnic table. There are three easy for hikes/ nature walks to enjoy as well.
The rocks could be cleaned up a bit and I would love to see the lake more. I'm sure when they started letting bikes on the walking trails it made many more loose rocks 😟
Great little, private-ish, chill spot.

Just wish they weren't storing extra city picnic tables there, so we could have sat down & enjoyed our lunch.
But I think that's a seasonal thing.

Beautiful neighborhood park with easy street side parking and nice sidewalks with beautiful landscaping. The large play structure has a ton of slides and lots of climbing in varying levels of challenge. The main structure is for kids 5-12 - there is a 2-5 structure in the back. There are picnic tables and plenty of bench swings for adults to watch their kids play. This pocket park is beyond what you would expect! There is a QR code to scan on the east side of the play area to give your opinion about the play area. Awesome Warsaw Park!

Clean tables and restroom. Shaded area to eat. Parking accesssible. Good place to chat or rest. Not a place for children to play.
First time I've been to the Lucerne Park. The band and the venue were excellent. Everybody had a good time and the mature trees and light breeze kept us all comfortable in spite of it being a hot day
The trail system is decent but the paths are not well maintained, if ever. There are large baseball and softball sized rocks all over the trails that will trip a hiker or catch a bike tire. I come here to go hiking and jogging and almost every time I end up rolling an ankle on the rocks. Some of the sections and side trails are just rock filled ruts with no dirt at all, like a dry creekbed. Other spots are very uneven and washed away with boulders jutting out of the ground. It's a shame because this place would be amazing if they would just do some regular maintenance. Also, as some other people have mentioned even though this location is so close to the lake most of the trails don't run close to it with few views of the water.
Stunning view and well cleaned park to enjoy.
Great little public park. Has a place for kids to play as a nice beautiful view of the lake. Did a great job on the disc golf course that is there. Nothing super long but still challenging and fun. They have an outside workout gym thing..I wish I could describe it better but it does like five different things to help you workout. All in all good place for people to go.

Riding a bike without a water bottle. When thirsty knowing where to go for quenching a thirst is essential. Here at Krebs Trailhead Park provides just the water fountain. Drinking water at a finger or a thumb's touch.
Beautiful little park. Pet friendly.

Such a relaxing a beautiful place to watch the water, picnic, fish, swim, boat and just watch the wildlife! I'm there weekly and sometimes bring my 15 yr old daughter to just hang out and take a walk by the water down by the spillway....🤗
Amazing views, shaded. Definitely do not go without tick spray!
Nice park clean great to relax
Amazing park surrounded by a wide range of local culture and dining. Only gripe I had was that someone had set up a barbeque right in front of the men's bathroom. Otherwise plenty of shelters, a large pavilion, and a large walking trails.
Always clean! The grounds keepers do a great job! I would like to see better control of drug and alcohol ics using the picnic tables as a hang out. Also, I notice a few people who still bring their pets generally on Sundays when park staff or ground keeper's are not on duty.
7yo: I liked the tall climbing playground, the slide was the best
3yo: the blue slide was fast!
5yo: I hate everything.

So take that as you will, it's a modern park with good shade, a veiw, and updated climbing equipment and safety features. Great place to kill an hour or two.
A quiet and cozy little spot where 3 trails meet, good scenery, clean and well kept up. A good place to relax or take a scenic walk, and located right by a local restaurant if you're hungry. The only things it's really lacking that would make it better is perhaps a picnic area and a water source.

Kids loved it!! Also, there is so much for them to do and stay entertained its a great place thats free and fun for everyone
Nice facility sometimes take the kids to play
This park department is top notch, Warsaw has outstanding variety, progressive and innovative programming. Inclusive and accessible public spaces that offer a variety of active and passive uses and recreation. Very well taken care of and safe.
It's a nice park with ample space and areas to explore. Came out to fly a quadcopter and it was a blast. It's also decorated very nicely for the holidays. Havent had a chance to see it at night but will do so before the season is over. Center lake is also a very nice small lake.
