It basically has everything you need for ‘pasalubong’ when going to Cebu. Sellers are really great and approachable.

Cheapest deals for dried fish and other Cebu pasalubong choices. Expect to smell like dried fish when you leave. Ahead of time, better arrange your transpo going to and fro since some drivers refuse to pick up passengers from the market.
This bustling market is renowned for its impressive selection of dried fish, with danggit being a standout favorite. The air is filled with the enticing aroma of various seafood, creating a truly immersive experience.

In addition to the dried fish, Taboan offers delicious dried mangoes, perfect for pasalubong to take home. The prices are affordable, and the quality is excellent, making it a great place to stock up on local treats. The vibrant atmosphere and friendly vendors add to the market's charm.

If you’re in Cebu, Taboan Market is a must-visit.
if you want to buy pasalubong, like danggit, dried pusit, dried mango, and otap (shamrock) more cheaper here, and ask the seller for more discounted price especially if you buy bulky.. you will enjoy here.. mura as you say, and after when you ride taxi you smell like danggit🤣 , might the taxi driver mad a lil coz you smell tuyo or danggit.

Great place to buy dried fish. Lots of variety and prices are very reasonable.
It’s my first time coming here with a friend. It wasn’t bad—there was some kid pickpocketing, but other than that, it was fine. All the vendors seemed to have the same price for danggit, which was 900 per kilo. It was actually a fun experience. They even vacuum-sealed our dried fish without us having to ask, which was amazing.
They sell many variants of dried fish and other pasalubong. If you want to buy dried fish, better bring extra shirt, the smell of dried fish will stick to your clothes.
The smell of dried fish welcomes you in this place. The Stingy smell of the variety of dried products attracts tourists as it offers the taste of Cebu's delicacies. The area was a little bit crowded with children and beggars when they knew these people who just came are new to this place. We went to a store that offered a free taste of fried dried fish. For people who have flights and wanna buy to bring home, the store also offers to pack it in a sealed plastic and boxed it accordingly to reduce damage during checkin. The products may be pricey but you can also ask for a discount especially if you buy a lot.
