Reviews

You have to visit this museum to Belgrade to live a different and exciting experience.

Museum is really interesting don't skip it if you visit the fortress. Prices are not indicated anywhere you need to ask the lady in front of the entrance and I think they were a bit high considering the museum is small.
Could be more lights, even if it puts you in a scary atmosphere with the wind making objects move a bit we had to turn on our flash lights to read the signs and that is a bit annoying.

It's not very fun but dragon is very very very fun!

Our kids had so much fun and enjoyed themselves with all the exhibits and spent another 30 minutes playing with the toys at the end. The girl at the entrance, Dorotea, was very friendly and informative and checked in on us during the visit. Definitely fun for the entire family. Wish they had 2 more floors to enjoy.

It was such a nice experience while we were here in Belgrade, it’s 100% worth it, we spent more than 2 hours here 😅 there are some cool games you can play and even better spots for pictures. The staff was super friendly and Aleksandra was very helpful. 100% recommend it

I went to the museum and was told off citing that you need to fill a form first after which they will assess if you are eligible to visit or not. On enquiring the reasons I was informed that it's a safeguard measure to prevent 'attacks' against the Jewish community worldwide. I have been to the synagogues and Jewish history museums earlier (as recently as 2 weeks back in Budapest) but never ever heard this reason. The guys at the gate also asked me 'who you are' maybe to know my race/ethnicity to which I just responded with my name. The whole thing sounded kinda insulting and weird to me so I left without filling the form. If someone is still interested I suggest going to their website and going through the instructions, which, I hope they have updated.

- Mostly funny for kids, but a funny adult can find his way to enjoy it also.
- 1 hour is enough for the whole place.
- Staff were super friendly and they helped us through all the photos.
- I would just say (7.5€/900dinara) is a bit expensive for this.

This was an amazing and fun experience. The staff was excellent and the museum offered us a m amazing time for adults and childs.

It was written on the door that the museum opens on 11:00 am, we waited till 11:30am and no one showed up

Possibly the cheapest amusement park in Belgrade, with very good attractions."

Pretty run down, very few rides, no regard for safety and mostly grumpy staff. Only giving two stars, instead of one as one man there was kind to my son.

Tickets are bought at the gate. Interesting museum. Gives a lot of perspective to historical norms and cruelty.

A different idea within the museum’s area, and very good for kids up to 12-14 years old. After this level is probably becoming not so interesting. The space isn’t too big, but enough to spend 1 hour. Ticket cost is super reasonable.

Very interesting and chilling museum that captures the shocking extent of human cruelty. It's definitely worth visiting to learn and reflect, especially since these methods have not ended but rather become more sophisticated and elusive in today's world.

A bit destroyed. Needs a renovation soon. Lots of litter in the grass. Despite cars not permitted, they still go there sometimes.
But the view on the other side is beautiful, and the park is good enough for a stroll / run / ride.
Nothing to do there with kids

Its a 2 floor fun place for mainly kids. Staff was extremely kind and friendly and was able to speak English fluently. Kids enjoyed it a lot. It takes 30 to 60 mins to see everything. Its a good option to entertain kids.

Great fun and definitely a must do in Belgrade! Open till 10 so it was the perfect activity for a chilli March evening. The illusions are great fun and you’re guaranteed some fab photos
Katarina was very helpful and patient with us trying to get all the right angles! Hoghly recommend

Really interesting museum with lots of torture tools to look at.
Fascinating insight into human history and how insanely cruel we could be to people who have only been accused of a crime.
400 Serbian dinar each (under £4) and there was no audio throughout the tour, it was just yourself walking around at your leisure.

A great family friendly amusement park with affordable prices. To go on rides you buy tickets or coins from the booth. You can use both at any of the rides afterwards which was nice. The park is situated about 30min from the city center but it is worth the trip. You can combine the experience with a nice stroll beside the river. Popcorn, bbq corn and ice cream are sold at many stands at half the price of Kalamegdan. Nearby is the Ušće Shopping Center.

Nice walk by the river

Super

Nice church with live singing. No smile, as in all Eastern Europe.

Interesting stories about the history of Jews on the ex-Yugoslav territories. Small museum, with the old exhibition, but very informative. Great stuff!

Very impressive church. If you happen to be in Zemun, you should take a moment to visit it.

nothing urban nothing funncy nice to walk near river with your dog

Warmest day in this year. It wasn't pleasant at all inside the church. However, there was no pleasant place that day unless it is freezer.
On the other hand this is so beautiful church.

This park is lovely and obviously well-loved by the neighbourhood. Lots of families out with their kids, people walking their dogs or just enjoying a nice evening walk. Really nice spot.

Nice small church with nice paintings

A nice little fun park for kids

best church, good energy always. I had best theology classes there when i was in elementary school.

This is a small amusement park on the riverbank in Zemun. While most amusement parks are located in suburban areas, built as small cities with an oversaturation of everything, this one has a dozen old school joy rides that are more than enough to enjoy yourself. Plus you can always dash out take a stroll along the promenade or have lunch or drinks on one of the boat restaurants and bars, ans return for some more fun. Everything is open and down to human-size, if you know what I mean. A paint job is well overdue, so that's why it's four stars.

it’s closed 😊🙌 and they were so aggressive

Very beautiful church, with amazing people. Church is located in old town what makes you to feel more special. We done here daughter’s baptism and our wedding, and we are really happy about that.

Situated behind an unassuming door, and then another door, a stairwell and another door in an apartment building - we almost missed it altogether. It is a very dated and worn museum in need of a benefactor to spruce it up and revise it to 2022. The displays cover an intriguing history of a Jewish community that existed in this corner of Europe for 2000 years, although it recent years has shrunk to only a couple thousand individuals. It doubles as an archive, where active research is also happening, and all their documents are being digitized. Worth a visit for Jewish history aficionados- but just know what to expect.

Although an older museum and small, it holds a wealth of information about a subject not known by many. Important history is housed here.

One of the most interesting museums I have ever been to in my whole life. With the audio in a supporting role, and armed with decent English translations, the horrifying visuals of tortures and actual tools used for them sent chills down one’s spine. It is just amazing. One cannot help but think about the seemingly endless creativity of our species to inflict harm on one another. Must go if you are around town.

Oldie but goodie. Fun for kids maybe up to 10 years of age tops. Anyone above would find it boring pretty quickly. Not really expensive, so that's ok. My kids (12 and 6 y.o.) spent 30 minutes there and were done.

The workers are friendly and helpful, the exhibits are well put together and illuminating, and there are brochures with a suggested walking tour of Jewish Belgrade.

Ok

Amazing new year celebration. The area was full of fireworks!! But even the others days just for a walk was also nice.

Beautiful church, one time view.

Museum is not too big, but it gives information quite well. The history of Jewish in Yugoslavia/Serbia is explained in very good order. The exhibition also shows the equipment's of the Jewish people when they pray or do religious activities.
Ticket is also free.
Ticket is also free.

Solid park but from opening here is nothing new for us local people all staying old it's shame

Fresh and fine Air in the Bank of waterfront.. walking, jogging, cycling and much more.

Great part of the river Sava left side. Lot of potential. Great view to the new Belgrade waterfront. Peaceful and fine for walking near the river.

Traumhaftes Ambiente, sehr schöne orthodoxe Kirche 🙏

There's still grass on this side! Enjoy it as you can until they think of some concrete to put here too! Would be enough to empty the bins and just fix the tiles, otherwise it's very nice (and long) walk along the river.

The Church of Holy Virgin is the largest church in the old part of Zemun. I love the icon of the Holy Virgin on the left side, don't miss it! It's miraculous.

Great place to see

Wide, clean and well maintained as these things go. There are playgrounds for children and a dedicated space for dogs. All in all pleasant family area.

It's looked really pretty fit for children.

Dear Srbija, for God's sake, do something with this overhead wiring all over the Zemun!

Wow, fortress is great choice for this exhibition
This isn’t typical for us, so you can learn much about stuff people used to use for torturing others
Also I’ve never seen actual stake in real life, it’s so horrible even to this of people being tortured in that way

One of 3 bigg park in Belgrade, its nature, for kids, old people, and a box for a dogs. Good place to enjoy in nature, when is outside temperature 30+c

Beautiful church in Zemun, they have parking inside the church yard, great for weddings

We adore this park. There are two fenced park lots inside the big park. One is yellow for kids let's say from three years and the red one for babies and todlers. The yellow one has sand lot inside, so if your kid loves that this one is perfect 😉

It is a small church, there is no many visitors but it has its park where you can sit and enjoy beautiful view. Located in Kumodraz.

Ok

Great place to ejoy in nature and to look at Belgrade on the water

Cozy park, have several playgrounds for kids, as well as one full and one half basket court. Park is also big enough to have 3 to 5 k run in several laps around. And aesthetically the park is beautiful.

This place shows how humans were cruel to each other tens or hundreds years ago and which tools they used to torture others maybe because of false assumption that lead to torture someone to make him confess.
This place contains torture tools mainly from Austria, Germany, France and Spain.
And they still have some tools used till today.
It's not a big place but the atmosphere of the place makes you feel that you are facing a trouble and you start feel the same feeling of the prisoners because of the tools, decorations and sounds system.
The ticket is for 300 hundred or around 2.5 euros as i remember.

This is one of the largest open parks in Belgrade. Its 7.7 hectares large. It was adapted to have more playgrounds for kids in 2011. Now it has 3 sport courts and 4 playgrounds with modern play items. There is running water in the park center. As always in Belgrade, if you are coming by car, its better to park 100-200m away in smaller streets because open parking only has 10 parking spots. Always plenty of kids and a LOTS of trees. It persists people and remains relatively clean and green.

its a good place to go for a walk with friends family or dogs . It has a lot of mini parks for kids with toys and other kid related stuff. I f u don't like walk you can sit on a bench and look at an amazing park in front there is also a little shop at the entrance so u can buy candy, ice cream, chips and other. It's a really nice place to go on a sunny day. ❤

Lot of information about the Jewish community in former Yugoslavia. You can see many things but in a old school way of presentation. Small museum with big history.
