Best park in Redcliffe. Always busy, but spread out with discreet nooks and crannies to make it private for a picnic lunch. Loads of amenities including accessibility playground, private showers in toilets, plenty of bbq's, bins, water fountains and dog poo bags provided. Dogs allowed on certain sections of beach. Boat ramp, filleting fish bench, loads of car park for trailers.

Great Spot for wind surfing, including Kite flying.
Ample parking space, close by amenities and nice beach front.
Has a playground for kids and BBQ spot, trees for shade and water bubbles for both people and dogs

Amazing new pirate ship themed playground.
Huge pirate ships with stairs or rope climb up. 2 slides, steering wheels, canon balls, binoculars, fireman poles. There’s a baby swing, kids swing, round web swing. There’s a sand play station, see-saw with one side for bigger kids and one for smaller kids on the other side. There’s rockers, a spinning station, soft fall and loads of soft sand to play in.
BBQs, plenty of covered seating, filtered water tap, rubbish and recycling bins, ocean views.
We walk up being only 7 minutes away, but there are always plenty of car spots available even on sunny, warm weekends.
4 stars because I wish there were toilets close by. But there’s some only about a 3-4 minute walk away; which isn’t too bad.

The new playground at Pelican Park is pretty cool. My kids had a great time there. It was very busy, but with 2 carparks and another close by, there seemed to be plenty of parking. Nice and close to the water, big open spaces, and the coastal walkway.

It could get a bit breezy there, but today we had a gentle breeze and it was lovely.
This is a fantastic place with interesting rock art. But it's terrible to see people and whole tour groups stepping off the path and walking over the precious engravings. Signs protecting the site should be larger and in different languages.
Such a fantastic part of Australia's history. Aboriginal Australians have lived on this land for 60,000 years, the world's oldest living civilisation. 🌏

These engravings are part of that history. Please respect them by walking on the metal boardwalk.

Signage indicates what the engravings are, and are helpfully oriented in the direction you're viewing them.

Beautiful waterside views with an enclosed playground for kids. Sunsets are spectacular here with views looking out towards the Hornibrook bridge.

The boat ramp at the venue makes this place appeal to those looking to venture out into the water with jet skis and boats.
These rock carvings are quite faint, but very easy to find. There is actually a boardwalk that goes from the main bush track that takes you right up to them, and they are clearly signposted with an explanation of what it is, along with a sketch. The great thing with that is it stops people from accidentally walking over the carvings. Carved into what I believe is sandstone, the carvings are slowly fading away over the years, but you can still make out its original shape.
Beautiful place Aboriginal carvings are one of the best seen in Sydney
Disappointed to see this amazing engravings left very much unprotected. NPNSW need to find a away to keep these amazing works open to the public but protected to stop people walking over them. Worth the short detour off the main Spit to Manly track.
Stills from the movie "They're a Weird Mob" filmed here in 1967, actors walking all over the site!! The engravings are much clearer back then.
You can surely see the etched markings in the sandstone. All are framed by wood beams.
Hardly anything to see there. The engravings are too faded to be appreciated.
