The lake is huge. There are a lot of things to do around the lake.

This spot is nice to visit ; sometimes we'll try going fishing here. My husband has gotten some bites on the line but it seems to be mostly catfish are caught around here. We've taken our dog to this spot regularly a couple weekends in a row but some days it gets busy.
Very peaceful place and great rental spaces for parties and gatherings.
We’ve had family parties, birthday parties. The boathouse has a large parking lot of both sides.
There is a dock where some bring their fishing pole.
Restrooms are also available.
There was a large playground, but we did not go to see it.

Shredded some wicked gnar curvatures up in here yo. Shade hut is up to finally keep those rays at bays.
The pool is real pool, the snake bowl is slippery, real spaced out street area.
Nice size park. Love the fence on the Eisenhower road side. Basketball court on other side. Usual little and big kid separators. Recent (mid-March '24) the bug main slide was out of commission and kids were losing their mind. It was sad but funny as well. It was like a game of telephone and the last wouldn't understand what was shared and go check and it'd start over again
All around, a great park! My family and I played tennis here this past weekend. The courts were nice and clean. It was approaching the evening, so we also got the beautiful sunset and lake views. They have court lights, and they work really great. The playground is close by and restrooms if needed.
Very nice little park! It has a children's playground with slides, a swing set, seesaw, etc. Etc. There is also a baseball park area, two full tennis courts, flat, open area, tons of mature trees, and a few picnic tables. Really nice little park.

There is street parking. It is very close to the park making it easy to haul the kids and dogs and bags. I did not see a public restroom. There is a very beautiful horse statue. It isn't directly on the park it is Located on the grass area right beside the play area. It doesn't move but it is so pretty and kids still get excited to climb onto it or get a boost up to the seat to sit on it! No tables or sheltered rest areas. However it is surrounded by a giant grassy area perfect for a picnic on a nice warm day or even on a windy cold day if you prefer that instead! It does have a sign saying no dogs on the playground area. In my experience that is pretty common for all parks. It's no inconvenience and should not be a determining factor to make you go elsewhere, as mentioned before there is a grassy area for the dog to lay, play, and be a part of the family!
Don't skate , dropped a friend off , he goes alot.
Nice park, not too big, nice grass, shade to sit in, tennis courts. Good place to just pull over and chill!

Just wish pet owners would follow the signs and law and keep them on a leash and clean up after them! So be careful letting your children run and play please

It is a nice place to go to relax and take in the view. There is a playground to keep the kids busy while you sit and watch. The pavilions are nice and clean.
Always a fun place to go with the kids. There’s a splash pad, sand box, great views and plenty of shade for the parents on a hot day.
During the summer we enjoy the farmers market on Sundays and go swim in the river or play in the splash pad. The river runs right through the park!
The grounds guy is sharp and does a great job keeping the place up. Even when there’s events and the market place going on. I wish I knew his name but he seems to be the main maintenance/grounds guy there. Job well done.

Lovely, lovely park. Took my 4 grandkids to fish, and the whole experience was wonderful. This park is clean, and structures are in great repair. The staff in the boathouse were super nice and so helpful. They have all kinds of supplies and bait available for reasonable prices. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to return for a family picnic in the future as we saw a lot of picnic tables and ample parking available. The day was pretty hot, and we didn't catch any fish, but we still had fun.

My only complaint is that there are campers that hang out in the area. Most mind their own business, but a few are visibly under the influence. Hopefully the city can get these people into help.

The splash pad is great! Some decent shade spots nearby to set up and let the kids play.
The drop in tables are also great, it's nice to be able to have a table when you need it.
The playground is good! Some of the spots need a bit of refreshing, such as where the tree roots are coming up. No big deal really.
The restrooms area usually in good condition. My only concern is the campers hanging around in there sometimes.
I love the outdoor workout gym too!

This is a lovely park to bring your kids to. Let them play in the stream by the park or in the actual water park on site. There are multiple play areas for kids.
Great spot for large group gatherings! Family and pet friendly with the river nearby for swimming. There is also an off leash dog park to the right of the park that you can walk to and let your pup run off some energy.
Decent park. Not the cleanest. Also bad mosquito problem. I just left with my 1 year old and we both got 5 bites each with only being there 30 minutes
I love the splash pad and so do my kiddos. We've always gone when there are many other families but today we went around 330pm and there was no one else there. A homeless woman walked up to the same water feature as my child and started to wash her hair. We left and will only be going back when there are more families around.
Nice place to access the river. Picnic tables and play area is some shaded some sun. Pavilion with picnic tables.
Gorgeous! Has so many possibilities, whether you'd like a hike, a stroll, a snack at the store, gear, fishing, canoeing, boating, etc. There are restrooms and picnic tables, plenty of shade.
Playground was nice,and lawn was well kept, but all trash cans were completely full and the bathrooms need a thorough cleaning.
Beautiful stopover on the Loop Trail. Public bathroom, but not sure about water. Excellent view of the Big Thompson. Pavilion usually occupied, LOL!
Lots of shade, tables, and the river is nearby. The playground was in great shape and the pavilion was fairly clean.
Stayed for hours. There is a shaded sand box and splash pad!

To turn on the water at the splash pad - touch the end of the purple thing (you’ll see when you arrive).

Good places to put in on the river. Seems to be a popular fishing spot. We boated from here to old Milford when the water was pretty low and it was still pretty easy going.
Has a portable public restroom. Tiny park with shade structure holding 8 picnic tables and 2 grills. Playground takes up about 1/3rd of the grassy park that's almost surrounded by trees.
Decent park. Lots of baseball fields and some nice walking paths along the river.
Amazing skatepark; the snake flows beautifully, and the street section is fun as well. I wish they would turn the lights on during the night time especially for summer, as this would make my rating a 5 stars. One complaint I have is near the stairs, the concrete is rough and unrefined. This makes skating in that area difficult and a little sketchy at times. Overall, an amazing community is present at this park and I look forward to the owners improving the small issues that are present.
Wonderful kids park along with green spaces and tennis / basketball courts. It is next to a busy thoroughfare but the noise is reasonable and the kids don’t mind. A great playground with swings and various equipment to keep a wide range of ages happy and engaged. We stayed for an hour with 7, 5, and a two year old that always had something to do. We will be back!

Great place to allow your kids to hang out while your waiting for someone who in the hospital across the street. Great people and nice fresh air. WARNING ⚠️ WATCH YOUR KIDS PLEASE!!!! Near busy road.
Nice park. There is a smaller sized base and mound field that can be used for baseball, kickball, and softball. There is a playground that kids can play on as well. There is a good amount of tree coverage as well.
A very nice out of the way park that is more of a hidden gem the longer you stay, even in the playground that is pretty fun there are signs of deer and other animals (tracks, droppings, fur, etc...) it is somewhat of a challenge to avoid stepping in a wildlife reminder but the area is plenty fun to explore. The kids will love the small forested area and river that run nearby, also a running trail for the outdoor enthusiast. I saw someone with a done even. We were there for a family photo and the backdrop was perfect. Yes there is even a bbq opportunity but I think you have to get a permit with the city. A really nice park, just be careful getting into and out of the parking lot, traffic is... well... it's traffic so be safe!
Great baseball oriented park with a batting cage and a playground across the way for the ones not interested in baseball.
Awesome park, great snake bowl & fun pool, decent sized flat ground area, and nice variety of ramp sizes. Great for all skill levels. Nice people, too :)
A really nice gate park and it's very clean... The group of people that show up usually are pretty friendly to my 11 yo son as well... We can easily spend 2 to 3 hours here!!
I love this place. It's awesome for all ages. Today we have a 3 year old to and 83 year old, and everyone enjoyed it. It's nice to sit on the deck over looking the lake, and my parent's enjoyed the rocking chairs. There's a bait shop there with fishing supplies, snacks, ice cream in the summer, and outdoor stuff. Then we headed to the playground to play and the adults could sit and watch from the bench or the covered picnic area.
This is probably my favorite park, it's small but the Big Thompson River that runs through is so so peaceful.
Love this little neighborhood park. Never very crowded. Swings, slide, jungle gym, little sit on rides, balance beam. Sitting areas, Porta potty in summer, open field, te. Is court too. Lovely flowers
Great area to have an active day with family.
This is a very nice park with lots of things for kids less than 15. Others might be bored. The biggest problem that we have with it, is that completely close the restrooms during winter. They also have lots of picnic tables, and it bordersa creek/river. They have a water play area, which I assume is active during the summer months.
Great trails and scenery. The softball fields, waterpark and skatepark are all rigut there as well. Come check it out sometime!
Great team pain skatepark. Not for beginners. Transitions are tighter them most parks in northern Colorado

Beautiful view of lake and mountains, behind. Well-kept, pavilion and bbq's. Great new play area for kids, tennis courts, lots of big shade trees. We go there a lot.
We picked up some food and kids wanted to eat at a park, found this park. Kids liked the playground but there is not place to site and have a meal or a snack. So many mosquitoes that could be controlled by city of Loveland.
This is a really nice park that isn't huge and constantly packed. There are several pieces of play equipment, basket ball and tennis courts, 2 pavilions, and lots of open space for activities. I recommend this park for families who want a casual day in a quieter area that has great views!
I played here for years and now my kids play here. It is a nice park and well maintained. Real bathrooms that are usually clean and functional even though they are heavily used during tournaments. I appreciate the multiple torments in Northern Colorado throughout the Spring and Summer so we have fewer trips to Denver.
Great park to take your kids to or just have some fun outdoors. There are shelters that you can reserve for parties, BBQs, or get-togethers. There are also basketball and tennis courts.
One of the most notable items near the playground is the cannon. While most if the moving parts don't function (obviously for safety reasons) kids love climbing all over this.
On another note, this is one of the best parks to catch the independence day firework show in Loveland. Just be sure to get there early, as available places to sit tend to fill up quickly.

No winter restroom facility's they close them down and put a outhouse right next to busiest part of path and path is part of a couple different bike paths which go thru park
Great place to walk the bike trails..
The skate park is great itself, we are here every time it's sunny. My only request is that we need benches beside the park on the east side. It's just a patch of dirt so it would be perfect for the parents and grandparents that want to watch their littles skate. Love everything else.
Great playground with stuff for many ages/abilities, large shade trees, tennis courts, 3 large pavilions, large open grassy areas, decent bathrooms (with water AND soap!), and a view of Lake Loveland. Caution with the kiddos on the cannon, but gosh they love to climb on that thing!
