The Pebble Beach of the Carribean! Shout out to my Caddie Henry.
Great conditions and well manicured. Caddies were helpful. Enjoy your game!
What an incredible place!!! A short ride from our resort ( Secrets Cap Cana ) and we were immediately greeted by their welcoming staff. The pro shop was well stocked. The course had a large practice facility. You can practice chipping, putting and the driving range allowed you to hit every club in the bag. The facility offered modern ammenities. Clean locker rooms and showers. The beverage cart was present almost every 3 -4 holes. The cold towel after the round was much appreciated.
Our caddie ( a must specially for first timers ) - Jorge was experienced and very knowledgeable.
A Jack Nicklaus design. The course offers interesting challenges and incredible views. The signature par 3, 200 yds (from the gold tees) over the water is worth a few photos.
Now I completely understand why it was ranked #35 in the world
(Golf Digest).

Can’t wait to come back!!!

Lol, one of the reasons I chose the hotel was to enjoy the water park, so I did that and had the best time ever!!!
The most beautiful golf course I’ve had the chance to play. Very stunning vistas. Pricey but well worth the greens fees amount. The greens have a lot of contours that I missed, so having the caddy (Tom) was a big help. Practice area is 1st class…locker rooms are amazing…course conditions were fantastic for July 2024.

The shuttle pick up was on time and fast from Zilara/Ziva resort.

Me and my family always stay in RIU hotels. We like the fact that they almost always have a waterpark included. We like this one a lot, even though it is a little bit small. Most waterparks in resorts are not that big anyway. You may have to walk a little, depending on which hotel you're staying at. We always have a great time here.

We visited here expecting to able to do a full tour and tasting of the coffee, chocolate and rum.

The only positive was the chocolate samples where you could try all the chocolate on offer (which were $7 a bar!). We then wandered around aimlessly - the coffee sample was a tiny thimble of coffee (and only one of what was on offer) - each 250g bag was circa $20. You could only try one rum and the guy serving was very dismissive, and a little rude when I asked to try a different one (which he said was not possible).

The chocolate guys were great, everyone else was moody and so uninterested in us as customers. We ended up buying some stuff, but it’s essentially a 10 minute whizz round to make some expensive purchases, definitely not a “must do” experience as some of these inexplicable reviews suggest.

We did not do the cigars so can’t comment on that aspect.

They offer a free shuttle to and from your hotel.

A nice place to visit in Punta Cana if you are a cigar lover. Prices are too high compared to the prices we pay for cigars in the US and Canada. Not sure if it was worth it or not. I ended up picking up few cigars to try. They shuttle you for free from your hotel.
The views on this golf course were stunning! My wife and I were so glad we decided to get a round of golf in here and the experience was definitely worth the price. I have never had a caddy before this and made the round that much better. Instead of tracking your ball, worrying about yardage, or trying to figure out the layout of the course, we were able to just take it all in.
Fun place for the child.
I found it a bit unsafe as I could see a piece of concrete hanging off some spots of the walls. Needs some updating for sure.
Vews are second to none. Course is challenging. Golf carts were wobbly. Greens were in need of work. Patchy and dried out in places. On busy days, only one caddy per 4 making it hard for the caddy to help everyone.

This separate waterpark is available to other guests of the resort with ample seating. The water was warm, but several of the slides were closed off. It was an okay alternative but is in need of some work.

Stunning golf course. Absolutely cannot fault the course. The beauty is just phenomenal but aside from that it’s a really good course. Some interesting holes with risk/ reward. One of my favourite ever courses. The overall clubhouse experience and caddie etc needs some polishing up. A bit of a poor guest experience, but you quickly forget that as soon as you step on the course. Worth a visit here if you’re a golfer.
Nice park for the kids. No liquor sales for the grown ups until 3 pm. We decided to go to other parks within the Bahia Principe complex on other days so dad and grandpa could have beers haha

One of my favorites on the island along with Teeth of the Dog, Corales, PGA Oceans and Punta Espada. Always in great shape and everyone is super friendly. The food is amazing, the pro shop has cool souvenirs and the service level is VIP. Caddies are optional for Westin guests (Corales and Punta Espada require caddy use)

There are 27 holes with Arrecife being the signature course (17th and 18th holes are right along the ocean with breath taking views). Each course has unique features including drivable par 4s, island green par 3s, etc. All three are challenging but very playable and fair

Definitely worth the money! I highly recommend this course!
Completely approve! A stunning track. Really playable and certainly challenging. A tad pricey but overall: worth every penny. I highly recommend it!

Interesting Factory Stores Outlet
My wife and I were taken to Don Lucas by our Coming2 tour as part of our Punta Cana vacations back in Jan 2023. We managed to step into all of these 5 shops (Azul del Mar, the cigar live factory, Kokoa, Oliver Ron, and the coffee shop), and especially the main souvenir shop. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. My wife was intrigued by the precious stones so much so that she bought a bunch of earrings. First time (in my life) that I tried smoking an authentic cigar made exclusively for me by the friendly staff lady. The 4 dudes at the Kokoa shop made us feel welcome, providing us with many tastes of unique chocolate samples. Bought quite a bit of chocolate bars and cocoa products. The only drawback were the souvenirs at the main shop; very pricey. Still I highly recommend coming here to experience that wonderful Dominican welcoming hospitality!

I love this area, visited coco bongo and it was spectacular
This was a very happy surprise. It has been at least six years since I last played Punta Blanca. The grass coverage on the fairways has increased noticeably and the greens had an excellent grass cover and were free of weeds. It is not expensive to play there if you are a member if Fedogolf. The clubhouse is fairly basic and so is the food but the service is friendly but a tad slow

Had an excellent time and treated like royalty by Jose the cigar shop manager. He my wife and I feel like family. Excellent cigars. I bought a box of Fuentes Opus X cigars and Oliver Presidential Rum. We literally could have spent all day here. Cool vibe around the whole place and smoking cigars is welcomed everywhere. Like cigar heaven!!

Lifeguard doesn’t really pay attention to saving life or preventing children from getting hurt. I seen many children come down slides one after the other and then nearly drowning the first kid because the second landed on top of the first one. There is chips, doughnuts, corn chips hot dogs, soda and juices but not beer or cocktails.

Don Lucas is the place to go if you want coffee, cigars, chocolate, and a big dose of Dominican hospitality courtesy of Jose and his hard-working crew.

You'll get a chance to try some rum, smoke a fresh cigar, taste some amazing chocolate, and drink freshly picked coffee.

This two hour tour is totally worth your time.

Golf course was amazing! In great shape! Beautiful views. What made the experience exceptional was our caddy John. Very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Was able to help me pick clubs within a few holes after paying attention to my swing and distances. I made 2 birdies putts with his reads and help.
If you visit the Dominican Republic and are a keen golfer, then this is lovely club to visit. Booking is required as there is no queuing to wait for the next tee. Buggies are a must though. Clubs can be hired and are of good quality as well.

Great place to hang out 😃
Great course layout and design. Fun and friendly so great players to beginners can enjoy it. The condition was impeccable and the value was amazing. If you like golf and have the time bring your sticks and fit it in.
Club rentals had mavriks and ap1 with vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron center shaft mallet putter. Putter shaft loose. Greens were aerated and staff informed us prior to the round. They gave us a15% discount. Their version of aerating was very different and the greens were cratered and lighted brushed with sand. Bunkers were hard pack with lots of rocks and unplayable. Driver lofts were all over the place other than 10.5 std. Staff were great and had cold beverages and made rounds 3-4times over the round. 85 per person with lunch during the round and a dinner after included. Complementary range balls also included. Pick up and deliver deliver from the adjacent hotels.

Great experience! Played with a caddy, course was in great shape, rental clubs were decent, bring balls, drinks not included.
What a nice place for the kids, I love the snack bar that has what our kids want. However, lifeguards need to make more control about some kids who play a little rudely, but without being careful with little ones who are also around. I really like the place, though.
punta cana was a dream come true . this place was absolutely beautiful
Amazing visit. It is a little touristy. But if you take time to enjoy a good cigar while there and talk to the bar man, you will learn a ton!if you are nice, they may let you roll your own cigar.
The staff couldn't have been friendlier! Great layout, very forgiving off the tee, small greens. Very well maintained and very fun to play. Love the back 9, 3 3's, 3 4's, and 3 5's.
Coco Bongo is good time very good shows , Vegas style

We had a great time shopping here, they had a few different buildings selling different products, there was Cocao, and fresh made chocolate, another building for cigars where you could watch them making the cigars. There was a lovely jewelry store with silver jewelry and native stones from the area, a souvenir shop, and of course rum. My favorite was the rum with caramel, took home a bottle that had cinnamon and chili peppers added to it, my son enjoyed that.

Beautiful,Nice location there in Punta Cana. The airport is close by,lots of restaurants and Markets right outside the resort which is a plus in my opinion. Everyone caters to your every need there are many parts of this resort i noticed while driving our golf cart but I stayed in the Tortuga Bay area of the Resort and rented out a villa for a lil over a week it was very nice and Peaceful there,I did not want to return to the states but it was a nice Resor! The food is not the greatest on the Resort in my opinion and the Westin that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner was closed due to renovation, etc when I went so my family and I tried a few of the other restaurants located on the resort premise and it was just mediocre food nothing that had me wanting to come back, lots of things lacked flavor but everyone was polite and professional there at the resort. Heads up, The real food is out in town! Wether you want Wendy's, Taco bell or the Authentic food and Restaurants!
Just gourgeous. What an amazing and fun course. Tons of beautiful plants and animals along the way.

Great place for 7-99yo. Bring a towel just in case. Remember where the shuttle is picking you up from. :) slides of all types. From trill seekers to slow riders. Plus there is cute wildlife nearby.
Great resort course. Pace of play was great. Had a blast!

Beautiful, challenging course. Kind of pricey though, especially since golf is "included" with our all inclusive package. $30-$50 for clubs, $50 per person for a cart, $12-$30 per three golf balls and merchandise is very expensive. All USD don't forget, so Canadians pay a lot more. Lunch is included after 9 holes. It was literally a hotdogs bun with a little bit of chicken on it. No drink. No chips. No vegetables. Very disappointing. Golf with friends was nice though. Bring your money!
Great course and comes with very attentive cart person. Drank a lot of free beer on this beautiful course..
Great golf course, water should not come into play but killer sand will.
Women must wear collared shirts, I had to pay $10 to rent one.
Here on a work vacation and with course on the resort made an easy and excellent choice. Championship tee blocks for the long game, we played white for the casual day but is still challenging with beautiful views. If staying and are a casual or seasoned golfer I highly recommend doing so.

Nice course fairly forgiving but bring your own golf balls as they are expensive here. They do have clubs to rent but cost either $35 Callaway razr, $45 TaylorMade speed blades, or $55 USD Titleist Ap2. Golf cart rental was $40 USD.

Course was fun, staff and caddies were 5 star. Conditions could have been better, greens were different for each 9. Some great views.
Would definitely play again and recommend it .
We had a good time at Punta Blanca
Staff was friendly and helpful,
Golf course was ok, wide fairways , not too much trouble.
Blakendy was awesome, never went without a beer or water.
Sandwich at the turn was not that great.
Would play again but wouldn’t pay more than $100
Very close to majestic Colonial, 5 minutes by golf cart .
The water park is for kids only and it's not written any where. I am a mom 150cm small, and I would like to go on the slide to play with my kids, but life guard said it's company rules, parents are not allow to go on the slides, some kids is even taller than me but they were able to. Not going to argue. But it's a shame that parents are not allowed to go with kids. So we went once only during our 2 weeks stay there. It get pretty bored for older kids

It was a very cool experience. The only thing I wish they had was more ice cuz the drinks was warm. The water fell good temperature. The ride was very fun. The kids section was cool for my son. He enjoyed it.
Definitely a bucket list course with one of the best views of all the courses i have played till date. The course's condition of immaculate when i played last September. We had 2 caddies with us and both of them were pretty helpful. Overall, a very enjoyable course. Pricey yes -but you gotta play this course!.
This course is not only inside the first sustainable resort in Punta Cana, but its design is so comfortable its fun for beginners, mid golfers and pros, you will be able to see the resorts different areas when playing.

The guys at the shop are AMAZING! Ramon, Jeriel, Dulce you guys are the best! See you next year!

This course is better than can cun Iberostar golf course.
Water and snack and alcohol is free for hotel guest.
Well designed beutiful course. That's why I played 11 round every day at this course.
Even though I played golf every day, I never got tired of it.
We loved these slides. Our 6 year Olds had a blast and the adults had crazy fun going down these slides. They also have a kiddy play area for the little ones.

Nice pool. Deep enough to swim. The slides are decent. Would be more fun if they had more water running down them. The lack of water slows down the ride. They have 8 slides but only 7 where available when I went. Good to spend a little while.

Great water park with Junior area which was great for my 10yr old daughter. My daughter has Downs syndrome and Complex needs and is too big for the toddler Riuland pool so this was perfect. A ramp (quite steep) for her wheelchair. A drinks area with tables and chairs, in the shade. Lots of sunbeds under shaded cabanas too.
Fun course... Impeccably maintained. Not a blade of grass out of place. There are some very unique features like the cave trap on 4 and the star hole on 9.

Great little water park with every to do for little kids age 6 and under. My daughter is 8 years old and she didn't like it much because the water was not at all deep for her to atleast swim. The kids bar besides it was great and had enough snacks and drinks for kids. Would love to try Fantasia water park next time.

The rate that we paid to play golf here was $129 a person.
We booked it through Nexus tours. When we were booking the round the Nexus tour agent tapped 4 adults and not 2 kids and 2 adults
(the option was there)
when I asked him why he did that he said the kids pay the same price as adults.
I was playing with my two boys who are 7 & 10 years old and my lovely wife.
When we got to the course I asked the ladies working in the pro shop about The kid's rate and according to the ladies working at the pro shop. They told us the same thing the nexus agent told us. I asked to see a price list and they told us to look on the website.
We did that and could not find the price of the course anywhere on their website or in the pro shop.
That was the only negative in my opinion.
They do have a dress code to play here, collared shirts and no jeans.
Everything else was up to par. The family and I absolutely loved it. We learned on our second round that if you stay at the resort you get 2 rounds each with your stay if you spend a week. If you don't spend a week your greens fees are reduced to something Like $45. I'm going bye what I was told by someone that works on the course.
Overall We all had a good time playing here and the kids loved hole #9 the starfish hole and the washrooms on the course are nice and clean.

Beautiful and fun water parks for babies up to even my 11 years old. The water is clean and not cold. Perfect height for my 2 years old. The bigger slide were fun for my 11 year old. The life guards are quick to come help an even give inflatable life jacket. I do worry about the cement steps to climb up the water park. And if you're hungry? No worries right next to to the water park they have hot dogs, nachos and plenty of juice to refill and go back. Nonetheless you'll kids will love it! So will you as it will tire them out for mommy and daddy to relax after.
