My favourite mall in Tokio!
They have tons of stores with cute clothes and accessories! And they have plus size clothes as well oj the first floor at pure. Was here more than once.

My New Year visit to Tokyo's Sunshine City Mall was exceptional. The mall's atmosphere was buzzing with festivity, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. The variety of excellent shops catered to all my needs and interests, offering both quality and variety. Additionally, the dining options were fantastic, with great restaurants serving delicious cuisine. Sunshine City Mall provided the perfect blend of shopping and dining, making my New Year's experience truly special.

World largest capsule store is here. And there's a pokemon center. Great place if you are a fan of anime and gacha! There's a mini aquarium here with otters and penguins. Best place to explore if you haven't!

Fun place to shop and explore, but I prefer to stay away during the weekends. It gets very busy. The observation deck is nice. On a clear day you'll get to see Fuji-san.

Short walk from the rail, this is like a all
In one fantasy toy mall. Marvel in the basement, Garchapon, Pokemon, Disney, all sorts of drinks and food stalls.

Go visit and give yourself at least 4-5hrs there including a meal. So much to explore. If you are also visiting the aquarium, you will need even more time!
The rooms are spacious compared to those in Tokyo. The rooms are very clean. The bathrooms are well separated. There is also a spray for deodorizing. For breakfast there are many options to choose. The hotel is not far from the Ikebukuro area. Walk to go shopping in no more than 10 minutes. There is a FamilyMart in the hotel. The room window couldn't be opened. The air is not ventilating. The air conditioner is not cool. The hotel has several elevators. But waiting for the elevator for a long time.

Nice view of Tokyo. There are two floors with two different heights and prices. The basic one stops at the 350m. You can reach the upper floors for a small extra fee. My only concern was the presence of too many lights due to the exhibitions inside the Skytree tower. They ruin the atmosphere and make several reflections on the glass, making it quite hard to take clear pictures.
I think the fish comes in different sizes. There were different interesting species of fish, like lizards and eels. Overall, I think the aquarium is fantastic as it has many interesting fish. I waited for about 20 minutes in the queue and it was faster than expected. - J

There are many different types of fish. At first I didn't think that The museum is this big. There are many different types of fish and very good lighting and sound. In the outdoor area, there are many cute penguins. It's very worth coming.
Not the biggest aquarium I've ever been to, but at the same time it has a lot of things going for it that makes it stand out compared to others.
Many of the species of fish and other sea creatures aren't that common to see at other aquariums, thus this makes it worth the visit.
Oh and to top it off, there's penguins as well :)

This aquarium was one of my highlights in Ikebukuro. I recommend this to anyone in any age. Adult entrance fee is about 2600 to 2800 Yen.

Inside there are 3 sections, where one (in my opinion the best) is open air.

I also recommend to visit the performance of the seal - it was the best attraction there.

Very cool aquarium. It's not the biggest I've ever been to but was very well laid out and had a good variety of animals. I did feel bad for the giant octopus (i feel like his enclosure was way too small). 100% you should reserve your time in advance. We didn't and had to reserve a time 2 hours from when we got there.

Minus 1 star as the process of buying tickets was annoying (you had to reserve a time on your phone before getting there. Then during your time you have to wait in line to buy tickets (took about 20 minutes) . Then after you buy the tickets if you want to buy tickets to the special exhibit you wait in another line for 20 more minutes. I'm sure this is done to space out people at the exhibits but there has to be a better way for this.)
This aquarium is a perfect little place to spend a few hours. The indoor aquarium is great with a variety of different species of fish that I have never seen before. There is a huge tank that you can sit near and watch the fish swim for hours. They have a qr code that you can use, scan it, open the app and place your camera over the fish and it tells you what fish it is. There is 2 floors of the indoor aquarium. Outside is a coffee place with a smaller area. We were just in time to watch a quick seal show which was cute.

The entrance to the aquarium is from the mall. We spent a good few hours exploring the mall had some lunch. There are some great options for the afternoon tea as well. An afternoon we'll spent from the heat.

Tickets can be reserved in advance. Located at the top floor of sunshine city plaza area that can only be accessed via designated elevators. Really great displays with different kinds of viewing areas. Not a huge aquarium but still worth the visit!

Loved the whole experience! They have seats inside to just sit down and look at some tanks, very relaxing. If you go in later remember to visit the outdoor area first because a lot of the animals in the outdoor area are not on display past 6.30/7.00pm.
