Bit of a mixed bag here. Great location and the room looked good, but the walls were paper thin so we heard our neighbours partying until 2am. Bed wasn't made properly when we arrived (the sheet wasn't tucked in). The sofa was unbearably uncomfortable. There's a ridiculous boat wheel coffee table with spokes i the middle of a tiny lounge so that was annoying. But the bed was ok and the shower was great. Overall, just not worth the money for basically a cabin in woods. Wouldn't return

We visited the gardens and it was interesting to see how the trees had grown since our last visit many years ago. Lovely location.
I have to say that at £32 for two people it would not have been good value as you are in and out in no more than an hour or so. However we had half price vouchers, otherwise it would have been 3 stars.
Fabulous place to stay - accommodation was very clean, comfortable and had a good kitchen area. Very good shower and comfortable beds. It's set in beautiful gardens, and is a 10 miin walk to St Austell, and 10 min drive to the Eden Project. I would happily go back there and recommend to family and friends.

Excellent location. We stayed in one of the caravans but, there are also lodges for hire. The 30 acres of gardens, even in Autumn are fantastic to walk around and are part of the hire so, no admission fee.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. The gardens are in a great location to visit Charlestown,Mevagissey, Carlyon bay or, Par beach.
By the way, Pinetum is dog friendly but, there is a small charge.
Only visited the gardens, so I can't comment on the accommodation. Nice variety of trees and plants, would be nice for a dog walk. However, the tickets were quite expensive, especially when quite a large proportion of the ground was private.

While the gardens are lovely, we weren't exactly blown away by them, and found very little activities for children, despite this being advertised! £16 pp entry fee is quite steep for a stroll around the gardens, when there are much better parks for free elsewhere. I was also disgusted at the food prices i.e. £8.50 for a bog standard pasty which they microwave, £10+ for quiche and some crisps and £15 for a bowl of beef stew, all of which you eat in an open marquee which has seen better days. I'm not being funny but someone either needs to have a reality check or stop taking the pi@@ by ripping people off.

Just got home from a 6 day stay in the studio house. It's so lovely I did not want to leave. The studio is spotlessly clean and comfy. The outside area is gorgeous with bridges, ponds, ducks, water features and colourful plants. The cafe does amazing quiches, cakes and coffee. If you pre order they will cook you a yummy breakfast. It is in a great location for exploring Cornwall. Can't recommend enough. Can't wait to return.

Bit of a mixed review, obviously can't rate the rooms as we visited for the gardens. We arrived wanting lunch and saw online they served food. We got there to find the food is served in a big tent, and they only had pasties available and a few other odd bits. So we decided to go elsewhere, as we were rather hungry, and didn't want to pay £8-10 for a pasty.

Hopefully we'll return and visit the gardens properly.
