One pf the oldest mosques in madinah. Have a small area of prayer for both men and women. It is rarely opened for visitors. Very near to masjid al nabawi, just straight from gate 309 and 310. You will also find zam zam water at these gates.

Mosque of Al-Ghamamah (Arabic: مسجد الغمامة) is one of the oldest mosques in Medina, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is located south west of Masjid Nabawi and also bear toMasjid Nabawi gate no 310/311 Madinah, KSA. Prophet Mohammed (SAW) prayed eid-ul fitr and eid-ul Adha there. Prophet Mohammed (SAW) also prayed salat ul-Istasqa for rain. SubhanAllah afterwards it did rain. Supplicants and tourists are trying to visit it and pray two rakat “Tahiyatul masjid'' salat. The mosque is one of the historical relics of Medina. I paid to visit it on 05 January 2024 at evening and prayed two rakat Tahiyatul masjid salat. It is open at 10:00 hours and closed at 00:00 hours regularly.

Beautiful mosque, histrionic place, near masjid al Nabawi gate 311. Nice sitting area around mosque. Lovely atmosphere in the evening time.

Very well recommended museum on the history of Medina, with competent English speaking guide available that takes small groups around and explains. Dates and coffee offered. I learned a lot. Thank you!

A very informative and exceptional experience at this museum. It is a must see if you visit Medina! The English speaking guide did an incredible job simplifying the story of the prophet PBH as well as explaining the details of the exhibits. The exhibits themselves are built to a high level of detail and quality, and showcase the level of dedication and effort out toward this museum. I especially enjoyed seeing the large model of medina which took over 10 years to build. The craftsmanship that goes into projects like this are unreal. I do look forward to a future visit here!

The Masjid Al Ghamamah is located near the Masjid an Nabawi. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) prayed the two Eids prayers and also prayers for rain.

Very good park in madina , visit with family a hidden place not crowded et all even on friday, beautiful weather

Masjid Al-Ghamama, also known as the Masjid of the Clouds, is located in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. It holds historical significance as it marks the location where the Prophet Muhammad performed the Eid prayer, particularly Eid al-Fitr, during his lifetime. The Masjid's name "Al-Ghamama" refers to the cloud ('ghamam' in Arabic) that is said to have provided shade during the Prophet's prayer.
The Masjid is situated near the Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet's Masjid) and is relatively small compared to it. While not as expansive or well-known as the Prophet's Masjid, Masjid Al-Ghamama is still visited by pilgrims and tourists due to its historical importance in Islamic tradition.

A wonderful place to spend time, with a beautiful landscape, a garden, and a view of Madina that can be seen from the top. It's neat and clean, fully maintained, and has amazing greenery.

Muadh bin Jabal (رضي الله عنه) was once in search of Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ), persistently inquiring about his whereabouts until he ultimately discovered him in prostration within this cave. The Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ) remained in prostration for an extended period, then conveyed, “Jibraeel came to me and conveyed Allah's salam, asking, 'How would you like me to deal with your community?' I replied, 'Allah knows best!' Jibraeel departed and later returned, relaying, 'He assures you that He will not cause you distress due to your community.' Upon hearing this, I prostrated, as the ultimate act a servant can perform to draw closer to God is prostration."

The walk is simple, little bit steep and takes only few minutes to reach the top.

The first and biggest museum that specialized in the history of Almadinah and its deep heritage. The museum highlights the history of the city of our beloved prophet, peace be upon him, as well as its valuable heritage and great ancient civilization. The museum displays big collection of hand built models that shows you simulation of the actual old landmarks of the city as well as a big collection of rear pieces and rear shoots of the city and its history.

Mosque of Al-Ghamamah (Arabic: مسجد الغمامة) is one of the oldest mosques in Medina, Saudi Arabia, located in the place believed to be where the Islamic prophet Muhammad performed an Eid prayer in the year 631. It is also narrated that Muhammad offered Salat ul-Istasqa when the city of Madina faced a shortage of rain. For a while, this mosque was closed for daily prayers because of its proximity to the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. However quite recently it has been reopened for the worshipers for praying. Five times prayers are held in this mosque now with an internal sound system to avoid the clash of sounds from the Prophet's Mosque. The mosque is one of the historical relics of Medina.

As all other Masjids this anbariya Masjid is also very beautiful. This Masjid is located near to Masjid e Nabwai in fact anyone can easily come by walk in 10 mins. This was built by Turkish. A very beautiful Turkish train station is also beside the Masjid which gives a perfect historical look of both Masjid and Station. I suggest everyone who is on holy visit to Madina must go to see n offer prayer in Anbariya Masjid and then watch the train station.

Well maintained, clean. There is a seperate entrance for women at the east side of the mosque. This was the mosque where the prophet Mohamed saw did his last Eid prayers. Also the name means ‘cloud’ which refers to the fact that the prophet saw performed here the prayer to request rain, and subhanAllah afterwards it did rain.

Very nice experience. A detailed history of both Makkah & Madina, the two holy cities. The displays are very well put together. Tours are available in various languages. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Tickets are affordable at 25 riyals for adults and 15 riyals for children. I'd recommend visiting.

This is a really must visit place when in Medina. Our tour guide gave us so many insights and history about the prophet saw and his life and the history of Medina. I’ve learned a lot, and questions were welcomed and replied upon with much patience.
Our guide’s English was excellent as well as his knowledge on the matter MashaAllah.
We had a warm welcome with dates, Arabic coffee and were offered water as well.
The museum helps you imagine how Medina evolved and how the prophet saw has lived.

This is a Anbariya Masjid (مسجد العنبرية) also known as the Hamidiye Masjid, is also named after the Anbariya Gate, next to which the masjid was located. It was built by the Ottoman Turks in Medina, which is nowadays part of Saudi Arabia. The Masjid al-Anbariya was built as part of the Hejaz Railway project next to al-Muazzim Railway Station, which houses the Hejaz Railway Museum.

It is just walking distance from Ghazwa e khandaq place (Battle of trench). It is less known Islamic visiting place (Ziyarah) than many others.
It is also known as the Cave of Prostration. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known to have prostrated here in the cave upon receiving a message from Allah through the Angel Jibraeel. He was also reported to have spent some nights in this cave during the Battle of Khandaq(Trench).
Climbing is forbidden by Govt authorities and surrounding area covered by metal mash from all sides. Local person confirmed that sometimes militants also come here.
There is also a warning board placed, written in English, Arabic and Urdu : "No military zone" (Entrance to militant area not allowed).
Cave is not far away from the ground, just 5 minutes easy climbing up distance as told one of my friends. It is not an ordinary cave but space under a big stone on the mountain which can be see from the ground.
Anyways it was good experience to visit this Holy place. Recommended👍👍

Must visit place. If you want to know the history about the Makkah and Madinah and also how the cities changed with time must visit this museum. All the history is preserved and you can also see the summits of both the cities. Translators are available in Arabic English and Urdu languages

Masha Allah very nice museum, they have made models of the historical events during the time Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. Also there are guides who explains the events in different languages viz., Arabic, English, Urdu.
Jazakallah khairan to our guide Mr Mohammad Madani.
The models of evolution of Kaaba during different eras and Masjid e Nabawi in different eras is done aesthetically. A very nice place to visit to know the history of Madinah Munawwara and important events of Prophet’s life.
Note: They clearly admit that they don’t have any original exhibit of the time of Prophet, they have either models or some cultural artifacts.
Entry fee SR 25 for adults and SR 15 for kids.

Jabal uhud garden or uhud mountain park or uhud park.... Different names, same place.
Trip December 2022.
Went in at about sunset time.... Excellent view, rather a bird's eye veiw of Medina city from top. You can climb to certain height via stairs. In between areas to rest, garden and benches are ample. Open 24 hrs, free entry and in December it was more enjoyable with cool breeze.

It is a beautiful and calm viewpoint of Medinah. The dozens of cats here only make me love it more.
There is no seating here, so bring your own sheet for the ground, and it is also not very clean.

This is such a nice place to have a picnic and spend time with family. There are many places to sit whilst being surrounded by greenery. If you like animals, there are many cats and tons of birds chirping away in the trees. There are also stairs going up the mountain that allow you to get a good look of the blessed city. The iconic minaret lights of Masjid al Nabawi are visible from the mountain.
