Saw the Kim Dracula tour there, and then again in St. louis the next night. The sound was way better in St. Louis. Was a little disappointed in The House of Blues. Nevertheless, Kim Dracula, Jeris Johnson, and Tallah Rocked.

My first time at a spot like this and hands down, I'm coming back!

They have 3 different venues, and each venue is unique. The atmosphere was happening and spectacular; we had such a good time!

They have a good selection of drink and food options and the service was great.

Regardless of who plays or performs, this place breaths, speaks and bounces entertainment and a good time!

They have special springs in their dance floor that allow the party goers to safely party without allowing from the floor to collapse. If you are like me and have never been, you'll soon find out! 😉

A couple tips:

1. Uber or walk as parking is literally not available.

2. Make a reservation for their venues as they get extremely busy.

3. Leave the stress and issue before opening the door and have a blast! 🥳

SABA was delightful, me & my husband came here on Valentine’s Day & we were lit lol but SABA was patient & polite and switched out the hookah that we didn’t like. They also cleaned down the seat of the couple that sat next to us Lysol/bleach which was nice to know since most establishments have gotten lax on that since Covid. Thanks SABA ❤️

Service was so bad I felt like a burden to staff as if they did not want me there. In retrospect I should have taken my business elsewhere. Hookah was trash and the vibe was just so off.

Bonkers, absolutely wild place and really good late night food all in one building.
A quiet Friday night and had some great food in the restaurant then we sneaked upstairs to catch the end encore of a fantastic concert by Badfish-Sublime and they were fabulous! Just wish we’d known about it sooner and caught more of the show…!

Its a ghetto hookah joint so If that's your scene your in good hands, but if your looking for class, professional staff and a clean environment keep it moving.

Way too crowded. Not easy to get around. Sound was good. Great show. Back in the 90s I had a conversation with a girl that worked at the original House of blues and she told me never to go because it was just bad juju. The voodoo stuff was all crazy down there. My friend who I was supposed to go with committed suicide after I got the tickets and when we left the show I saw the guy who passed when he was on the ground getting chest compressions. I actually had a conversation with him about 15 minutes earlier at the bar. Very surreal experience. Of the employees that work there were absolutely fantastic though from the people at the door to the bartenders to security. Everybody was really nice and definitely good at what they do.

Had a nice time watching football at Theory. Lots and lots of TVs. Seemed clean other than the bathrooms.

I don’t know who’s in charge of audio but it was terrible. They audios would overlap each other from different sports. On top of that horrible music selection, no one is choosing to play Work it and Reverse it in 2023. Food and service was good. Horrible atmosphere to watch the fights

0 | probably the absolute worst venue I have ever seen a live show. the front of venue staff was highly disorganized. they were guiding me improperly to figure out how to get ticket upgrades, then when I encountered someone they were starting upgrades for a slightly elevated view @ $225. I paid $150 for the ticket. the upstairs private sections were over $300. it was absolutely overpriced but unfortunately necessary to see the show properly. I went to see Victoria Monet who is amazing, but sadly over half the room had an obstructed view or simply couldn’t see over one another. I have no clue how they packed folks in such a small place, it felt like there was code violation. every five seconds when I was trying to see by standing on a step I was asked to move. servers are blocked in trying to assist people in the $225 VIP section, and the whole room was frustrated by the lack of ability to move around. if you were close, there was absolutely no shuffling through the crowd. I made it up the stairs and immediately was blocked in because people were spilling at the seams on every section of the floor. I’ve been to countless concerts but never encountered this level of poor direction, orchestration, problem-solving, and planning. I will likely never consider a concert at this venue again unless it’s VIP. but if VIP is the cost it was tonight, I would not go, it’s not fair to pay to see a show you paid to attend. VIP is nothing but a guaranteed seat and an average view.

In town for business for the week. After being turned away as a party of 1 from Mother Hubbards rude security, I came here and was very happy I did.

The security was polite, the service was great, I was able to get a table and order food for some Sunday football. The food was great!

All I can say is this place is ran right and it worth checking out for game day. It will also continue to benefit from the bar next door hiring rude security.

Honestly, I thought that the venue was great. While I did not have any of the food at the venue, what I saw people have seemed to be pretty good. The application of the lights was really nice and brought a lot to the show. The sound quality at least next to the stage was really good, though I imagine that the sound quality in the balconies is pretty good.

Worth visiting just to view the decor and design of the building. Has lots of nooks and crannies to explore with seating, lounges and bars on all 4 floors. They serve meals and I suspect music/entertainment is dependent on who is performing. Definitely worth a visit. Great for parties.

This place rocks! Plenty of beers on tap with different happy hour deals each day. TVs covering every inch of the wall and they always have the game on. The food is great too especially the Kill Bill wings. Have had many great times with Sam and the rest of the staff. Best sports bar in the city

Shout out to my boy lou he made sure I was good from when I first got in line until I left the establishment. Prolly some of the best food salmon I tasted in a long time I definitely recommend stopping by💯💯💯

Fatima was our server and she is attentive. Kind and does her job well above standards. She is definitely an asset to this establishment!. Huey was the door man who got it all started, great business mind. Made it easy to feel welcome!

Fatima was the best server you can ask for. Hotter than all the girls and took care of us all night super friendly and made sure we had what we needed all night!!. We had a great time at my friends bachelor party.

Great place and Toni is an amazing person. She really took her time to make sure everything was going smoothly. Very sensual. Almost like a perfect visualization of what lust, desire, hidden truths, and a sinful passion that no one else could touch.

I heard about Theory from a friend. He frequently visits for F1 watch parties. The owner, Joel and his crew, made us feel welcome at every "turn!" Maria was super attentive and Joel made an effort to meet the patrons coming for the race. The Brunch menu offered something for everyone without overwhelming customers. The coffee was ON POINT. Joel serves Hexe Coffee, which is a local roaster. Not many restaurants/bars give much thought to their coffee... clearly not the case with Theory. Nice crowd and great vibe for the race on a Sunday AM! Worth the trip from the burbs.

Took my gf here last week and I gotta say it was very nice indeed. We went to a private room and were treated to a great show by some beautiful, sexy ladies. Yes, we did spend bit, but if you don't have the money to go private, then don't go.

This place is a good vibe. Came here on a whim to watch the NBA playoffs.. Definitely glad we came. Was greeted the right way as though they were very grateful for our service.. Dannie was a great server and drinks were good... Walking distance from hotel was good too as we stayed on Wacker... Definitely a sports bar worthy of checking out.

This voice was pretty reasonable. It was nice. It is small though. That's the only thing but you can tell everyone was having a great time there and everyone else that works there was okay. They will check IDs so you need to be 21. Even if you're just coming in to sit down. Double check your ID. You can bring your own alcohol to no other drink that is non-alcoholic because they serve those themselves I like to vibe so I definitely will be going back.

Wow - my first time at 'Theory' in River North, and I'm very pleased. That was just about the best tomato soup and grilled cheese that I've had. Three types of cheese, tomato and onion, thick, fresh bread... yum! My wife had the Southwest salad and she loved it. The pineapple cider to drink was delicious too! The Cookie Skillet for dessert was enough for four to share - a hot cookie and cold ice cream make for a pretty amazing combination! My wife and I had the kids with us for dinner, and the music was a touch on the loud side but it is a bar, after all. Prices are reasonable, but a touch on the high side for some items. Wonderful service - we all loved our server, and hope to see her again the next time we're in River North!

Lots of flavors to choose from. You can BYOB but closed liquor and no mixers.

There was a cover charge of $10/ person, a wait time of 1.5 hrs, and we had to buy 2 $25 hookahs for 3 people. No space to move around, if needed.

Also they charged us 20 bucks for table which they dint inform us beforehand so i guess that was not good.

Theory was great! Let's start with dessert since it's on my tongue still...the cookie skillet with iced cream!!!!! It's fresh baked in a skillet and served warm. WOW. Save room and an absolute steal at $9 enough to feed definitely two people three as well. The turkey wrap and fries was on point. Delicious and fresh ingredients. Fries were crisp and tasty. Hummus had a unique taste to it that I couldn't quite figure out but I really liked it. The pita was warm and fresh and they brought us several more pieces upon request. Bathrooms clean. The absolute best part was the availability of NFL games both inside and out. The curbside seating was perfect on a gorgeous day with 3 HDTVs and 3 different games on as well as every other game on the NFL ticket on inside. Food was more than reasonably priced as well. Service was impeccable and the managers were very nice greeting and asking how our experience was at Theory.
