the waiter withheld my card until she was satisfied with my tip. Charged me 18 dollars per shot and was extremely rude. Would never come again.
Had a really great time here until the bouncers asked a friend of mine to get some air for a few minutes outside because he was seemingly drunk, I walked out with my friend and realized we should probably leave so I asked the bouncers to go back inside to close my tab and grab my roommates and they wouldn’t allow me inside. Kept telling me to call my friends as if they’d hear a phone call in a club. I was the only female, being completely disregarded by 4 bouncers all at once. Finally the eldest bouncer, with freckles, used his walkie talkie to reach my friends and close my tab after I begged them for 20 minutes to just let me close out. It was clear I was well intended, just helping out a friend and I was completely disregarded and ignored. Bouncer was also physical with my friend, pushed him. These dudes were completely misogynistic, unhelpful, disrespectful, and had no empathy.
Bouncers are unintelligent and arrogant people (don’t even know where it came from) and even told other people, “hey, they snitched on you”. Man, are you saying that if you just are so blind to not see someone puke on the floor, then they will still be let it. What a BAD club! Never going back again.
First time here and I cannot recommend the TGB’s famous chicken fingers enough. I’ve had a lot of chicken fingers but none have a crispy light breading quite like this place. The honey mustard is phenomenal to complement the amazing texture as well. The service was friendly and inviting. We were able to watch all the sports we wanted to as well. I would check this place out for their chicken fingers alone
Why on earth are down nightclub and howl at the moon separate? My friend and I went in through down nightclub and we couldn’t go upstairs without getting a howl at the moon stamp.
Drinks are overpriced and bartenders are extremely rude. Had two blonde bartenders - first one who automatically tipped herself and didn't even hand me the receipt so I could sign for myself. Then another one who was already being rude when serving drinks and talking to us, before we could even sign our receipt, then expected a huge tip. I understand tips are important but that still comes at the discretion of the customer and the service received. It's not required, especially if falsely signing and doing it without the customer's knowledge. Horrible service and just avoid coming here so you can try not to get scammed.
We are in Boston to visit our daughter and decided we'd like to catch some of the March Madness games and grab dinner after a day out. To be honest, the reviews aren't great but they didn't deal with food so we gave The Greatest Bar a go! I will have to say that we had the BEST experience! Our service was wonderful, the food was delicious, and multiple large screens allowed everyone in our party to see the games.
I will say, they took service a step further... we left and were about a solid block and a half down the way and one of the staff chased us down because I left my phone at our table.

Fun time here, connected to howl at the moon (share bathrooms) and same cover lets you into this and howl (usually $10) but you need to enter from outside
I love this place so much because there is a Great family friendly atmosphere and there is things for everyone here a kind man that owns the bar have my family a nice gift no matter how many drinks we spilled while we were here they just care that we are here and that we are here to have a good time this place is definitely a place to come especially if you just want a place to sit down and have a drink or even just watch some sports on the tv. In all it’s just on of the best places to go to down here in Boston I love it here give it a try!!!
$30 cover, plus parking and coat check. Kind of overpriced. And they need a better DJ to give a little more variety in the music instead of playing EDM all night.
Had head about it online through some great folks.on Twitter and wasn't disappointed. Great place to watch sports and congregate with Bruins and Celtics fans. A must visit when heading to Boston!
Icon is the place to go to hang out and have fun the vibe is nice just be aware on weekends they have a cover for entrance I paid $70 for me and my girlfriend. Drinks are mid and very expensive
Well laid out design inside, unique architecture. Great for a large variety of events. Parking nearby is abysmal (lots of broken into vehicles) but ample. Fairly easy to find. Very nice overall.
Really make sure you check your receipts at the bar, got charged for a drink I didn't order. Bartender was super nice abt it when we asked to fix it and it could've been an honest mistake but just check your receipts. $10 cover on Saturdays
This place is straight garbage. $40 cover charge for what? The bouncers are highschool dropouts without any braincells. Threw my travel mouthwash out in my pocket and wouldn't let me bring it in even though clearly labeled? Go anywhere else and spend $40 and you will have a better time. This place is a joke and a disgrace to Boston nightlife. Not to mention on there website it listed the cover price as $30 and then they just decided to charge $40 because they could. 0 stars hope they shut down
Definitely an experience. It’s great to say you’ve been, especially if you’re doing bottle service! The waitresses are super dedicated to making sure you have the time of your life with full service! It is a vibe and the dj does an exceptional job of catering to everyone with his diverse selection of music! Worth the experience if you’re visiting Boston☺️☺️
after experiencing multiple club experiences in the boston area, bijou is honestly the only one that consistently satisfies. sure drinks can be pricey but so are the drinks anywhere in boston these days so for me, it might as well be somewhere i know i’ll have a good time. had rebecca as our bottle girl the last couple of times my friends and i have gone and she’s always pleasant and always adds to the experience, having fun but remaining professional. 10/10 would recommend a night out at bijou if you’re looking to dance and have some fun! :)
Curry goat was great so I went back. The stew peas had zero taste. Had to take it home and add seasoning and smoked sea salt to give it flavor. Not a good sign for a Jamaican restaurant… could’ve been an off night?
Great time at Fascination at Legacy Night Club. Amazingly sexy music with a fun crowd of all stripes. Couldn’t believe how many people showed up on a Monday night!
Thank you to the amazing bouncers and staff at legacy!! I stupidly left my coat un attended and was sure it was stolen to find out the bartender had taken it behind the counter!! The bouncers were so sweet and caring through the whole ordeal. Thank you again I will definitely be back ❤️

Always a good time here. 1st floor was busy sp simply went to the next. Like how they added skeeball and basketball games to play. Went after a Bruins game and got some Buff chicken nachos. They were delicious. Bartenders are ridiculously fast in a good way. Food is priced very fair, especially coming from the Garden where chicken fingers cost $20 feels like a sale.
Inside was alright and the drinks were good, but our bouncer made my friend leave her personal items outside on the street despite us offering to pay for coatcheck. Also, another bouncer for another line, directed us to coat check for the items and the website says so as well, but apparently our bouncer thought having our items get stolen off the street was better??? Losing $70 worth of personal items due to one bouncer having a vendetta or something, was enough to make the entire night not worth it. Also not to mention the night ended early because the fire alarms went off in the club earlier in the evening and everyone left, I don’t think any of us are going to return after having our night ruined and wasted.

The bouncers harass everyone at the door, including women. If you’re a young woman looking to go dancing, just know that the bouncers will scream at you to move rather than guide you to the correct line to be checked in. Additionally, please do not go dancing if you’re in a group of mostly girls. Since the bouncers harass women, the club is mostly men on popular nights and the gender imbalance makes for a foul atmosphere.
With a group of 6 we asked and were not allowed to pull 2 small tables together. Waitress sent us upstairs to 4th floor where there was no atmosphere. Quiet like a library with people eating in silence. Mid-level grabbed stools and tried to group up a bit. Next waitress just rude and unfriendly. Atmosphere downstairs good but upstairs boring. All in all not my favorite place by a long shot.

Best gay club in Boston hands down! The staff here are the best and are always so friendly and it feels like they have the interests of the community at heart. Don’t waste your time at Club Cafe, this is the place to be

Saturday night (12/16) My wife and I got there 11 PM, paid $80 for the Hip-Hop night. But there was no hip-hop as advertised. We bought 2 expensive drinks there and then went to ask questions to the ticket attendant (young man in his 20's). We got despised by him and by the ticketing staff there. We complained to the manager who pretended they were about to solve it but management didn't care. We have to leave our drink on the front desk counter and promised to never go back there.

I am not the clubbing type but when I heard Cascada was coming to Royale I knew I had to go. I've never been to Royale before only to a few other clubs around Boston. I must say I had a really good experience. The club is spacious and the line was very fast when it started moving. There were plenty of bars to visit with little to no wait times. I did not feel like I was shoulder to shoulder with everyone else. Having a big space is definitely awesome. Cascada was amazing as well. I would definitely come back to Royale.
There was a pink Friday 2 Nicki Minaj themed album listening event …. Let me say from the jump they were unorganized! I contacted the clubs IG page under the flyer AND the promoter person whose @ (IG handle) was on the flyer… prior to the event to see about tickets , went on the website the event wasn’t on the calendar and there were no ticket options . NO ONE EVER GOT BACK TO ME ! The event was supposed to be 10pm-2am and I made it there at standard BADDIE timing (kind of earlier than typical actually lol 11:30pm is not late to arrive to the club ITS NOT LIKE NICKI MINAJ HERSELF WAS THERE SMH ), stood in line for a long time , and got to the front … these ppl then said no one else can come in !!! YET were still letting people in that they “knew”, or supposedly “with tickets” (where were these tickets sold because wasn’t on the website and if it was, well the promoter never responded to send a link).
In general this is an old club played our club!!

Being forced to separate from my group for completely unnecessary gendered lines at the door was stupid as füćk. $14 for house drinks filled to the brim with ice was ridiculous. Embarrassing for one of Boston’s “top nightclubs”. Would rather drive 3 hours to NYC than the 1 hour into Boston for this venue. Stayed for Cascada. Cannot imagine an instance where I’d return.
We booked the venue for a formal and they made us wait outside for an hour and would let anyone in until 300 people were in a single file line. The bouncers were power tripping the entire time and let one person in per minute.
The serve was such a B standing in the private area show off her body dancing for my boyfriend. Worst service to get inside, security are trash disrespecting people like we’re getting the entrance free omg like a nightmare.
Yea this is honestly the best nightclub in the city if you’re in your 20s. Classic hits, great vibes, and everyone just has a great time. Mixed drinks are only like $13, they had jello shots for $6, and the cover was only $10! If you a college kid tryna ball on a budget this is the spot fr! Also shoutout to the staff for being extremely chill ✌️
Club opened 45 mins late, then charged $35 cover fee which is absolutely ridiculous. Drinks were overpriced and the DJ sucked played nothing but the same sounding latin music the whole night without ever putting this on their website. They also had the second dance room entirely closed, again this wasn’t mention on the website or reflected in the cover charge 😐🖕. Ratio of guys to girls was at least 4 to 1, and overall the vibes were not there. Would not recommend this club, it is one of the worst I have ever been to.
This is a great place to dance and meet people, I was alone because I was visiting the USA as solo traveler, the guards were really nice, I'm Mexican and they allowed me to enter without any problem (you must to show your passport), this was my first nightclub at Boston and was really cool, $35 USD cover!
Absolutely awful experience. Came to boston for my bday and wanted to go dancing - Bijou was the easiest option. $40 cover charge for an empty club at 10:30pm on a SATURDAY. My husband and I paid $80 total before even getting to the bar and refused to even get drinks based on the cover fee. Everyone who works there seems super uncomfy and awkward for whatever reason. Do NOT recommend!
My husband, a Mexican American, has never felt less than human before, until we finished our night in this bar, you people should be ashamed. The racial slurs used against him will never be forgotten. You are the problem with the northeast. We will never feel comfortable in Boston ever, ever again. I’m happy to provide my personal phone number to discuss further. But you should be mortified to consider yourself a safe place for members of the community. I’m embarrassed to have ever been inside your building.
I love that the venue is small, somewhat casual (not posh or upscale) and more of a rock venue vibe in appearance, and audience can connect better to the DJs. Bijou hosts many international DJs that are lesser known, but good. At the shows I have been to, there has been a balanced and diverse crowd, people, fashion, and ages. I have gone alone many times and have never been harassed. There aren’t many seating areas other than a small VIP area and it can get really crowded.

My biggest complaint is the drinks are terrible!!! The beer choices are also ridiculously bad. Is there even a choice? I think it was Bud and Corona. It doesn’t make sense to me.
There are too many vapers. I am shocked how many there are and that weird smell really get into your clothes and probably your own lungs. Bijou needs to ban vaping in the main area and enforce it. I saw a group of 5 or 6 young women in a ring all vaping in unison like it was “cool”…. Nothing classy about that.
My other slight annoyance is it is difficult to see the DJs if you are close to the front—there is a big wall. I realize it is probably for safety and to be visible from back of room, but some effort could be made by the venue to make it look a bit less rustic.
That said… I still like to go there. I definitely go for the DJs I am familiar with and love, hence, the 4 stars. I think it is a reliable place if you are fine with lower expectations, lesser known DJs and just want to dance.

FIRST time here last night and will be the last. Went for my birthday and was wearing a skirt. When I was leaving some guy “swiped” the long light up foamy thing they were giving out for free, between my legs. Security put their hand around my waist and offered me a drink??? While letting the guy go??? So unprofessional. NOT safe for girls. Just a shame on this place.
People who are complaining about this being a bad club are just whiny. Cover is only ten bucks, coat check four, and it gets relatively crowded after around 10:30 most weekends. DJ has never been bad in my experience - drinks are expensive, but again, it's Boston...you know what you're getting into. Bouncers are fine, just have your ID ready and don't be a PITA.
It was our first time in Boston and we decided to check this bar since it has the better reviews. We were not impressed but it was okay. There were a lot of people with very strange behaviour and style. Totally different from what we have seen in the different part of the world.

Bouncers allowed his friends to trample girls in line this past weekend instead of bringing his friends out from the side. No respect for general safety of potential clients for the establishment. Disappointing as a first time visitor but I guess they have money to spare for a bad review and experience.
I’ve been here for two concerts and have had a great time at both. The venue is small enough that you can see from pretty much anywhere, and the speakers are loud enough to be immersive without being aggressive or painful. I’ve only gotten one drink - a gin and tonic - and didn’t think it was worth the cost.
Edited after night #2... so the first night we went the place was super fun and we all had a great time and felt very safe. The second night though the doorman Michael got inappropriately touchy with one of my drunk friends so I would beware of this place if you're a lesbian and not a gay man. The whole place does seem to cater mainly to gay men...
One of the best venues in Boston to see a show. The interior is beautiful and has an upstairs with couches if you feel like sitting. Plenty of bars. Lots of space to move around.
First gay bar I've been to in about 23 years. Really looking for dinner after a late show. Pretty entertaining bar with really good karaoke singers. Food was pretty good. Burger would have gotten the 5 star if it weren't for the bun. Not a fan of the cold dense bun. Burger was tasty though. My husband got the nachos, which were pretty. Bar tenders were busy but managed to give good service. 👍

Swung by for a night cap, place sucks. More employees then patrons. Terrible poorer beer. Oh they play early 90’s edm toons. Didn’t know they made that music in those years.
The atmosphere is good, people are attractive, drinks are average price for Boston. However, the door fee is outrageous for what their place is/delivers quality wise. A few months ago it was $40. Now it's $50. They keep uping the price, but refuse to add more or renovate things to provide more value to justify the cost. In it's current state, it's absolutely not worth it.
Worst place ever. I wish I could give a rating less than 1, that is how terrible this place is. They took 10usd from me as a bribe because I did not have valid id. I had my Indian DL which is accepted as a valid id in Boston but this Indian dude had some connection with the bouncer and they were scamming people to get money. His brother, "Ravi Bhai" has some pull in the club, so they told me that people who did not have passport were not allowed in and had to pay 15-20usd to get in. Music was also bad. Please go somewhere else.
I was visiting Boston with a friend and were looking for a bar to go to, found this one and went. I think it was kinda expensive but the ambiance was great, especially on the upper floors (music was better) and we had fun … until my drink got spiked with god knows what. I know it’s not the bar’s fault, but maybe they should be aware that it is happening there. They could potentially offer help to the people that seems very intoxicated (I looked like I was just very drunk), like helping them calling a cab or maybe serving drinks with lid and straws? Anyways, if we leave the « spiked drink » part out, it was really fun. Just be careful if you’re a woman and think about going there.
My friend convinced me to queue for this club. He is no longer a friend. Hilariously unnecessary wait outside to get in, bouncer takes himself a bit too serious given the club is the size of an apartment. Slow service and a DJ who switches songs every 30 seconds with some very questionable mixes. Personal highlight was a mix of Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield with a drop for the ages that got the short kings moving. An older review described this place as a load of bollox, which is spot on.
If your more into the hip hop and hype type of club scene then this is the place for you. Always a super fun time coming here. Staff/security is friendly and on top of things. Only negative comments I would have is the bar is usually always jam packed upstairs and sometimes it takes a while to get your drink. I don’t blame the bartenders though this place gets insanely hot and packed. Anyways enjoy a goofy video of my friend doing whatever he’s doing lol.

They have something called international Fridays, and they mention they have Latin music. However, the music was just bad electronic remixes. Not worthy at all
Pretty cool place. I was there for a private party, the food was ok, the drinks were good, but the vibe brought me back to Penn State. You tell me if that's a good thing or not.
Ordered drinks that took a little bit to arrive, and then ordered just tots and fries — 40 mins in and it still did not arrive. We decided to leave. Felt like host either forgot our order, did not put it in, or prioritized other patrons over us.
I went to this bar a few times and every time the 5ft 7in (being generous) bouncer wasn’t nice at all and brought the rating down 5 stars the only thing that brings this bar up is the waitress who is the love of my life. P.s the bouncer had black hair and a shocking arm tattoo.
This “Bar” is durt! Firstly, service is utterly horrifying…..one bouncer in particular verbally abused my parents and I for drinking water with our food instead of alcohol?!(The man in question was approximately 5”7 in height with dark hair and an irregular diagnosis of small-man-syndrome). Secondly, the karaoke is extremely underwhelming as they have no microphone connecting to the speaker system…strictly acoustic vocals. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting hard earned dollars !$!
We arrived on Monday night for karaoke. We were there at 8 but things didn't get rolling until 9:30 or so. Thankfully, we can for a meal as well. The loaded fries were amazing, followed by a Caesar with steak tips. Both were great. The drinks were good but not particularly strong. Service was ok but a little slow. We had a blast with our friends nonetheless.
Great waitress ! All I remember was that she is 18 years old, a very sweet girl, and she is the reason for the service rating of 5 stars. The atmosphere of the place was very cool until all the people arrived for karaoke and dancing the Saturday my friend and I came. Many of the customers who showed up were extremely rude. Yes, I do rate establishments by the people who gravitate to the place. You are the company you keep. My friend is 100% African American ... ONLY the waitress made my friend feel comfortable and welcomed. There were drunk rude men who disrespected people of color. Just we'd walk by the young white drunk men, and they would say something rude each time . Definitely not returning!

This is around the corner from Fenway, they offer good food for a decent price considering the area you're in. Don't look for gourmet meals, this place is about location and atmosphere. The bar is huge and there are plenty of TV's to catch the games. Nice people, bit =h staff and patrons. It's a good stop.
Music and drink selection sucked. Overpriced. $30 per person to get in on a Sunday night. They didn't have hard seltzers or crown royal whiskey.
Drinks are over priced. Paid $9 for a white claw. Certain bartenders and bottle girls are dishonest. If they think you are very drunk they will charge more. Had a bartender charge my card for $70, THREE times which resulted in my bank blocking my account for suspicious activity. The bartender told me the payment was not going through when in reality she just kept on charging until it wouldn’t anymore. Luckily, my bank was very understanding and was able to give me my money back. On a different occasion, I reserved a VIP section with someone named Marcus. I later found out he was charging double the price for a VIP table behind the owners back. I got my money back but later found out he had been doing this for months with many people during Brazilian nights. On top of all this, there have been two separate occasions where the fire alarm will “go off” around 1:20AM but only the lights flash and no actual alarm goes off. FD never shows up and everyone gets kicked out before 2am. When this isn’t the case, they will stop the music around the same time, turn the lights on, and bouncers will start kicking everyone out. They let ladies in for “free” before 11pm but charge men $40 which if you think about it, they are practically paying for all the women getting in for “free” considering cover charges are usually $20 a person anywhere else you go. Doors don’t open until 11ish which you then end up getting barely 2 hours of good music. These people are SLICK and will rip you off at every opportunity.
Had such a fun time with my friends! None of us had done karaoke before and the guy that was controlling the karaoke section was super rude and called my friends and I “gremlins” when we were singing and referred to us as that the rest of the night. Will not be going back for karaoke or drinks due to the rude reception we had received from the staff. Sissy k‘s is much better for karaoke and a good respectful time.

Boston Ravers hosted a sold-out event in the side room at Icon nightclub last Saturday, and we want to give a huge shoutout to the staff members, bartenders, security, and the nightclub itself for their hospitality and for making the event a success. The side room has amazing lights, visuals, and sound, making it the perfect venue for techno and house music events. We would definitely give the side room 5 stars and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a successful event. Boston Ravers will definitely be back hosting more events and we could not have asked for a better venue and experience. Thank you ICON!
This place was okay. Went for the karaoke 🎤 and it was fun. The song book is a free app which makes it easier to sign up for songs. It's a tiny stage but they working with the space they have so I appreciate that. We got appetizers because they were 2 for 1 which was unexpected. What I didn't like was the price for my drink was posted but I was charged more than the posted amount. That caused me to distrust the establishment. Sometimes bars will take advantage of patrons because they assume they are too drunk to notice and that's not right. The manager took care of the drink situation and I had a fun evening. The floors were super sticky and the tables too but the bathroom was clean so I might go back since they are close and do karaoke on Saturdays
This place is riddled with an arrogant and toxic almost clique like group of staff who go and above and beyond to make sure that there is a hierarchy. Specifically the older manager like figures who handle employees , hiring managers and male bosses . Furthermore there is instances of preferential treatment . If you don’t believe me read all the reviews . There’s definitely a theme . Do not work at Venu . Get your extra cash somewhere else . When push comes to shove you won’t be protected or spoken for unless you are one of the bunch .
Excellent service and delicious food! It was out stop in for a drink on the way to the Red Sox game once again and then stopped in for dinner this time since the game was rained out. So glad we did! The Mac & Cheese was so creamy and yummy!!
All of the bouncers are rude and aggressive. Takes an hour plus to even get in. Coming from a former bouncer, they need new training regarding professionalism. If you do not like working with people enjoying their night out and supporting your establishment at the same time, then don’t be a bouncer. Especially Ricardo; RUDE! I now work in Human Resources and I would fire everyone of them. If you had a horrible experience, you are not alone.
Absolute horrible experience, mainly due to the bouncers working outside. Went there on Sunday 4/23/23 to celebrate my birthday - I immediately received a bad reception by the bouncers due to wearing a hat. Not the end of the world, so I took my hat off and began to clip it on my pants. I was told by immediately that that was unacceptable, so then asked if I could bring it in and check it with the coat check…and again with their horrible attitude I was told that couldn’t happen either. I then asked them if I could place it by the door safely and grab it upon leaving. Again with their horrible attitudes, one security guard tells me, “ You can do that, but if someone takes your hat we’re not responsible.”
I replied stating that if their duty is to secure the door, patron safety, and belongings in coat check, that if someone indeed steals my item of clothing under their watch, then it would be their responsibility. They continued expressing their toxic macho mannerisms, and I told them that it’s 10:30 PM in Boston and I had to park a long way away to return my hat, mind you it was also raining ! They said it wasn’t their problem…

I bit the bullet, returned to my car - and in hindsight I should have told the 3 other patrons that came with me that we should relocate to a different place just from the bad taste they left. When I came back, I paid $30 to get in plus $5 for coat check (money wasn’t the issue, I went their to celebrate my birthday at 12AM and just wanted to get in and make the best of it.)

Got there early and bought tix at the door, service and security were very friendly and felt safe and comfortable. Music was fun. The djs I went for came out pretty late, at 12.30am, I expected the set to be a bit longer
Horrible experience. My friend and I ordered a drink each. After enjoying our drinks for a while, a plate of food arrived in front of us that we had not ordered. Not even 10 seconds later, a gentleman arrived behind us and started chatting with us. He was clearly interested in us, be we politely made it clear we were not interested. After receiving our bill, we realized the food we had not ordered was listed on our tab. We questioned the bartender and he immediately insisted food was ordered by my friend. This was a straight lie and he knew it because he refused to make eye contact for the remainder of our stay. Funny enough, the gentleman whom had originally been interested in us came back over and started flirting with us again. I asked him if he had ordered the food for us, and he admitted he had. I called him out on the fact that the bartender said we had ordered the food, and he started acting really weird saying he owned the bar. He went back to his seat, and I called the bartender back over. I explained the guy had admitted to ordering the food on our behalf, and the bartender was immediately angered and said he would pull the video footage of us ordering the food. At this point we were uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. We closed our tab (with the cost of the food included) and left. As we were leaving the guy whom sent the food was watching us leave. The bartender continued to make no further eye contact.
The whole experience was uncomfortable, and deceptive at best. The bartender was the younger of the two, and I regret not bringing the issue up with the older bartender or security. This whole ordeal happened on 4/12/23 around 9:00pm. I hope the younger bartender can be made accountable, the bar was otherwise okay.

First time in a night club in my life and it was the best experience ever. Staff was very nice and helpful of any people that couldn't control themselves. I came twice to the nightclub. Friday night for the discord event and Saturday night for PAX appreciation party hosted by the Royale. Bouncer or security that was standing near the washrooms was very friendly and the females working at the coat check were the best. I would recommend this night club for your events and with great DJs playing great music.
A really friendly, welcoming bar that my Husband and I stumbled upon. Staff were very attentive, and the other customers were friendly and chatty. Good selection of beers on tap, and the prices were reasonable too! A great bar for LGBTQ+ travellers to Boston!
This place is the biggest SCAM in Boston. We were recommended to come and there was a $40 cover charge and the place was EMPTY at midnight. What a joke. The staff here is extremely rude. Watch out for the door guy in the video. He tried pushing us around and we weren’t making any scene & were sober. That’s why I started recording
My friends and I bought tickets for NYE Midnight ranging from $50-90. The ticket "guaranteed admission" but the entire line waiting outside was denied admission with claims that they were "at capacity". The bouncers couldn't care less about looking at our tickets or helping with refunds. They told us to figure out the refunds ourselves, meanwhile Eventbrite doesn't even have customer service so we're all struggling to get refunds now. Your money is better spent elsewhere!
What a great place to visit. We were here last Saturday and we had a very welcoming reception. The staff was fantastic, they offered us a place to sit at the bar, everything was perfect. While sitting at the bar we met some local guys, and a guy from Ireland, everyone was very welcoming, and easy to talk to. We laughed and had great conversations. It was our first time at The Ally Bar, can’t wait to go back.
Awesome place to get some great pub food and drink. Nice selection of beer on tap as well as some excellent cocktails. Today we just got some appetizers and drinks. Joe was our waiter/ bartender and as always he kept us laughing with his friendly and amusing conversation. I got a bourbon rocks with a Blue Moon on tap. My wife loves the Cosmos at The Alley. We got a dessert to share which was very good. There is street parking available after 6 weeknights and all day Sat and Sun. There’s also a garage above the bar and you can get your ticket validated by your bartender or waiter.
December 30th 2019 I was invited to sing at this awesome event called the New year's night celebration for the oncoming New year by the Golden age center in Charlestown which I was a part of and that was set up by my friend Marybeth of Boston City Hall and her daughter Megan manager of the Golden age center and there was over 2,000 people in the room plus the mayor was there the police commissioner was there and I was interviewed there before I went on stage to sing the national anthem and auld Lang syne it was quite a spectacular event and I will never forget it! I got a standing ovation but I tribute that to God for getting through that after that I joined those of the Golden age center sitting around a table and having fun catching everything else they were doing! The police commissioner William Goss gave me a very special badge that they hand out to people who they desire to hand it out to! I was very honored to meet him and receive that from him! And of course see the mayor again Marty Walsh our mayor of today! I was honored to be a part of that!
Fenway Johnnie’s is a restaurant and bar nearest to the ballpark that comes from John Caron of West End Johnnie’s, near The Garden. At his newer (2-years old) Fenway spot, you will find superb and succulent meatballs in a great marinara sauce, and a smoked gouda burger. Substantial entrees include one of the best preparation of salmon I have tasted – highly recommended. They also have the best bar and lounge closest to Fenway Park, with about a zillion TVs.
