Large beach that allows 24hr off lead dog access even throughout the summer. Not overly crowded and all the dogs were friendly and well behaved with responsible owners - ours had the best day paddling in the surf, swimming and digging.
Despite being a ‘dog beach’ was also very clean with no dog mess or poo bags left on the beach.
4 rather than 5 stars as there is no easily accessible food/drink options and the toilets are a bit of a walk away. But in future we will DoorDash/uber for food so not a huge issue.
Definitely recommend for dog owners near by.

Beach and dogs! This is the paradise to be.
If you have a happy furry or even if you don’t but you love them, this beach makes you enjoy both. Happy doggies running around while you have great chats with their owners.

Huge open expanse of sand in front of a very flat section of water. Great for kids and the off-leash dog visitors as well. Very popular with kite surfer wind surfers and the like. Water and shower taps are available at the ramps near the bathers pavillion.
Part of St Kilda beach that often gets overlooked. During low tide you can walk on the sand banks and it is such a a unique experience!
A magical place at sunset.
We were lucky as there were no many people over there. So we managed to find parking easily near the beach.
I would certainly recommend going there, at sun rise or sunset 🌇.

Best dog beach... huge and so much room for pooches. Get down there!
Great beach for a long walk with the dog. I’m sure in summer it will lovely. Alba gives it 5 stars!
