Very nice place to visit the beach! Good parking, nice restrooms and they have a really good area to wash the sand off of yourself and your belongings. There is a really good handicap ramp for those that need it. They also have a staff member right on the beach that you can rent umbrellas and chairs from. You have to do it with cash though. A lifeguard is also on duty right at the entrance! The beach is beautiful white sand with hardly any shells so I went barefoot the whole time! The only downside is that it really isn't that large of a beach. It is right in the middle of two private beaches, so it might get crowded fast. We arrived at 11 and left at 1:30 because it was about 97 degrees. A steady flow of people were arriving and leaving so I didn't see any issue with crowding but it probably does happen. All-in-all it was a very pleasurable experience!
You do not have the ability to put your tent up it was great for tourism because we would go to the ice cream shops in the clothing shops in the outfitters and restaurants there and I'm sure there's much less walk off from the beach doing that. Plus the day I viewed it it was red flag weather
As a transplant to Georgia by way of Pennsylvania, I must say the legends are true! This beach was leagues above those I visited in my youth in New Jersey and Delaware. The water and sand were more lovely than I can properly describe, so 5 stars will have to suffice to relay just how brilliant this beach was.

I would encourage visitors to park at a bike rental location and pedal in for this experience. Parking of vehicles was fierce and frustrating. Save yourself the drama and enjoy the salt air on an electric assisted bicycle.
Extremely crowded Beach access. Limited parking. Very narrow Beach with private beach on either side. The water was beautiful and clear though.
Very small area for beach access to the public now with the private beach laws, and was very busy and crowded as a result. Beach attendant was a little unprofessional yanking up the few remaining rented umbrellas from behind those using them without warning at 4:57pm (time ends at 5:00pm). Sand and water were beautiful. The little town is adorable, and I would stay here over Destin in a heartbeat. If in from out of town try to get a property with direct and private beach if you can.
Perfect beach access. Limited parking, though.
We love Ed Walline Beach Access! Decent amount of parking, compared to other accesses. It has 3 showers I think, and nice bathrooms! Lifeguard presence during season, and the beach is normally pretty deep! I will see it gets pretty busy as expected, but handles the traffic well! Also I love the pic-nic area to escape the sun and eat/relax we needed! We love doing our beach bonfires here!
Beautiful wide beach with white sand. The beach access offers restrooms, picnic pavilion, and showers. We were there in January, and parking was not an issue. However, there were only 40-50 parking spaces, which will not be enough in peak season. The sand on the beach was very nice to walk on. We will be back...
