Lots of parking when I arrived which was early at 10:30 am on a weekday. Plenty of space for everyone. Nice location with great waves

Went for a bike ride - mostly on the bay side. It was fun, trail was nice, view beautiful. On the boardwalk for a short time - lot of people but nice. We will do it again. Grabbed a quick bite at the Catamaran. Very good.
Clean and kept location. Right next to Belmont Park that has rides, games and food/souvenir/merchandise. A great place to lay out around the sand or walk on a paved pathway along side the beach to soak off the sun.

Nice and safe parking even for overnighter with lots of lighting and ample space in between cars. The beach is also clean and groomed.

cool place to walk along the beach. If you want to go in the water the beach has great sand. There is some shops and food on the beach and a lot of people.

**Location**: Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay, Mission Beach is a vibrant community within the city of San Diego, California. Its nearly two miles of oceanfront make it a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.

**Classic Boardwalk Vibes**:
Mission Beach channels the spirit of a classic boardwalk beach town. Here's what you'll find:

1. **Belmont Park**: The heart of Mission Beach, Belmont Park is home to the iconic **Giant Dipper Roller Coaster** (originally built in 1925 and lovingly restored), the **Beach House Grill**, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. It's a nostalgic playground for all ages.

2. **Oceanfront Boardwalk**: Stroll along the lively boardwalk, rent bikes, and soak in the sun. The ocean breeze and the sound of crashing waves create the perfect soundtrack.

3. **20-Something Scene**: Mission Beach attracts the young and the young at heart. Bars dot the area, promising a lively nightlife. But fear not—there's something for families too!

4. **Activities Galore**:
- **Surfing and Boogie Boarding**: Catch a wave or two.
- **Beach Volleyball**: Join a game or watch the pros.
- **Whale Watching**: Keep your eyes peeled for marine visitors.
- **Sport Fishing**: Cast your line off the jetty.
- **Scuba Diving**: Explore underwater wonders.

5. **Mission Bay**: Just a short walk across the main thoroughfare, Mission Bay offers calm waters, grassy parks, playgrounds, and picnic spots. Rent a sailboat, pedal around on a bayside bike, or simply enjoy the serene oasis.

**South Mission Beach**: For a quieter vibe, head south. The beach widens, providing ample space for relaxation and beach volleyball. At South Mission Beach Park, try your luck fishing off the jetty or explore the underwater shipwrecks that create an artificial reef.

**Parking**: Finding street parking can be tricky, so consider taking the bus or biking. There are free Public lots near Belmont Park, Santa Clara Point, and South Mission Beach Park offer better odds.

**Lifeguards, Bathrooms, and Showers**: Rest assured, lifeguard stations and bathrooms are conveniently scattered along the beach.

Five stars for the nostalgia, the salty air, and the endless ocean views. 🏖️🌊🎢
One of the best / cleanest beaches we found in San Diego. Loved it. Great boardwalk further down from where we sat with shops and food too.
San Diego beaches do not disappoint, although they had just experienced pretty nasty freak waves A few days earlier, it was still an amazing walk for one end to the other. You can imagine that it wasn't overly busy, because of the time of year. Beautiful sunsets, amazing sand between the toes, and simply peace walking from end to end.
We had an absolute blast and Donny was a great tour guide! Our group was amazing and the sights on the sunset cruise were immaculate! Definitely doing this again soon! It was a relaxing blast and a must if you’re in San Diego ! Amazing service from the whole team!! Thank you for making an unforgettable anniversary 😄

Ace the tour host was awesome! From the moment we met her on the dock she had great energy! The whole experience was the best with great music and drinks. We went for a Bachelorette party and this finished it off perfectly. Thank you ACE and Tiki Time Bay Tours for the perfect time!!!! Highly recommend this tour!

This was my first time doing a San Diego tour since moving and I’m so glad we picked this one! I wanted a fun option that wouldn’t be too wild and this was the perfect balance. Kaleb was the real mvp. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tour, beautiful views of the area.

Fantastic way to spend a few hours in beautiful San Diego. Don, Jack and Lisa were our hosts and did not disappoint. You can’t beat their drink prices anywhere in SOCAL! Great time!!
Highly recommend! Fun and laughter guaranteed. Our Tiki boat host, Paola, was so friendly and funny! And, of course, the views of the San Diego harbor are just beautiful.

I liked it a lot. Slow tiki boat with alcohol, what can go wrong?! Nothing! I was very happy we didn't ride the 21 and over tour. We were with families and couples just enjoying th3 boat ride and a few drinks. The weather and wind was perfect!
This was the highlight of my San Diego trip. Wife & I did the sunset afternoon tour and it was just fun, relaxing, and everything I’d hoped for. The whole crew were delightful, friendly, and professional. Drinks were good! But the real star was all San Diego’s marina had to offer. Man those sights and that sunset will leave me with a lifetime of memories. A+, book it. You won’t regret it.

The Tiki sight seeing tour was an absolute delight! It was just so much fun. The sights were gorgeous. San Diego at sunset was divine. The music and libations were absolute choice and our tour guide, Ace, was by far the best part. She was so amazing. Her talent for humor, impromptu songs (which were hilarious) and relaying super interesting information about the San Diego bay were OFF THE CHARTS AMAZING, BUT her true gift was the ability to get a group of strangers to not only mingle with each other, but form much a bond that followed us even off the boat when the tour was done. We laughed, we howled, we hugged and a good time was had by all. Ace's message about love being the most powerful force in the universe followed us all off that boat and we'll take it forward with us. I look forward to going back again in the future! This trip is an absolute must!
