Mangaldas Market in Mumbai is renowned for being one of the largest and oldest fabric markets in the city. It is located near Crawford Market and features over 100 shops spread across nine lanes. The market is known for its extensive range of textiles, from unstitched to semi-stitched fabrics, catering to all kinds of budgets—from as low as ₹100 per meter to as high as ₹40,000 for bridal wear. It’s particularly popular among designers and boutique owners who source fabrics in bulk at wholesale prices .

The market offers a wide variety of materials, including cotton, silk, and designer fabrics for sarees, lehengas, salwar suits, and more. It also provides a vibrant collection of modern and trendy textiles like neon-colored fabrics. Mangaldas Market is a bargain hunter’s paradise, and shoppers are encouraged to negotiate prices. The indoor setup, dating back to the British era, makes the shopping experience comfortable even during the hot Mumbai summer.
One of the oldest and largest markets in Mumbai, it offers space for all your shopping needs, including a dedicated area for fancy clothes like kurtas and salwars. It’s a fantastic spot for shopping and provides a great overall experience. Also, it’s easy to reach, and bargaining is a must. Rush can be seen every time too.

The main Mangaldas Market is for buying fabric, almost you can get every fabric around here. Also you can buy ghagras, kurtis, sareees, blouses, shirts, pants and many more stuff. This market opens at 11.00 AM and closes at 7.30PM.

So you can reach to this by any means local trains, bike, busses, car.

Train 🚂 so if you want to go by train, go to the CSMT station, Chattpati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Station. And reaching ther its a 5-7mins walk from there, you can ask the local people around there for Mangaldas Market.
Car 🚗 if you come by car or bike no worries, look for the CSMT railway station, and then ask the local people for mangaldas market, you can park your car in a pay n park closeby. This pay n park is close to the mangaldas market.

So the main market is for buying fabrics as mentioned above. But you can get everything else outside of this market, Crockery, Beauty products, kids clothes, Hats, Caps, Shoes, Sandals, Lightings, Shorts, Trackpants, Stationary, Waterbottles, Jewellery, Jhumkas, Earings, Kadas, Chudis, Embroidery laces, Latkans, Decoration Flowers, Bedsheets, Organiser boxes, Mugs, and many more things. Its quite a big market.

Great place for clothing for both men and women, starting from dress material to readymades. Once you enter the lane, you will get a great deal on anything and everything provided you have great bargaining skills. If you are hungry do try out Mumbai masala sandwich affordably priced at ₹60 for a plain sandwich. There are other joints selling some great fried foods and cutting chai. All in all, a heaven for traditional suits.
For wholesale purchase best palace

The place is good to buy in bulk for your stores. Here you can get ladies clothes in low cost. Quality is not that great, but yet it's a great place to buy ladies clothes in bulk. Usually it is very crowded. It has narrow gullies to walk and mostly occupied by store owners.

Ghas bazar is known for womens clothes market. Market is quite big. Situated at near bandra station East side. Walkiinng 5 minute. It's wholesale Market. Quality of clothes are not that good but if someone want to buy in bulk and cheap can go shopping. Small girl's clothes available. Just FYI Kurtis and Top Price starts from Rs. 100 to Rs. 200. Most of shopkeeper are not interested for bargaining.
