We arrived with our four kids at 1:17 for a family tour starting at 1:15.
They could not be less useful: Cannot provide the location where we could directly meet the group, cannot call the driver, cannot offer reimbursement.
Such a shame half a day is ruined out of a 36 hours stay in Al Ula.
They don't seem ready to welcome tourists.

An elegant and very well organized visitors center. This center welcomes tourists wanting to go on tours.
A great meeting place in Al Ula.
Winter Park visitor center is the meeting point for the tour visitors going to Hegra and Dadan & Jabal Ikmah. There are two bus stops for Dadan and Hegra trips. You need to purchase the tickets in advance truth experience alula app. As the summer is off season, so there are not many visitors here. I booked for both tours, hegra and dadan but hegra tour was much better and worth visiting as it takes us through the Nabateens history and civilization. Dadan tour was ok but we get to see the carvings or rectangular graves carved in the mountain only through binoculars from the distance.

For helping my group through the Old Town tour and for securing their safety. They only allow 12 people per tour but they all worked together to bring 17 of my group members into there with complete safety and security. They are amazing rangers with beautiful personalities and really hardworking. They are really the future of Al Ula and Saudi Arabia.

once you arrive to the information desk, ladies receive you warmly and welcome you with warmth greetings, dates and Saudi coffee. Excellent spoken English. All reservations to the sites are digitalised with location links. For other open public areas they help you out to organize your complete itinerary and then send it to your WhatsApp or email in pdf format. They simpky make you life easy and organised. Meeting place for Alula trip. Enough parking space and good restrooms. Staff is cooperative and tour guides are great.

Al ula old down
Very nice gathering place with young energetic well English speaking guides ( we had Besna as guide ) our old town tour started from here and was worth the time and money . The climb on the 2500 year old fortress grants you a nice panoramic view over the old town and vast oasis .
Booked a guided tour to see the old town. Al Ula Old town is amazing. The guide explained a lot about the history and she gave us a lot of information about this historical place. You won't believe that it was still inhabited until the 80s. A lot of houses are still being renovated so I guess there's a lot more to come.
Visitors centre, all busses start from this place. Not crowded. Also a good place to spend time, with surrounding mountains. Limited car parking available. Less food stalls. Nothing difficult to found Hegra tour bus. Cooperative staff.
