Great place to hold weddings or Memorial services

This place is a dream within a dream. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding here and I will say without a doubt it is one of the most memorable moments of my entire career so far. The location and layout of the venue is so stunning, varying views of oceanscape and vegetation, vineyards. It feels immersive and will leave an indelible impression on everything you knew about a romantic southern California wedding. The staff, vendors, facility, green space, and property are all absolutely top tier fantastic.

01-31-2024. Weather was nice. Couldn't use my Senior card, 'cause our tee time was like 07:04 am. Back of Senior card states this. It does? From 07:00 am to 09:00 am ? The course was in decent shape. Rough was a little overgrown.

I created a live wedding painting at the Catalina View Gardens. The background setting made for a perfect California live wedding painting. Nice venue for a wedding. I highly recommend it.

The most stunning venue ever!
After touring a handful of wedding venues in the LA/south bay area, the second my husband and I stepped on the property at CVG we knew this was the one. You simply cannot beat those sweeping ocean and vineyard views and we loved how intimate and private the venue felt. Jennifer and Marcella were so incredibly sweet and helpful throughout the entire process, too. Such a dream to have our wedding here!

It's a beautiful golf course but it is not easy to find the tee time. Be patient. Totally worth it.

This is my home course so I know the course and people well. The friendly staff and great views truly make this place a great course to play. It's a challenging course with sloped fairways and undulating greens but fun to play! Shout out to Evan and Chad for always taking care of us in the pro shop. Be sure to get their spicy hot dog and s cold beer at the turn. It always hits home!

It was my first time playing here. The back 9 has some really nice views. I'd definitely come back to play again.

The clubhouse serves a mean burger too and is reasonably priced. A pretty decent full bar here too!

This is a great public course with 180 degree views of the pacific ocean. Since covid they split the tee off times by 10 minutes and only allow foursomes. The weather is always a balmy 72 degrees so be prepared. The two story range is nice but fills up in the afternoon.

It was nice golf course with great scenic view.
But you can see ocean view at few courses not every hole.

There were no hazzard so do not worry about lost your ball.

They sell various kind of food at the restraunt and great 2 stage range ball facility.

You can book a tee time 9 day in advance, it is very popular golf course so you have to make a booking immediately when it is opened.

Not sure what all the hype is on this course. Nothing was greens, except the tee boxes and greens. Fairways and rough were terrible. Only a few holes had good views of the ocean. Lots of dirt and dead grass. This could be a top notch course if they could get the grass green and plant more seed. They layout is the only good thing about this course.

The place is gorgeous. Would be great for a wedding.

If you're a bride looking to get married at Los Verdes we 100% say go for it. As wedding photographers who have worked here we can honestly say the whole day is an absolute dream from start to finish. Not only does the venue have beautiful, well manicured grounds, but it's incredibly functional and convenient for everyone involved with your wedding.

Some of our favorite features of this venue are their unique ceremony site and newly renovated reception space. The club closes off the nearest fairway to allow couples to get married directly on the grass with a spectacular view of the sunset off the coast. On top of that, their newly renovated reception space is clean, bright and functional. Everything at this venue runs like clockwork!

The staff, location, and grounds make this one of our favorite venues to photograph at and we can't wait to shoot here again!

The most beautiful venue to have a wedding or private event... the view is absolutely breath taking. There is a vineyard with grapes, chardonnay and pinot noir on the property and the owner is pleasant and willing to sell you a keepsake bottle. The venue itself is accommodating with large clean bathrooms and a kitchen... a nice fire place for picture ops. So many beautiful scenes in the area...

Our son was married here in 2012, and it was a wonderful experience all around. The property is beautiful, the view rivals any on the planet, and the infrastructure that Jim York has put together works very well for a wedding. We had 130 guests, but the venue can easily accomodate more than that. Jim was a pleasure to work with, always very responsive to our questions and requests, and was genuinely interested in making sure we had a good experience. It is all outdoors, so the weather will be a factor. We had sunshine through the ceremony, followed by fog (in April). We set up a clear round tent for the dancing and dessert portion of the evening, so we were well protected from the cool and fog of the night time.
