After looking at several venues we decided to tour Kaladjian banquet hall. Hovig and Ashot were able to give us an excellent tour and we finally decided to have our wedding here. I can say it was one of the best decisions and best experiences. The food was phenomenal and the staff was fantastic. The dance floor, stage, and dining room chairs were top of the line and very elegant. The staff was professional and were dedicated to making our wedding amazing!

I recently attended my brother-in-law's wedding at Kalaydjian Banquet Hall and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff, led by the exceptional manager, Ashot, greeted us warmly, making us feel right at home. The accommodations were top-notch, with ample space for guests and convenient facilities. The food was simply delicious, with a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. The greatest and best place in the entire planet management per Ashot is the best. Food is one of a kind service outstanding. Had a wedding and it was amazing. My wife was happy so am I.

Parking guys are aggressive, and rude. They demand $15 and expect you to tip them another $5, saying no change. Private weddings will have banquet hall's photographers who will take your pictures without informing you that you have to pay for those.
Don't host an event here, the parking was pre-paid and guests were still charged $15. Personal photographers were hired and they had their own photographers going around harassing guests to take photos and buy them. The food is subpar and they are very wasteful.
The service was top-notch, the hosts were incredibly gracious, and the venue itself was stunning. The staff were excellent, making sure every detail was perfect for our event. Ashot is the main man! I can't recommend this place enough for any special occasion. 5 stars all the way!

Beautiful venue. I believe the wedding had 32 tables with about 12 people at each. It was spacious and didn't feel crowded. The food was good and the staff were attentive. It was beautifully decorated. But I'm not sure if that was the venue or the wedding party that decorated.
Our flight got cancelled they were able to get us a room. When my AC didn’t work they sent someone up right away and got it fixed. The restaurants were amazing and drinks were great!! The two swimming pools were great. The second pool is hidden but worth it! Find it!
This hotel is average, at best. Very close to the airport- which is the only reason 2 stars were given. I should start by saying, my husband is a Titanium Elite, Marriott member. We’ve (and especially him) have stayed at A LOT of Marriott properties! The lobby is beautiful- that must be where they spent all of their money in upgrades, because the rooms are dated! The service at the outside bar area is terrible. The staff is super friendly and acknowledge you quickly to drop menus, but then we sat there for 25 mins when we had already told the bartender we were ready to order and he just never came back over to take it! I’m sure this is a great bar, if you have a few hours to kill, aren’t hungry and like being left alone. There was no Wi-Fi, on a Friday (a work day) and when I called down to the front desk I was told that that just happens a lot, sorry! We were on our way downstairs to leave for dinner one of the nights and a hotel staff member with a group of people loudly charges in the elevator before letting us off, so everyone exiting has to squeeze by her group! Terrible service but also horrible MANNERS!! Hotel housekeeping is severely underpaid, because they are the only team who has any sense of urgency in that place -quick to bring up extra towels, the room was spotless/clean! So, if you seek convenience (location) and want a clean place to stay, don’t need Wi-if to work, plan to eat out for meals, and like taking the stairs- this place is for you!! Otherwise, there are much cheaper options in the area!!

Beautiful gardens and grounds. Sad to hear that they are demolishing some of the grounds and putting something else in It’s place. There is a lot of history at this location from the countless movies and tv shows that have been filmed here. The La Kings Ice at Pickwick is still staying and they have tons of offerings! Extremely excited to keep skating here.
Hotel is across street from airport but has no aircraft noise. Shuttle to and from airport is very convenient. Rooms are large and comfortable. AC unit has excellent temp control and is quiet. Bar/restaurant is comfortable and relaxed. Very easy to get Uber and get around LA. Meeting facilities were excellent.
Easy 10 minute walk (they have a shuttle) from BUR terminal lands you in this less than standard Marriott. Twin beds, squeaky, moldy A/C units that are hit or miss when they work is what you’ll find.

Mostly clean, strange staff who are nice when they feel like it is what kind of service to expect. Guy at the bar threw my check at me for my drink costing $15. Basically this is a great place to get some quick sleep before a trip, that’s all. Internet this visit was very fast, an upgrade from most.
I went to an event here the parking set up was bad only the main entrance was open so there was a long line to get in making a left into the lot forget it I made a u-turn and came to the right didn't realize there was going to be a $20 charge for parking
Hi everyone! I just want to give huge thank you to Erik and his team. They are truly the best. I have been doing multiple events of mine and my families with them for years now. The food is amazing, you will not be disappointed. The workers at this restaurant are always helpful when we need help to set up before our event begins. I have never been to a restaurant in LA that is so welcoming and friendly with their customers. I 10/10 recommend all of you to come and spend your special events here. You will not be disappointed.❤️❤️again I want to say thank you to all of the staff who make sure everything is perfect for my guests!!

Hotel room was comfortable, the staff were respectful and friendly, however there were unacceptable mistakes made as a result of front desk staff literally not following our repeated wishes/instructions regarding credit cards that ended up being costly to me. We had 2 cards on the room, one was a Canadian card and the other was a US card. We repeatedly told them to charge the US card but the Canadian card got charged instead even after we made sure to tell front desk multiple times to charge the US credit card and we were assured each time that they would. When we called they wouldn’t reverse the entire amount (as foreign cards come with an additional transaction fee plus exchange rate) despite this situation being the hotels mistake. This is absolutely unacceptable, and extremely frustrating as I am literally bearing the cost of their mistake.
Not to mention the check in process was the opposite of smooth. Definitely would recommend not to stay here. Would rate negative stars if it was an option.
A good midsize convention venue. I was here for many different types of conventions. Parking price is reasonable. Some people try to park across the street to save few dollars, but that's a gamble I never take because I have seen cars being towed. Across from the venue there are some eating options like McDonald's, Del Taco, The Burger Den, Starbucks, Panda Express, Denny's, Fish Dish, Greek Cuisine, and Sansai Grill. There's no need to spend money in the restaurant inside of the hotel. As for the hotel/convention center, is maintained clean. Having cold water through out the convention center is a big plus for me. I am giving 4 stars because I have to yet be in a convention that completely blews me away with sheer content on what to do instead of being a glorified dealer's hall with minor programming added here and there.
Great hall, food is good. Too much of it. Some is great and some is OK. I didn't know when they will stop bringing out the food. So last batch, salmon, looked good but no one touched it because we were full. So it went to waste. I wish they have some kind of a menu of the food that will be served. This way people know what to expect.

I came here recently to Japan world heroes, a.k.a. the Godzilla convention and it was pretty amazing. It was my first time coming here to that event I’ve been to Japan world heroes before in 2019 and I’m a Godzilla fan everybody was so friendly and so nice and they were very kind sing with the celebrities they were really nice and friendly. I will definitely come back here again if they do the Godzilla convention or other events related to stuff I’m interested in either way. It was really nice to come here.

Travelers warned. It may happen to you as well.

Had the most negative experience among all the hotel stay experiences so far (more than 100 stays with many hotel chains). Marriott Gold elite member, but booked through chase ultimate reward program with loyalty number. Reservation confirmed and everything normal until we were told that Hotel was overbooked when we arrived around 9pm. Offered to change to hotel in their chain for free at a different airport LAX and full refund, 30-60min drive away depending on time of travel and traffic.

Unfortunately we were heading towards opposite direction 2nd day early morning, so we asked for a replacement hotel in the neighborhood and OK to be cheaper and lower rating. Hotel staff lied saying no single hotel available, but we can find plenty of hotels available and much cheaper but in different hotel chain. After 30min discussion realizing they just kept saying the same script over and over without really trying to understand and help, we left and booked a much cheaper Hilton hotel ourselves. After we got home, I followed up twice with Marriott customer service, got response that Chase ultimate rewards booking voided my benefits as elite member and delegated this refund and reimbursement request to the hotel, then no response or status update for more than a week.

Now two weeks after the incident, no refund or reimbursement for inconvenience, no hotel initiated communication. I am very disappointed and will move my future hotel stays to Hyatt, Hilton and others where members are treated better.

Incidents do happen, but how you handle the incidents and treat people tells a lot about corporate culture, service and training.
Marriott M Club vs. Concierge Lounge

The Concierge Lounge at Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport (486 guestrooms within two towers) is open 24 hours per day. The big & clean lobby is impressive. It is only 16 miles away from the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

It offers daily full breakfast and Happy Hours with Hot Food Sunday through Thursday and Light Refreshments (See a photo for reference) on Friday and Saturday only.

I really like this Concierge Lounge with a true relaxation environment over other M Clubs that often are too crowded like in LAX.

Been coming here for twenty eight years. As of August fifteen 2023 they are tearing down the building and building condos. These pictures are the last pictures you'll see from pickwick with people bowling. This is a very sad time going to miss this fun place.
We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel is very good. Check-in was easy. We felt room was a bit small, and there was no hand soap provided in the bathroom for which I had to call twice, and finally, they gave the soap bar (which was strange considering it is a 4 star hotel and they should have liquid soap dispenser near the bathroom sink). Restaurant downstairs was fancy.

The William Shatner in our conference room didn't sing, but was very knowledgeable about Ozzie Meth-heads with Opals in the Outback. Would recommend visiting once the plexiglass is down.

My husband and I did our wedding at Arbat in January and we loved just how amazing the venue management and staff were at helping us every step of the way. Since both of our parents had gotten married at Arbat, it seemed like a natural next step for us to do our reception there too. From always answering our questions without hesitation to opening the hall for us to practice our dances, Hovik and management, helped us plan, visualize, and create the most magical wedding. With three tiers, a stage and a dance floor, there was plenty of room for all of our guests to enjoy. Our guests have been raving about the service and quality of the food ever since. The catering is top notch and Nvart and the kitchen team made sure everything tasted and looked delicious. Thank you Arbat for making my wedding such a memorable one.

the only good thing about this place is valet and lattes. the spa front desk is rude and sucks. the main restaurant moves slower than 70,000 year old turtle.

One of the best venues in Glendale, it highly recommended for big wedding up to 400 food is amazing, a lot of variety of appetizers and and main dishes include all meet (beef- chicken-pork- lamp )
Also the bar is full of all drinks you wildlife like, owner is friendly

Came here for CTN and was impressed with the atmosphere and professionalism in comparison to the setup at Lightbox in Pasadena.
Nice hotel, well-run with friendly and interested staff who are always ready to help, quick to notice if a guest needs help and just as quick to provide it. Fairly typical of a good business convention location. Room was well appointed, spotless, and pleasant to stay in.
Where do I even begin?! Talk about accommodation. Everyone here was so great and their primary goal was to make sure we were happy with everything.
The food was delicious which was such a relief because banquet hall food can be tricky but our guests LOVED IT. The service was top tier, so thoughtful, nothing went unnoticed by the staff here.
The tables were so pretty and the space was so comfortable, we were able to accommodate a large wedding and everyone felt so at ease, the dance floor was perfect!!
Ashot worked with us day after day to make sure we were happy with every last detail and I cant thank him enough . Hovik was fantastic, great demeanor a true expert at his craft!
Truly it was a dream working with them two and having the opportunity to enjoy our wedding at this beautiful establishment. When your venue and vendors are an absolute breeze to work with your wedding day is just that much more magical!

Absolutely Beautiful, great Food, Great Service, great atmosphere and plenty of parking.
We had our wedding reception here two days ago and WOW! From the planning process to the day of, everything was amazing.

The venue is beautiful, elegant, and extravagant even without any decor. They have very classy gold tables and chairs that will instantly elevate your event. They also have a video wall and a light show available for use during dancing for the reception.

We had cocktail hour in the grand foyer and it was absolutely gorgeous. They even put out tables and chairs near the fountain in the courtyard for an outdoor space for both cocktail and reception. Not to mention, red carpet for all guests to feel like royalty walking into the hall.

The food is absolutely amazing. ALL of my guests have been talking about it for days. The quality is unmatched and the quantity is insane. Food just kept coming out and everything was so exquisite. Johnny, the manager, has revamped the menu and really upgraded each dish to perfection.

Johnny and Ashot, the managers, made sure we were satisfied with everything from start to finish. They put so much time and effort to make sure our day was spectacular. Any requests we had, they made it happen. It’s very rare to find genuinely nice people who care about your event and needs rather than just caring about money.

I would 1000% recommend this venue to everyone for any event— wedding, birthday, engagement, they can do it all.

A huge thank you to Johnny and Ash and everyone behind the scenes (cooks, waiters, etc). Our wedding was a fairytale and we couldn’t have done it without you.

My amazing friend since High School had his wedding reception here and this place is absolutely beautiful inside. You could never tell how wonderful this place is when you see if from the outside because it blends in with the other building around Burbank. But once you walk inside the banquet hall, you'll be amazed with the layout they have. Valet parking here is 15 and it's cash only so FYI. The valet driver burnt some rubber when he got into my car to park so I wasn't happy about that. This was an Armenian wedding and my first one but it was an amazing experience. The lighting in here is wonderful and the chandelier is very beautiful. They have a projector in here if you purchase the package I believe and they allow fog machine as we. I'm not sure about sparklers because my friend didn't have that. The Mediterranean food was amazing and the service staff working last night were wonderful. The reception open the banquet door at 7pm and we left at 2:30am to give you an estimate on how long you can stay there. The valet people and staff also stayed here until that time as well.
Friendly and welcoming staff. They give it their best shot, and there is plenty room for dancing. The setting is lovely, the lighting is fantastic, and we occasionally get to show off our photo booth while serving our clients who host their events here!

It can be a little difficult to park. If the parking lots are full, work with your event planners to arrange this so that guests won't be confused and have to find alternative parking.

Attended a lovely retirement Dinner here last night . Beautiful venue, food was great, nice dance floor, good size stage. Lovely chandeliers and other decor. Great place to hold wedding reception, anniversary party or other events . Parking is limited though.

My husband and I held our wedding at Calamigos Equestrian (now Calamigos Los Angeles) in August of 2021. We heard about the venue through friends who held their wedding there several years prior. The venue has several options of ceremony locations and reception rooms, each with varying occupancies which was appealing as we hadn’t considered what our guest count would look like at that point. All the ceremony and reception options are lovely as are the surrounding grounds, but the Equestrian Ballroom really spoke to the hubs and I. The staff was very friendly and helpful in showing and explaining the options of locations available, going over their food, drinks, and available package options. I loved the fact they offered all the general basic necessities as part of their packages (tables, chairs, silverware, linens, glasses etc.) in addition to food and drinks, which meant less work and coordination on my part. They also allow additions to their packages so we had more flexibility in being able to have specific menus items available in addition to what was included in our selected package. We enjoyed doing the food tasting ahead of time and creating our guests menu, and all of our guests raved about how good the food was at our reception as well as how great and friendly the staff were.

With Our original date having been scheduled for April 3, 2020. we had to postpone and reschedule due to the pandemic, a total of 4 times. As such, I worked with the Calamigos team much longer than what is probably typical, and through the 2 years of initial planning, rescheduling, pandemic uncertainty, and the finalization process for the long awaiting wedding date, the team was a pleasure to with with. Kat, Mike, Emily and team were so helpful and kind from start to finish from answering a million of my questions in the initial planning phase, through a million questions in the final stages since it had been such a long time coming thanks to the pandemic! I would recommend this location for your wedding or any big event you are planning to hold as we had a wonderful experience from start to finish and would do it all over again just the same!!

First a good impression and cooperative staff. Everything is clean and elegant. Shortly before the party took place there was all of a sudden a change of goalposts, like very high spike in pricing, apparently because of a new manager, however. Make sure to have written contract with all details clearly defined. In the end we were able to clear all with the owner and almost everything went ok. Unfortunately, main course was served quite late so that some guests complained, make sure that you clearly set the times, too. Lots of food was left over as a result in our case. Some space for improving but all in all a nice location for a reasonable price and quite tasty food.

After over a year of postponing due to Covid, we finally had our wedding at Calamigos in August 2021 and it was everything we hoped for and more. Kat is absolutely amazing! She was the first person we met when we toured the venue so long ago. She was with us through all of the postponements and changes and was there to make sure everything went off without a hitch on our wedding day. Kat & the Calamigos staff are friendly, professional, helpful, and quick to respond to whatever you need. They made the wedding planning process easy and were willing to work with special requests and changes. Everything on our wedding day was perfect and we didn't have to worry about a thing thanks to their hard work. Our guests raved about the food and said it was one of the prettiest venues they had ever been to. Thanks Calamigos for making our wedding wishes come true!

As a wedding planner, I can say with 100% confidence that this venue is amazing! Great pricing, helpful staff and beautiful outdoor and indoor space. The venue comes with everything from tables chairs dance floor linen and food/bar service. it's not easy to find a gem like this within the LA area- it's conveniently located and offers free easy parking for everyone (huge plus).
I look forward to bringing more clients here for future events and weddings.
And no, it doesn't smell like horse poop.

Worked with Kat and the team at Calamigos LA for the first time last weekend and everything was such a breeze! The staff is amazing and they try and help anyway they can. Their service is also super quick and efficient. Serving 16 tables in the time allotted in the schedule was easy peasy.

I really love the rustic indoor and outdoor spaces Calamigos LA offers. This particular wedding day was super hot, but the AC was blasting and they offered a cute & spacious bridal suite cottage for the wedding party to cool down.

The polo room has a huge well lit and well stocked bar as well as plenty of barrel tables & white countertops for displaying photos, party favors, escort cards, etc. Also had plenty of patio space for cocktail hour and lawn games that the bride & groom provided.

Overall, such an easy & beautiful wedding day. Can't wait to work here again!

Though it has been 6 months since our wedding, we are finally settling down enough to thank everyone for their amazing help during our BIG day. Calamigos Equestrian was a dream venue from start to finish. Over a year ago we began exploring various venues with the hope of choosing the absolute right one. It wasn’t until our visit to Calamigos Equestrian that we absolutely fell in love. From the scenery to the decor to the amazing management team and staff, we couldn’t have been happier. Personally, we had the assistance of Kathy throughout most of our experience. She was beyond organized, personable, and made sure that every aspect of our wedding was perfect. Having everything included made our planning so much easier. They worked seamlessly with our vendors and were very flexible when things sometimes went off track (on our end). At the end of the day, even 6 months later, we still receive compliments on how amazing everything was. The food is spectacular, the staff during our wedding night were speedy and kind, and the whole clean-up process went smoothly. If you are looking for the right venue, or have any second thoughts about this one…DON’T! I promise, you will not regret this decision. In fact, you will be more than happy for years to come from the memories that you will create at this beautiful place.

If Disneyland had an adult pirates of the Caribbean ... this would be it. I'm not a huge rum fan, but it was worth coming here just to check out the hype. A 3-story pirate ship hidden behind an unassuming metal industrial door. you like rum? this is the place!
TFCon there was a blast! The grounds and interior are simply beautiful. Classy, clean and great space for any convention/large gathering need! Very well appointed banquet rooms and very personable on-site staff. Parking is easy and plentiful but not sure about cost on a regular basis as this was a special event and parking was $$$$! Overall, if you need a large location with a high-end atmosphere, I would absolutely book here.

A place that doesn’t care about customer service or people. The moment you forget your personal things, they will never return it. Somehow just disappeared.
Forgot a bag with some expensive pants and a belt, and the manager was keep saying that nobody see anything. This means someone from the workers just still it and the management is on with it, shame!

We were invited for a family gathering. We had a full table of 10. The atmosphere was very nice, very well decorated contemporary banquet Hall. Perfect location in the heart of downtown Burbank.
But when it comes to food it was completely diffrent story. The food did not match up to basic standards. To be honest I was very disappointed with the quality and taste of the food. It was no where close to how each food had to taste.
Not overly expensive, nice bar to have some drinks, and usually some lanes will be open. If you get hungry, theres a snack bar, which offers food, drinks, and snacks. For the kids, there’s games and pool.

I highly suggest visiting this local bowling alley!! There’s lots of lanes, nice bar, and things to keep the kids busy. Check it out

By far the best customer service!! After being treated like trash at Holiday Inn Media Center, the employees at Pickwick gardens were respectful, amazing, nice, caring and by far professional! They showed us the whole facility and their banquet rooms. Each with different style and the view to the court yard was amazing! The prices were very reasonable and worth every penny and more. The catering food was delicious and well made! A big Thank you to the chef. They day of our event the staff was A+++++. The Bartender Sandra was very professional and made everyone feel welcomed as we ordered drinks. The person in charge of staff was very helpful and was able to accommodate us throughout the party. The two servers were amazing! They were so nice and attentive. I would highly recommend to make an appointment before going any where else. If you have received any other quotes from other places, please take a chance on Pickwick Gardens! Ask for Diana, she is an amazing sale Rep.

Recently did one of our events at this venue and we were very pleased. Great customer service and the food was very delicious. I will definitely book this restaurant for my future events.

We toured the location to host our Wailers Ski Club Holiday party. Great garden. They work with you in what you are looking to do. Call Kristin she is really helpful. Prices are really reasonable . The rooms were booked so we could not go in. But the diagrams are perfect.

Terrible customer service over the phone just to gather info on the venue. The guy didn't even know or ask the date of my event or any detailed information, and he told me I can only have my party on a Sunday. I will never recommend this place simply because the phone call was absolutely abysmal.
Great Banquet Hall in downtown Burbank. All new lightings and decorations. Large, smooth and nice shape dance floor was very inviting. Tables set very nicely surrounding the dance floor. Waiters are great special shout-out to Mr. Armen who took care of our table very kindly.
Food, and drink appetizers and main courses all great and fresh fruits, tea and coffee was delicious too! DJ was awesome. Tables and chairs very comfy, although we spent most of the time in the dance floor :) great night, great Banquet, great experience!

I was the DJ at this venue for a wedding last weekend. Really nice hall. Parking is easy, and the food is pretty good. The staff is friendly as well.

I have performed here as a DJ many times now. The staff is super friendly, the managers (Harout, Albert, William) are really great guys to work with and very thorough. They're on top of it. The food is always delicious. That's not to mention that the hall looks great too. It's been updated recently.

Great place to have meetings. The price is fair, better other places in town. It's for weddings, bowling, fun on the ice. A good place for kids of all ages.

Did a food tasting... their catering has absolutely fabulous meals! The steak was tender and flavorful, the chicken was really moist with great sauces, and every side and appetizer was well made. And the desserts... yum

Had my son's wedding here in Feb. and let me say the venue is lovely. As for the service, the food was COLD not warm, cold! Prime rib cold is not ok. The salmon was also cold. The response from the manager was, "your guests were not in their seats when the food came" Well my guests were definitely sitting as they had finished their salads and were waiting for their dinners which ultimately took approximately 20 minutes to be served. 2 guests were not served at all until another guest went to the kitchen and told the wait staff. There was a tip jar on the bar which was embarrassing as it was a hosted bar. The most disappointing thing was the manager's complete denial that any of this happened. The brides mother and I went in the following week, we had already paid in full and had nothing to gain by giving her this feedback, yet she was rude and defensive. I could never recommend this venue.
Quite an elegant place. I went here for a quinceañera and I must say it was the best one that I have ever been too. The food was exquisite - family style Mediterranean. The food just kept on coming. Service was great too. Downside - parking $7 for valet. Street parking is hard to find.
