Some of the bartenders were not experienced, but they were nice. Parking (even as wedding guest) was $20. It was pretty cold in the tent except in the areas with the heaters and during the dance time.

Don and Kat are an amazing duo. They are funny, professional and fantastic at what they do - which is making your elopement a day to remember. Don is communicative, knowledgable, flexible and our elopement had humor and heart. Kat is an amazing photographer and very patient. We had our dog interrupting the ceremony and photos, and she was incredible at capturing all the special moments and recommendations. We loved our elopement and highly recommend Don & Kat!

Don & Kat were great! We wanted a stress free, low-key wedding and they made it that way! The location on 2nd Beach in Newport was beautiful and our pictures came out amazing!

I had my wedding at Regatta Place on 9/28/23. It was the most perfect day at the most perfect venue. Regatta Place is an absolutely gorgeous waterfront setting to have a wedding and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you and your husband or wife to be have the most amazing day. Even throughout the entire planning process the staff was helpful and responsive. Whenever I would have questions or ideas all I would have to do is send a quick email and within a day I would receive a response. I feel as though I had a nearly stress free wedding planning experience and that was largely in part due to all the help and advice I received from the staff at Regatta Place.

As for the actual wedding day my husband and I were assigned a personal severe to attend to our drink and food needs. I found this to be a huge perk. I have heard from so many friends who got married before I did that the bride and groom ever get to eat at their wedding because they are always too busy going around to guests and thanking them for coming. While my husband and I were very busy thanking our guests our server made sure we always had a drink or hors d’oeuvre in hand which was fabulous. Not to mention immediately after the ceremony our personal server was waiting for us at the end of isle with our drink of choice. I don’t remember our personal servers name but she was so sweet and beyond attentive.

Not only were we well cared for as the bride and groom but our guests were well cared for as well. It’s been three months since our wedding and friends and family still tell me how much fun they had and how much they loved Regatta Place.

I highly recommend this venue for brides and grooms to be. If I could go back in time I wouldn’t change a single thing about my wedding. It was perfect. I would like to give a special thanks to Maggie and Kay for making for bringing the vision of my wedding day to life and making everything run so smoothly the day of the wedding.

We had our wedding at The Bohlin earlier this year and were blown away by the entire day, staff, and planning process leading up to the wedding. The setting is beautiful and the team provides the best service out of any wedding venue I've ever been to before. Our guests raved about the food well after the day was over! They also noticed how approachable and friendly the staff were.

Don and Kat were awesome. They accommodated all our needs at a very good price. Very communicative and the pictures were beautiful. Highly recommend.

The venue was under a tent due to the weather. Parking is next to the tent. I think parking was $10-15. It was pretty warm inside with the heaters just my feet was cold as my table was closer to the door to go to the bathrooms outside the tent. The appetizers were plentiful and the picture of the main course attach was mind blowing. Never had a piece of steak that big from memory at a wedding. The steak was cooked to my liking (medium). The drinks were good up until the bartender told me they ran out of Johnny black but clearly a bottle was next to her so I opted for something else to avoid any further headaches. Staff for my table was attentive and very polite. Overall, pleasant experience with positive vibes throughout the night.

Our wedding was at Regatta and it was fantastic. The staff was great and very attentive. Everything ran very smoothly. We even had a bit of rain mid-reception and the team at Regatta was quick with umbrellas and additional tents to make sure the guests were all covered. The location and views are perfect. In my opinion nothing has a better setting for a wedding than Regatta.

Le Belvedere was the setting for a luncheon reception following a Memorial Service for my Dad. The location was beautiful, the room layout friendly and attractive, the food homemade-tasty, the assigned hostess very accommodating and thoughtful. My only concern was that it was very difficult to communicate with management prior to the event. However, when you were able to do so, they were very helpful and delivered just as promised.

Dena Gray and her staff provided a wonderful venue, delicious food, great service, gorgeous flowers, fabulous hors d'oeuvres, and fantastic evening for my birthday celebration. Many of the attendees expressed their thorough enjoyment of the evening, setting, and delicious, beautifully presented food.

I live locally and hit JBs with friends from out of town. Tough to beat their lobster roll and the entire lunch menu is on point. Great service and A+ view. Sailor Casual, good vibe.

Went to a wedding at the Bohlin and was blown away from the atmosphere and service. Good service was very fast and staff was very attentive. Bartenders were fast and personable. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a breathtaking experience.

Don and Cat were absolutely wonderful and the perfect photographer and officiant for our wedding. They were fun and lighthearted, just what we wanted for our ceremony. They helped us with questions and suggestions while planning the ceremony and were very quick to respond. Our ceremony was so much fun, everyone had a great time, they even came to the park on January 1st for an outdoor ceremony! We couldn’t have asked for anyone better! I would recommend them to anyone.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at The Bohin; it was a great experience. I was blown away by the level of professionalism and dedication demonstrated by The Bohin. The communication leading up to and throughout the wedding day was outstanding, which made for a seamless and stress-free event. Despite the rainy weather, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the clients and guests remained dry and comfortable. The tent and staff were top-notch. The docks next to the venue were a bonus providing a great photo location for some images of Newport Harbor. I highly recommend this venue to couples looking for a waterfront venue in Newport. My daughter had her wedding there this past weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! The venue is not only stunning but the staff is exceptional. Jennie was so helpful and did an amazing job. It was a perfect day from start to finish! Thank you for such beautiful memories!

Beautiful setting, nice place, but totally unprepared for our guests of 14. Waitress overwhelmed or very distracted, had to wait a long time for service, had to ask for at least bread to tie us over, drinks took forever, appetizers took forever, 2 of us got food only because it was delivered to the wrong table. 6 of my mussel order not even open to eat. Didn't get a buzz off my sangria & bought 3, while rest of table waited for food, had to track them down for bill, which was wrong on multiple people. No computer system, they did checks by hand, ridiculous! They could make lots of money if they knew how to run a restaurant?

What a beautiful location inside and out! My friend is getting married this summer and we met with Mallory for a site tour. She was very professional and showed us every inch of the space! This venue is also perfect for smaller midweek events with excellent pricing and inclusions!

The best decision we made was choosing Regatta Place as the venue for our wedding. We knew the second we stepped on the dock that the beautiful waterfront property was exactly what we were looking for. The staff in particular (thank you so much Maggie and Kay!) consistently exceeded our expectations. On the day of our wedding, we never felt like just another client. They treated us as if our wedding day was just as important to them, as it was to us. Our wedding guests and vendors all rave about just how perfect the day was. You will not be disappointed if you choose Regatta!

HORRIBLE, rude staff. They made us feel less than "WELCOME" . They said we had no business there, however, the doors were wide open. We thought it was open to the public because there were no signs saying private function, closed, or anything else.

We were married at Regatta Place last month and could not be more pleased with the communication, value and care that their entire staff gave to help us have the best day ever. Maggie, their director of catering supported us every step of the way. We had to have Beer and Bubbles (see pic) as part of our day and Regatta made it happen for us. In total, we had 3 other vendors working with Regatta to support all of the things we wanted to make our day special. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything they helped us with every step of the way. Wonderful restaurant to host a Baby Shower! The food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful and in such a beautiful setting. The only reason I didn't rate this venue with five stars was because communication prior to the event was difficult. We were never able to get an itemized cost for alterations or additions to the menu. A couple of ladies brought their under 6 month babies and we were charged per person for them as well. Again, this being said, the result was amazing!

We were originally planning a large wedding and after all the stress decided to cancel the large wedding and have a small ceremony in Newport. Don and Kat were amazing to work with! They were always available to answer questions and made the whole process easy and stress free. Our ceremony was exactly what we wanted and the pictures were amazing, we actually got them ahead of schedule! I would highly recommend Don and Kat!!!

Don was amazing! We planned our elopement in 9 days, and were locked into specific timing. With no time to secure a venue, we decided to do an outdoor ceremony. Of course, it happened to be the *one* day with 25 MPH winds and sideways rain! Don was incredibly flexible, super laid back (he wore flip flops with his slacks, tie and rain jacket), and just went with the flow (we nixed the location Plans A and B and ended up "punting" with a Plan C that afternoon). The planning process was such a whirlwind that we even asked him to "just pick" vows for us. Well, he did an *amazing* job! The vows were just perfect and tied into the ocean theme (we were at the Narragansett shore), rain, love, and endurance. I cannot recommend Weddings with a Heart enough!!

The Bohlin might be my favorite venue in Newport! It's in the perfect location, right on the water. The tent is not your standard wedding tent, it's gorgeous and in the summer, is all open to the harbor. As a photographer, I love the ceremony location especially. Plus, everything is all in one location. It feels relaxed and classy all at the same time!

We could not be happier with the choice of the Easton’s Beach Rotunda for our wedding! We worked closely with Peggy who was professional, responsive and helped us think through all the details of our day! Beth was also outstanding the day of! She was attentive and answered any questions we might have had! The space is beautiful! We were barefoot on the sand on an absolutely incredible weather day in late September. Our cocktail hour overlooked the sunset on one side of the deck and cliff walk and beach on the other. We even had a carousel which I knew would be a hit for the kids.... let alone I’ve never seen some of my adult family members smile so big! Our reception was held in the ballroom which was clean, elegant and had 360 views of the water! Our rock band also sounded excellent in the space!

The Eisenhower House is the perfect place for a wedding for couples who love that Newport charm but want a historic house rather than a marble mansion. Brides, want the prettiest getting ready photos? Get ready at the Eisenhower House. The bridal suite is huge, white, full of light, and has gorgeous antique furniture for all your dress shots, details, everything. It has a built in rain plan, as the front porch is covered and looks stunning for photos rain or shine, as well as an indoor side porch with wraparound windows. Parking is easy. The lawn is expansive (break out those cocktail hour lawn games!) and there’s plenty of room for the tent and the ceremony with a water view. The best part, other than the incredible architecture and over-abundance of photo ops, is that the staff will take you on a golf cart ride to the ocean! A quick 2 minute ride and you’re at these gorgeous cliffs overlooking the ocean. There’s greenery, water, everything perfect for your Newport wedding photos. And yes, the area faces the correct way for golden sunset photos. The staff here is incredible and go above and beyond to serve their clients, and you will be able to have an incredible Newport wedding without all the rules and regulations and time constraints a lot of the other venues do. Go take a tour now!!!

Irish Festival great

Great staff and service. We went on 7/4 to watch the fireworks and had a great view from the patio. Drinks wer great and food was very tasty. Only complaint is the cheese board didn't say it came with cashews. Partially on me for not advertising my allergy but it would have been nice to have read it on the menu. All in all I would definitely go back!

Im sure for weddings its beautiful, there was a free tour going on so I went in and tour wise it is nothing special. The bones seem original but the furniture seems pretty new and no information was in any rooms.

Virginia's Birthday was made perfect by their attention to detail and their stepping up to the occasion with every request. I can't say enough about the setting and service.

A really awesome place to hold the wedding. Great views over the harbour lots of space for socializing, and excellent catering or make this a really whizbang place to hold the wedding. Check it out you’ll be glad you did.

Great place for wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, and parties!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Easton Beach Rotunda Ballroom in June 2018, and we could not have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. Peggy Magner is the venue manager, and honestly, she was one of the primary reasons why we selected the Rotunda as our wedding venue. Peggy was a complete professional from day one of communicating with her. Peggy was filled with great knowledge and advice on which vendors we could work with to make our wedding day perfect. She remained in contact with us throughout our year-and-a-half long engagement, never hesitating to answer our questions every step of the way. I felt like our wedding was in great hands with Peggy at the helm.

Not only was Peggy the best to work with, but the space is absolutely beautiful. I never thought we’d be able to afford a beachside wedding in Newport, but the Rotunda is very reasonably priced. We were also lucky that the weather cooperated with us so that we could have our beautiful ceremony outdoors with the ocean as our gorgeous backdrop. Our guests also were so excited to ride on the carousel, which is definitely a very unique wedding experience that you can’t get at any other venue.

The best part about the Rotunda Ballroom for your wedding is the fact that you are on the beach! Beautiful soft sand, the view is incredible, it's a wonderful location for a wedding venue and I love photographing weddings there!
