We had event in the space. It has high ceilings, a blank canvas great for functions!

Maria was an absolute gem to deal with for our wedding. We had quite a few requests but Maria was so accommodating and really made the process so much more seamless than we thought it would be. The food was complimented by so many guests as well! Thank you Maria, Soriya & team!

I regularly attend an event at this venue (upstairs) and the glasses always seem dirty or old and the floors are sticky and don't seem clean especially around the toilets. I 100% would not book this place for my own function.

Absolutely shocking venue. HORRIBLE service, inefficient staff, the quality of the sound for mic use, music and everything in between is AWFUL. The event that was run UPSTAIRS in the loft, should receive free hire based on the horrific quality. And PLUS the wine tasted like vinegar, and the vodka tasted stail and even the soda water tasted terrible. The beer kegs were left HOT overnight, and then served: the bar staff told us this. Horrible.
As an event coordinator myself, I was doing everything the manager should have done. An entertainers nightmare. An organizers nightmare. I would never have an event here. -100 for venue hire.

Unbelievably Unprofessional.

The "state of the art" sound system dropped out every 30 seconds if that.

After paying over 3k for a venue the functions coordinator a no show. No staff.

One person turned up for less than 2 minutes and disappeared. Leaving us to run through a patchy bluetooth system with mics that don't work, power cables that don't fit the sockets, powerpoints that don't work.

The only sound that actually worked was the single pa speaker we brought ourselves for the dj and which we ended up having to run for performers at the other end of the venue. As the lofts equipment is faulty.

Due to having to troubleshoot all afternoon until I got home after 12 I didn't get to stop to even use the bathroom.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I have had the pleasure of organising our firm Christmas party at The Joinery for the past three years and every year The Joinery has done a phenomenal job. Every year was themed differently so that even though we were at the same venue it didn't feel like it and every year the food, service and quality of everything was to perfection. Maria and her team are so professional and trustworthy that you never have a worry about whether the event will be a success because with them in charge it always will be! Thank you for wonderful events year after year, you make my job of organising the event so easy!

I celebrated my 40th birthday on Saturday in the private "cocktail bar" @Loft. It was AMAZING! The staff were very accommodating to my requests. We brought in decorations, flowers, photo booth and our own music. Food was great, drinks were great, dancing was great, room looked fantastic. Very competitive pricing! Highly recommend hosting your private functions in this space. Thank you so much @ Loft !

We hosted our work end of year party at Loft - Brittney was so helpful in organising the right amount of food and drink. The upstairs area was great for our team, with the perfect amount of indoor and outdoor space.

We had our son's engagement party at The Loft West End in October this year (2023) and was impressed from the first meeting we had back in May. The staff took their time to ensure that we had a thorough walk through of the spaces, explained everything that was or wasn't included, took the time to show us the beverage choices, furniture, lighting etc. We had another walk through closer to the date, to ensure all was in place for the night and discussed the finer details of the night. We ordered a variety of food for 80 guests and we initially were not too sure if it would be enough, but it was plentiful for everyone. We didn't think about signage on the night and lovely Britney (functions manager) ensured that signs were printed and in place right at the last minute before the function began. Nothing seemed to be too much effort for her or her staff. The even organised a brilliant DJ for us at a very reasonable cost. The space we had was INCREDIBLE - so beautifully detailed, lovely furniture and fittings, great air-conditioning and well appointed bathrooms. Our guests absolutely loved it and we received so much positive feedback. There is a stunning external staircase that leads into the upstairs venue with gorgeous fairy lighting and a lift that goes straight up. The cost is very reasonable and there is plenty of street parking close by. Jackson, Brett, Malcolm, Britney and Luca worked the evening and I cannot speak more highly of these wonderful people - I could just bottle them and take them home :))))

I can't recommend The Joinery enough! Our event was a massive success and all our guests said it was the best party they have been to!

We loved everything about The Joinery, from the event management and attention to detail, the divine food (everyone commented on how delicious it was), the event space which we could really make our own, the staff who went above and beyond and really seemed to be happy to be there, the personal touch they provided to us, and the genuine care they put into this event.

We recently hosted our annual practice dinner for 70 people at the Joinery. Maria was very supportive, very organized and endlessly patient throughout the planning process. The venue itself was perfect for a large number of people and the food and service exemplary. A thoroughly enjoyable evening for everyone. I highly recommend the Joinery for anyone planning a special event.

Attended a work function here. Good food and drinks but when the DJ finished at 10.30 we asked to plug in our phone but the audio equipment settings were almost unbearable to listen too. Intense feedback for an hour+. Multiple people asked multiple times to adjust to be told that they are the standard settings and no.
Staff rolled there eyes when told glass was on the dance floor.

Our children's engagement took 2 attempts at this impressive venue, The Joinery. We were collateral damage to the Covid situation at the time of abrupt lockdowns & social distancing.

Without the support of Maria & Penny from The Joinery, this celebration would not have been the success it was. They made everything possible with such ease & confidence from organising furniture and lighting, to personally designing a menu with high quality food that did not disappoint.

The staff as always were attentive & service impeccable as always. This is not our first event at The Joinery.

We recently held our Springfree Trampoline Free Family Rumble In The Jungle event at The Joinery in West End. From the very beginning right through to post event we found the whole process and experience to be amazing.

The venue was well maintained, clean, it presented well and was well priced. A huge stand out for us besides the venue were the staff, they were so great to work with, they were extremely accommodating, honest, friendly and were very hands on supporting us the whole way through our event which added to the atmosphere.

We can not recommend this venue and team enough.

Gem of a place! Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Great vibe, lovely cocktails, amazing decor. Love, love this place! I hadn't had a Singapore Sling since being at Raffles in Singapore, and The Loft made it perfectly when I was last there in December 2017. The two lads I was with enjoyed the choice of beers too.
