Great venue! We got it the day before, day of, and day after. We were impressed and many guests were impressed. We got a lot of compliments. So much room to roam, a lot of personality, and great for photo ops!
The venue owner was very helpful. Her and her husband were always willing to help!
My one flaw is that it could use a few renovations. The floor in the kitchen/bathroom area was a bit tacky and odd bathroom set up downstairs. The rest of the venue fit the look we were going for and fit what we wanted.

Edit: after the wedding we have heard that the male owner was yelling at guests who were trying to help the bartender by bringing up alcohol to the 2nd level of the barn. 1 of our bartenders was a no show, so we only had 1 that could use all the help they could get. The groomsmen were trying to help carry the liquor upstairs. They threatened to take the bartenders license just because our groomsmen were trying to help.

Just attended an event there. The owners of the venue were amazing. The venue was amazing. If you are looking for a place to host a wedding in central Minnesota, look here! 10/10

I would not recommend having a wedding here. The venue itself was very nice, but unfortunately, the owners were very rude. We had parked in the driveway the night before the wedding to unload and setup and we were greeted by the wife rudely and loudly telling people to move. The next morning as my wife walked past her and kindly said hello, the owners wife shot a rude glare and my photographers said how rude that was. Fast forward to later on and a day of micromanaging including the wife getting mad about us setting up our own chairs for the ceremony, the husband came up yelling at my bartenders for giving out a beer at 12:02. Granted we were supposed to cut off at 12 but there was no clock up there and we were all drinking and having fun, nothing rowdy. He was pointing in her face, yelling, and rudely referring to her as “lady” even tho he knew her name. We were then yelled at the next morning while the husband tried to get in my face and intimidate me for driving out at 12:33 instead of 12. What a terrible experience from the owners but great view. Would like to save someone else the trouble of having to deal with these two. Not to mention in between all the rude interactions with them throughout the day, they (without asking) made themselves a plate, sat with our guests, and drank our booze all night that we paid for.

Will be celebrating my son and future daughter in laws wedding at The Barn in June. The property is well maintained, 2 fire pit areas, a spot for an outdoor bar and the barn itself is cute and rustic. Good for small-ish gathering. Very flexible food and beverage policy!

Was here for a friend wedding and it was absolutely amazing and beautiful. Loved the farm and the owners.

Dave was better than we could have ever imagined as a host for our special day. The farm was in immaculate shape, the support was above and beyond, and the follow through was consistent. Thank you Dave for making our wedding the best day of our life.

We had our wedding there this past weekend and it was nothing short of amazing. David was supper awesome and was very accommodating! The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and we received a lot of compliments from our guests! I would very easily recommend this venue.

We had our wedding this past September at The Historic Deglman Farm, and I can not say enough positive things! The place is absolutely breath taking and we has so many guest comment on this being the best wedding venue they have ever been to!!
The owner went above and beyond on the day of the wedding and the months prior to the wedding answering question, helped with planning and so much more. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a barn wedding as its truly one a kind and the owner and staff are truly amazing people!

This is an amazing place for an event! Great owners and great sunsets!! Do not over look this this place!

Beautiful place. The landscaping was so pretty and the people that run the place are so incredibly nice and helpful . So many things to look at and do especially the barn, the barn was breathtaking and felt like i went back in time. One of the best places to have your wedding at for sure!

We recently had our wedding at this venue and it was perfect! David was very helpful with any and all questions. We had quite a few kids at our wedding and the park there was a huge hit for all ages! So much to do for both adults & kids. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a relaxed outdoor wedding.

Excited to be working my first event at the Historic Deglman Farm in June this year. The pictures look phenomenal and I've heard nothing but the highest of praises about this place.

I'm really excited about it and looking forward to doing lots of weddings at the HDF!

Beautiful venue! Traffic on the road continually interrupted the wedding ceremony, motorcycles loud trucks a bit frustrating...BUT a totally beautiful place to watch your children be one one

Amazing place and the owners are the best. Lori was there the whole time to offer help and give us suggestions. We set up on Friday evening in the party tent and at 10:00 pm a storm roared in. Lori came out to help clear off all the tables and put chairs and tables to the back. She spent all day Saturday helping us with setting chairs by the pergola and finding things for us to use. Would highly recommend them.

Stunning location. Great photo ops everywhere you look!!! Such fun staging areas. Mature evergreens were amazing back drops to photograph against. Truly great venue for 'Country Classy' weddings!

This is was such a fun, rustic wedding venue to photograph! Being a wedding photographer since 2007, I have photographed at many barns in MN, but this one is so unique! There are so many gorgeous portrait spots, and the oak tree where the ceremony took place was stunning! Great venue for a couple looking for a rustic wedding!
