The Avenue was a beautiful location for the Lupus Ontario Gala 2024. Not only were the staff extremely attentive during the event, but they also helped plan an incredible night. Excellent suggestions helped simplify planning and took our event to the next level. The Projection Mapping was a highlight, setting the stage for the Spring Soirée theme throughout the ballroom. With great food, a beautiful venue, an excellent location and amazing staff, we could not have been happier. Thank you!
Recently, we celebrated our son's Bar Mitzvah at Avenue Banquet Hall. It was a grandiose celebration indeed! For the past 4 days, I've been receiving calls and messages from our guests who were extremely pleased. I want to share my experience, hoping it will help you make decisions for your celebration.

I'll start with the pros and cons.
Pros:
* From our very first meeting with the owners, Julia and Emil, I felt we were on the same page. They assured me that everything would go perfectly, and they would take care of it. Throughout the planning process, they helped and advised me on what's best and most efficient, quicker, and more cost-effective. Their assistance was crucial as it was a large and daunting project. I'm very grateful for their support from the initial steps to the end of the event.
* The layout of the Banquet Hall was very convenient. It allowed us to greet people in a large foyer, then invite them to a beautiful main hall, and only after some time reveal the secret room with lots of entertainment for the kids.
* The food was delicious and fresh, there was plenty of it, and the guests were thrilled. Some guests needed special attention, as they required a separate kosher menu.
* I especially want to highlight the hall manager, Emalee, who anticipated all my wishes and requests and instantly fulfilled them. The waitstaff and bartenders worked professionally, politely, and knew their job well.
* The Party Crew and MC Emil went above and beyond, creating a fantastic energy in the hall, with great music, fun, and sentimental moments. This team has been working together for many years, and they are true professionals.
* If you're planning an event at this hall, definitely opt for projection mapping. It completely changes the ambiance in the hall; the lights and screens bring a magical atmosphere.
Cons: There's nothing to mention here.
I want to sincerely thank the entire team at Avenue Banquet Hall for making our event flawless, stress-free, allowing my family to relax fully, and enjoy the celebration, be with guests, and savor the moment.
We will definitely return and highly recommend this place to everyone!

I can't say enough good things about Julia and Emil, the owners of the Avenue Banquet Hall. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make our event unforgettable. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process, and on the day of the event, they were there until the very end, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Their dedication and support truly made a difference, and I can't thank them enough. Hands down, they are the best!

Our first time on Jan 27th for a wedding. The hall is amazing - super clean, and everything is tastefully decorated, bathrooms are exceptionally clean, which is super rare these days. Gotta compliment the chef - from antipasto to dessert everything was absolutely delicious. Really recommend this place for any special occasion. Thank you.

My husband and I, began our wedding planning journey in 2021 and decided to book a consultation with the Hazelton Manor after attending a friends wedding that took place at this venue. From the first consultation meeting with Ken to the day of our wedding we are forever grateful for the amazing experience and services Ken and his team provided for us. We got married here on Oct 21st 2023 and it truly was the most magical day but definitely would not have been possible without Ken. He was available to chat at all times, give his professional opinion on anything that crossed my mind, coordinated all my vendors for the week of, accommodated any/every dietary restriction my guests had, set up my personal DIY decors in the foyer, stayed throughout the night for support to ensure everything ran smoothly, and truly just calmed my every nerve. I was able to give full trust in someone to handle one of the biggest days of my life and turn it into everything I could have hoped! We got so many compliments from our guests on the food, late night stations, and service (especially bar service lol). I would recommend this place to anyone getting married in the future!! Reach out to Ken and you won’t’ be disappointed.

Side Note:
I also hosted my bridal shower here in June 2023 for a Brunch and Bubbly afternoon, which turned out AMAZING. As stressed as I was, Ken was always very reassuring and accommodating to all of the decisions I had planned for the day. We also got so many compliments on the brunch/food options from the buffet that we planned out.

My wife and I recently had our wedding here on December 9th. Working with George throughout the process was great. If he was not available someone always was to answer our questions. Our wedding was amazing, the food was great and overall the service was fantastic! Our guests loved the food and the venue. The cost per person was reasonable which made it better for us when shopping for a wedding venue. Even on our wedding day, George was there late to assist at the end of the evening.

Plates that were ready for dishwasher were picked up off the table every 10 minutes.
Food was prepared in a timely manner.
Variety of foods were available
Fresh drinking water containers refilled always water on table to drink.

We recently attended a party at The Avenue and it was the best party we’ve been to in many years!!
The food was delicious! The hall is freshly decorated, modern and inviting. The cocktail reception area is large and the party room is spectacular. The party had projections on the wall and it was the first time we have seen such an exciting decor idea. The staff were pleasant, polite and eager to please. This must be due to good working conditions and pay because I have not seen staff this well trained. I met the owner Emil, as he was walking around making sure everyone was happy.
Emil and team, you were all fantastic on Dec 9! A good event is hard to pull off and you did it. Congrats and continued success.
Just had my stag and the staff was incredibly friendly and easy to work with.

I didn’t eat much, was very busy the night of but all my guests were incredibly happy with the food
My husband and I just got married here on 11/11 and this was the best decision of our lives. Ken made this the best experience. Every little thing was perfect and he was so patient and attentive. My husband and I agreed that the food, drinks and vibe (experience) were the top priority for us in order to give our guests a great time. With this in mind, we chose Hazelton Manor. We had our wedding reception at Hazelton Manor in October and all we can say is, it was the BEST decision we made throughout the wedding process. Everything was to perfection.

Ken: The reason for the wedding success was Ken. We went with Hazelton Manor because of Ken. I’m really at a loss for words to describe how amazing, blessed and thankful my husband and I were to work with him. Majority of the halls we went to visit, we really felt like a “number” or just another couple to the people who were giving us the tour, we were not personally connecting with any of them, we were just another slot in their schedule. When we went to Hazelton Manor, when we met Ken, WOW. He was kind, intelligent, knows this industry VERY well and most importantly, very personable, we connected with him right off the bat. It was very a very authentic interaction. We were stuck between two venues, but ultimately knew we had to go with Hazelton because of Ken. Best. Decision. Ever. He LITERALLY took ALL the stress away. He was with us from the first day we toured the place, to the actual wedding night. What a privilege it was to work with him. We did not have a wedding planner, and honestly you don’t need one if you are going to work with Ken. In our thank you speeches and even in our families thank you speeches we all mentioned Ken (without knowing) because that is how much he positively impacted our wedding experience.

The Hall/Staff: The hall was AMAZING, they made it look soo beautiful and the staff executed the vision perfectly. They helped with setting up and breakdown and were so accommodating and accessible to everything. The staff were incredibly friendly, had amazing customer service and really made the process so seamless. Hazelton Manor really cares about who they hire and ensure that the standard is set high for them to deliver on. At no point did we have ANY issues, it was smooth sailing.

Food/Bar: We had guests voluntarily come up during and days after the wedding to make the sole point that that was the best wedding food they ever had. My husband and I absolutely loved the food during the tasting and during the reception, the quality was consistent, and they delivered the day of the event. We were also very happy with the Bar and the bartenders and were able to customize some of the vodkas and liqueurs to reflect our backgrounds. The bartenders were fast and attentive and guests mentioned they were incredibly friendly as well.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I would give it 100 stars. They offer competitive prices/packages and go above and beyond for you. They went above and beyond our expectations, going with Hazelton was the smartest choice my husband and I made.

I have frequented this banquet hall numerous times in the past decade and have observed the recent improvements they have made. The establishment has undergone a remarkable renovation and is now under excellent management, making it incredibly accommodating and pleasant to collaborate with. The venue is impeccably clean and boasts banquet rooms with a delightful blend of modern and traditional Italian design. Additionally, the spacious halls are capable of comfortably accommodating a large number of guests without any difficulty. I highly recommend this venue for hosting weddings or other significant events.

Thank you Phil, Frank and Stephanie for ensuring that our nearly 800 person event was a tremendous success. You easily accommodated our special requests and modifications. Your staff, especially our Captain, Mariam offered top-shelf service. The food was spot on - delicious and served hot; the bartenders were friendly and your event space is tastefully redecorated and very clean. Can't wait to host our 2024 event with you!!

Julia and Bar and the whole Avenue/Boulevard Room team were super helpful, nice and organized throughout the whole wedding. From planning to the day of, they didn't miss anything, the food was great and they were very attentive! I wasn't even stressed the entire day as I felt like they had it under control. 👌

Absolutely a beautiful venue! I had my wedding and reception here and I have nothing but good words for this place! All my guests and family loved this place and it made my wedding really special! The staff is also very kind! Stephanie is an amazing coordinator and Frank is always ready to help us!

Such a pleasure working with Frank, Phil, Stephanie and Tony!!! What a great team they have! There food is phenomenal and presentation is nice! The service is unbeatable and the venue is outstanding. Extremely modern with beautiful recent renovations! Defiantly the spot to host any Wedding, Social or Corperate Event!

WOW! My husband and I had our wedding this past Sunday at Venu Event Space. The entire team at Venu went above and beyond to make our wedding memorable. Stephanie and Frank are wedding planning saviours. Their customer service and attention to detail is like no other. I made many changes and they accommodated all of my changes.
We had Marian as our captain for the night and she is an absolute doll! Her customer service was noted by all my guests. She helped to set up my receiving line and made a beautiful display. She made sure that my husband and I ate and she kept the food rolling on demand.
It's now Thursday and my guests are still ranting and raving about the food and customer service. I even had guests take their steak home because they were full and didn't want it to go to waste.
Steph, Frank & Mirian, thank you for making our wedding the event of the year. We would recommend you 10000000%. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I don't even know where to begin. Our perfect dream wedding came true all thanks to all of our vendors and especially to The Avenue Banquet Hall and Party Crew Entertainment. Emil, Julia, and Bar were all so helpful during the planning process and especially during the wedding itself!

We STILL have many of our guests telling us how this was the best wedding they've ever been to! They are still raving about how good the food was, how fun the music and entertainment was, and how beautiful the setup and decor was. Personally, I was so impressed with the beautiful projection mapping for our garden themed wedding; I truly felt like I was in a dream.

With The Avenue's newly renovated flooring, it brought so much more light and "openness" to the space that it was one large continuous space where our guests can eat, dance, and enjoy themselves throughout the night. The layout that Julia recommended for our guest tables, head table, and sweetheart table made so much sense that we can see everyone and no one was "pushed to the side".

Emil did an excellent job with his Party Crew team to create a space where our guests felt so comfortable to be lively and fun! Our families partied HARD that night and we wouldn't have had it any other way!

And when we had a bad experience with a vendor, they called one of their many preferred vendors, fixed the issue, and set up a meeting for us without any hesitation.
From my bridal shower to our rehearsal dinner, catering the morning of and to the wedding the staff at this hall made everything perfect. Along with the management staff, they have the most amazing staff who pay attention to everything your guests may need. I couldn't have asked for a better team to make our day go off without an issue.
The food this venue puts in front of guests is incredible. The venue holds itself to a quality that I haven't seen in a long time. The quality and detail they put into events are beyond what I expected. They also have the most amazing late-night options.

The Venu Event Space is a first-class hall rental. My Wife and I attended a wedding reception there, and it was impressive. The hall was decorated beautifully, and the food was 5 star. Every food course was better than the next. The bartenders, male and female service attendants, are very professional. I would not hesitate to have an even at this world-class venu.

Just wanted to let you know that everyone was very impressed with the food and service at the Boulevard for our wedding (June 23rd 2023)!

Guests were super appreciative of the food restrictions alternative menu items and how attentive all staff were.

Thank you, Bar, for running the event seamlessly with zero hiccups and keeping everyone calm lol. Our wedding day could not be more perfect. Only regret was forgetting to take some of the sliders home when staff offered to pack it 😜.

Would recommend the Boulevard to friends for any event!! It was a dream! Julia and her husband were also very accommodating throughout the planning process.

My husband and I got married at Hazelton Manor last month in March and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. George is absolutely wonderful. He answered our many many questions with a friendly attitude and made sure we had everything we wanted for our wedding. The venue itself is really gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the lobby and the pictures turned out so beautifully. The food is beyond delicious and everyone was saying it was the best wedding they had been to. I would highly recommend Hazelton Manor 🫶

AMAZING SPACE! We have been performing at Hazelton Manor for a few years now and I just wanted to let everyone know how amazing this place is. Host your wedding here, you will not be disappointed at all! The staff (including the owner Jim) always go above and beyond to ensure every event goes on without a hitch! Also, let’s just take a second to appreciate the aesthetics of the venue before you even enter the Grand Room. Everything is so elegant from the moment you walk through the doors to the moment you take your seat. The foyer is beautifully designed — perfect for cocktails or to host an intimate ceremony. We can’t wait to perform here again!

We had our wedding at Hazelton Manor on Feb 4, 2023 and I have to say, it was one of the best choices we made. The venue is absolutely beautiful. We fell in love with the venue the moment we first walked in. We received so many compliments on the venue and delicious food. The food and staff were amazing and we are beyond happy that we chose Hazelton to host our special night.

We dealt with Ken Christofi primarily. From start to finish he helped us with any questions we had, down to the day of coordination with our vendors. Ken went above and beyond for us and we will be forever grateful for everything he did to ensure our night went by smoothly. He was super responsive and oh-so-funny! He made the entire planning a breeze all the way to the execution of the wedding day. We’ll definitely miss Ken and his wittyness. He is a one of a kind person that will assist you all the way through :) Thank you Ken and to all of your amazing staff at the Hazelton Manor for an incredible evening. A big thank you also to Maggy, George and everyone who worked at our wedding that evening. Maggy was the person who helped put all the decor pieces together on the tables. She was beyond amazing! Hazelton Manor is not only a beautiful venue but is also filled with amazing staff with impeccable customer service skills that will help you feel at ease.

We had an amazing wedding celebration and couldn’t have done it so beautifully without Ken and his amazing staff at the Hazelton Manor. Hope to host more parties here sometime in the future!

I was invited here last night for a cooperation event the hall was big and nice staff and bartenders were friendly and responsible . Their vegetarian dish was so great . The only disappointment was the facilities that was not clean and was not working .

I *just* got married here and the experience I had with this venue could not have been better. The level of organization is top-tier. We had to have our ceremony in the larger hall to support all 240 of our guests and Julia (the venue manager) plus staff pulled off the most timely and organized room flip I’ve ever seen. The tables, chairs, centrepieces, decor… everything was set up to the nines. Not to mention the food was incredible. Our guests were so happy with the quality and quantity of the family style food service we got. Incredible atmosphere. Very well-managed. Julia was always ready to answer all our phone calls and emails, and was supporting us throughout the entire wedding planning process. The event went completely on-schedule and had not one single fault. I’ll forever be grateful for this venue, their staff, their management team, and the in-house entertainment team. It was the wedding of the century thanks to them.

Sorry there is no choice lower than one star, Please don't book any event this place at all. we have two event morning and evening, also been used this place four times in the past under very good ownership then, this ownership is the worsen experience we had. I have request to clean the carpet before the event start, in reply they have denied rudely, the carpet was used and dirty from previous event. We have requested to change the lunch plate and given us 6" plate for Indian lunch, we want to serve the Indian food and we arrange from outside in contract. Both side bathroom sink were blocked morning to night, I think its remain same by now. They are holding this place just for high rise building they don't have any interest to run as a event place anymore. I will never go there for any event, If your contract under the previous ownership, they treat you like unwanted guest.. If I had choice I would change, they know very well that you don't have at last minute.
Fantastic Venue for any Special Event. I have photographed Graduation parties here, Anniversary Celebrations, Milestone Birthday Parties and family functions such as Confirmations, Baptisms and Communions. Excellent food and attentive service
