Absolutely gorgeous building. The old mansion was perfect for a smaller sized wedding, and the staff were incredibly kind. We also felt that the wedding package was incredibly affordable for what was offered. Highly recommend!

I am so glad that my now husband and I chose the Governor Hill Mansion as the location of our wedding. The venue is historic and has so many gorgeous visual elements. But, we were also thrilled to work with their coordinator Elaine Sounier. From my first email she was very helpful and informative, and made sure every detail was taken care of. We were allowed to set up on Friday afternoon and have the rehearsal, which allowed for our Saturday wedding to flow seamlessly. My bridesmaids and I loved getting ready in the Bridal Suite, and the Mansion has so many charming elements. We were also able to clean up on Sunday morning, and did not have to rush to leave the event on Saturday night. The rates are very reasonable, and it was helpful to have all of the catering in one place. I have received lots of good feedback from guests about how good the food was, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose to have our wedding here. Thank you GHM and Elaine!

Plenty of parking, easily accessible, good spaces for wedding parties to get ready, lots of gorgeous photo opportunities and the coordinator, Elaine, is personable and calm and super helpful! Historic and impressive building that feels friendly and welcoming. I officiate weddings, and I LOVE doing them at the Governor Hill Mansion!

The Govenor Hill Mansion is a truly exquisite venue! The Catering was absolutely outstanding, and the staff was excellent! In their down time, they even helped pick up the Ceremony Room to make it easier for us later. This historical building is an absolute gorgeous place to have photos taken! It was so convient to have our Ceremony and Reception all at the same place! We are so happy we chose this venue for our wedding!

A beautiful historic building. The inside holding the charm of the era that it was built. Great place to hold events, amazing people to work with and the food for events is top notch. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in May and everything was absolutely perfect. Elaine was a great help and very easy to work with. All of our questions were answered and there were no further questions come well before the wedding day. Everyone had nothing but wonderful things to say about the atmosphere, the food and the fun that they had. We would highly recommend anyone to reserve their reception or any event at the Governor Hill Mansion. You will not be disappointed.

I've been to a couple of events here. The service is second to none. I suggest this place to any one that wants to have a private event.
