Very efficient place. The way they have it set up...how quickly they turn it over from ceremony to reception. Their food service is so friendly and floor staff is very efficient in moving the ceremony along and transitions! I was very amazed at their speed, intentionality and efficiency.

The Balcony Ballroom is beautiful!! Service is top notch. TOP NOTCH. All details were covered and the staff here treated our guests like royalty. Variety of good good food and drinks. DJ was also very good. We danced all night!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Balcony Ballroom! The entire staff was so attentive, friendly, professional, and truly passionate about what they do! They thought of every detail and made our big day so special for us and our family.

Vanessa was our day of coordinator, and what a luxury it was to have someone so experienced there from start to finish. She coordinated the flow of it all perfectly. We did not have any stress for the ceremony or the reception thanks to her!

The food is top tier at the Balcony. Our guest were blown away by all the amazing food options. Our guests had such a good time & we are still getting comments that it was the best wedding ever!! It was a magical night that we will cherish forever. Thank you Balcony Ballroom for an incredible night!

Excellent wedding venue! Gorgeously attributed. Gives off that old New Orleans Hotel vibe with its Corinthian columns. Catering is fantastic and service is very, very good! Bartenders are first-rate.

The Foundation Center at Lafreniere Park is a beautiful place to host an event. The back of the great room is full of windows looking out over the park. A large iron fenced yard out back has seating all about live oaks and cypress.

The owners and waiters were so kind, professional, and helpful. The food was good and our guests were catered to all evening. It was an incredible event and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you TJ! Thank you Mrs. Lee!

The Krewe of King Arthur held their King & Queens Party on Saturday, 11/4/23. The Staff at The Balcony went above and beyond to my wildest expectations. The venue is stunning. The food is outstanding and I’ve been receiving compliments daily from guests in attendance about how delicious everything was. The Staff is Top Notch to work with. If you need to host a party or wedding, I highly recommend The Balcony for your next event!

We had a great time celebrating our employees at our annual banquet at The Jefferson Orleans South. TJ did a great job in making this a great day for our employees!

It's been 1 month since our union and our guests are still raving about it being the best wedding they've been to.
They can't stop talking about the food, how everything tasted amazing and how fresh the flavors were, also how smoothly everything ran at The Balcony Ballroom.
Vanessa and the entire team made my wife and I so happy with everything from start to finish and treated us like Queens. We live in AL and I would highly recommend them for a destination wedding, when I tell you they took care of everything, they did!
The entire experience dealing with The Balcony Ballroom was like a fairytale.
My wife and my hands are never empty, someone was always at our side catering to us.

We held a fundraising event recently and let tell you, we will be back.
I cannot believe how amazingly smooth the whole night went thanks to TJ and his staff. TJ saw our vision and made it happen. He bent over backwards to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Highly recommend this venue for any event.

I tried to make a reservation for a memorial service for my dad and was treated so rudely that I cannot even believe this was real. In case you are not aware, they do not rent out the Foundation Room for memorials, (even though when I called that morning I was told they did)! The fact that I am dealing with a loss and had to deal with an entire office of rude people is unbelievable. Especially when you consider that my tax dollars pay for this park! I will be looking elsewhere for my rental needs from now on, and hope that these people, manager and a director included, get their attitudes adjusted soon.

Beautiful park. Two stars off because security should be reinforced. When we went, there was a guy doing agressive doughnuts with his car right by the poor little ducks who almost got run over. It was horrifying, maddening and just terrible to witness. Speaking of the ducks and other animals - I'm sure they'd appreciate a few more ramps for their youngs...

We recently had a family gathering at this venue. Everyone was so professional, friendly, and accommodating! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and had a wonderful time. Many thanks for a memorable day!!

Had my wedding reception here a few weeks ago and I absolutely loved it! The owner Mr. Tj and his staff were so amazing and accommodating! The food that I got to try was so delicious! I can’t wait to have another event there!!!

If you are looking to have a wedding you will never ever forget, this is your venue. Mike and his staff were, hands down, the best group I have gotten the pleasure to work with planning our special day. We did not have to worry about a thing , everything was taken care and we got to enjoy our special night. The food was delicious and never ending. Our guests still talk about how this was the BEST wedding they have attended and we got married 7 months ago! The venue, decorations, food, drinks, and the staff were incredible and this will be a night I will never forget! Thank you Balcony Ballroom for making our dream wedding come true! Everything was just perfect!

I will definitely recommend this venue for all events. The attention we recieved was beyond superb! When the owner is there to personally serve you and your party speaks volumes of how they handle business. We actually had a major hiccup on our part because I didn't have an accurate head count and we ended up with 55 more guest then what I originally booked for.
Mr. TJ and his crew sprung into action! They were able to deliver the extra 55 plates without compromising the quality, portion, taste or presentation of the food. A huge thank you to his wife who behind the scenes also made my night go without a hitch. The servers were very attentive to everyone. The space is beautiful! Very elegant and clean. Thank you everyone for making our event special. You guys are awesome!!

OMG! Words cannot explain how much I love with this venue. From DAY ONE, Jay and Vanessa were there for my every need and had an answer to every question that I could think of. Even the week of my wedding, Vanessa called and made sure that all of my details even the ones that didn't directly pertain to The Balcony Ballroom were taken care of .. She even had my "outspoken mother" in shock and amazed! I loved it. She needs to be forever protected. MIKE! You are the man. Everytime my husband and I turned around he was there. Tending to our every need. This was one of the best wedding venues ever. I still have guest raving about our wedding.. VOW RENEWAL US PLEASE!!

Beautiful venue conveniently located inside Lafreniere Park! Great for small weddings, showers, birthdays, and other special occasions. Plenty of parking and recently renovated wheelchair spaces and ramp.

The last time I received such excellent service from a Specialty Hall was at my wedding in 1981. And that person providing the service was a long time family friend of my new bride.

But this time I was introduced as the DJ for the event. And was provided Excellent Service in accommodating my schedule for setting up. And anything I needed.

Then at the event I received excellent service from the entire staff as well. The young servers were refreshingly polite and professional.

The food from the appetizer to the two main selections were very tasty. Fresh, and hot!
Served by Friendly but professional servers and or Chefs.

While I don't drink, the bar seemed to be keeping everyone who did sufficiently happy.

Highly Recommend for any special occasion.
TJ will treat you better than family. You may find fancier, but you won't find better service!
